Objective To evaluate the accuracy of enhanced CT scan in clinical staging of colorectal cance by detecting the general sit-uation and T and N staging through plain scan combined with enhanced CT scan.Methods Totally 49 cases of colorectal cancer patients were enrolled in this study from May 2015 to October 2015,and it showed no distant metastasis of colorectal cancer in clinical examination. Evaluated the general situation (location,size,and pathologic type)and T and N staging of colorectal cancer through plain scan and enhanced CT scan and multiplanar restructuring.Compared the imaging staging with pathological staging,and respectively calculated the sensitivity,spe-cific degree and accuracy of T and N staging.Evaluated the accuracy of T and N staging with the consistency test,and the differences were statistically significant with P <0.05.Results The location and pathological type of tumor detected by CT scan were compared with the re-sults of operation,and the coincidence rate was 100%.The maximum diameter of the tumor was (2.26 ±1.40)cm from CT image and (2.37 ±1.38)cm from operation measure,and the data were highly correlated (r =0.906,P =0.000).The coincidence rate of T staging was 65.3%,and the consistency was good (k =0.467,P =0.000).The coincidence rate of N staging was 63.3%,and the consistency was good (k =0.440,P =0.000).Conclusion Enhanced CT scan can provide sufficient information for the preoperative evaluation of colorectal cancer,and it has important clinical application value.

Objective To explore the effects of quercetin and quercetin in combination with cisplatin on adhesion, migration and invasion of HeLa cells. Methods Adhesion, migration and invasion of HeLa cells treated with quercetin and quercetin in combination with cisplatin were measured by adhesion assay, wound healing assay, and transwell chamber method respectively. Results The results showed that quercetin and quercetin in combination with cisplatin could inhibit adhesion, migration and invasion of HeLa cells. The adhesive ratio, migration rate and the invasiveness were negatively proportional to concentration of quercetin and quercetin in combination with cisplatin. With increasing concentration of quercetin from 20 to 80 μmol/L, the adhesive ratio decreased from ( 82. 2±1. 5 ) % to ( 48. 4±1. 1 ) % ; the migration rote decreased from (7.26±0. 20) μm/h to (3.78±0. 64) μm/h; the invasiveness decreased from ( 124. 3± 1. 5) piece to (90. 7±2. 1 ) piece(P <0. 05). In quercetin and quereetin in combination with 10 μmol/L cisplatin treatment group, with quercetin concentration increasing from 20 to 80 μmol/L, the adhesive ratio decreased from (42. 6±1. 2) % to ( 27. 5±1. 7 ) %, the migration rate decreased from ( 2. 20±0. 33) μm/h to (0.72±0. 19) μm/h and the invasiveness decreased from (78.7±2.5) piece to (44.0±4.0) piece (P < 0. 05 ). Compared with the quercetin groups, querectin in combination with cisplatin groups had significantly higher inhibitory effects ( P < 0. 05 ). Conclusions Quercetin and quercetin in combination with cisplatin can inhibit adhesion and migration and invasion of HeLa cells. Quercetin can enhance the inhibitory effect of cisplatin on HeLa cell adhesion, migration and invasion.

Objective To explore the baggy eyelids anaplasty through posterior orbital septum fat displacement. Methods Orbital septum and posterior orbital septum fat were exposed through palpebral margin incision, internal orbital septum fat was released and sutured with arcuate expansion of capsulopalpebral fascia at the middle lower eyelid, which was taken as the function of tighting the flaccid lower eyelid at transverse direction. On such a basis, the muscle and skin were repaired and so did orbital septum and baggy eyelids.Results Ofthe 38 patients with this operation, baggy eyelids anaplasty was performed with satisfactory results.Conclusion The method of baggy eyelids plasty through posterior orbital septum fat displacement could reduce hemorrhage, prevent enophthalmos and decrease baggy eye palindromia, with better long-term effects.

AIM The proofs of evidence-based medicine of Qingkailing Injection's effect on viral hepatitis are lack in spite of the wide use of Qingkailing Injection in medical practice.This study aims to use Meta-analysis to evaluate its clinical effect and safety.METHODS Such databases as CNKI,VIP and Wanfang were searched for randomized controlled trials related to Qingkailing Injection in treatment of viral hepatitis,which were published officially between 1996--2016.Revman 5.3 software was used to conduct Meta-analysis for the effective rate,rate of adverse reaction,the decrease rate of ALT,AST and TBIL of Qingkailing Injection.Meanwhile,subgroup analysis was conducted to the clinical effect of doses [＜ 0.5 mL/(kg · d),0.5-0.67 mL/(kg · d),＞0.67 mL/(kg · d)],treatment courses (≤ 14 d,＞ 14 d),manufacturers (Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory,Shenwei Pharmaceutical Company,Shanxi Taihang Pharmaceutical Company),year (1996 to 2002,2003 to 2009,2010 to 2016).RESULTS Fourteen studies were included according to the criterion.The results of Meta-analysis showed that the total effective rate,the decrease rate of ALT,AST and TBIL in Qingkailing Injection group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Whereas,no significiant differences were found between Qingkailing Injection group and the control group of its rate of adverse reaction (P ＞ 0.05).Subgroup-analysis showed that the effective rate of Qingkailing in doses subgroup,treatment courses subgroup,manufacturers subgroup and year subgroup were significantly higher than those of the control group.CONCLUSION Qingkailing Injection has obvious benefit in the treatment of viral hepatitis,which can reduce the activity of ALT and AST,also can reduce the content of TBIL.But we should pay attention to the prevention of allergic reaction in the clinical use.

To explore the effect of Kaixin Capsule (KC, composed of Radix Panacis Quinquefolii, Radix Astragali, Radix Ophiopogonis, Rhizoma Chuanxiong,Rhizoma Cyperi, etc.) in reconstructing the collagen of non infarct region of left ventricle in rats after myocardial infarction (MI) and to study its mechanism.Seventy rats were allocated to mimic operation group (Group Ⅰ), model group (Group Ⅱ), high dosage KC group (Group Ⅲ), low dosage KC group (Group Ⅳ) and positive control group (Group Ⅴ). Rat models of left ventricle reconstruction were established by the ligation of the main stem of left coronary artery. Three days after modeling, the rats were treated with KC for eight weeks. And then the total collagen content in the myocardium of non infarct region and angiotensin Ⅱ (AngⅡ) and aldosterone (ALD) levels in blood and myocardium were measured by oxyproline hydroxyproline method and radioimmunoassay. The total collagen content was higher in Group Ⅱ than that in Group Ⅰ (P0 05) . [Conclusion]KC can inhibit the production of collagen and increase myocardial compliance and its mechanism may be involved in the regulation of rennin angiotensin aldosterone system.

Swabbing samples were routinely collected from health care workers ( HCW) contacting newborns in Obstetrics Department of our hospital on every Wednesday during January to December 2015. Total 495 samples from nasal vestibule and 483 samples from hands of HCW were collected for bacterial culture.The carrying status of methicillin-resistant staphylococccus aureus ( MRSA) was analyzed.The results showed that the average carrying rate of MRSA in the nasal vestibule was 8.1%(40/495) and that in hands was 5.0(24/483)(χ2 =3.871, P<0.05).The MRSA detection rate of nasal vestibular samples in the second quarter was the highest [12.2%(17/139)], while that of hands samples was highest in the first quarter [ 15.3%( 15/98 ) ] . The study indicates that carrying rate of MRSA in health care workers contacting newborns of our hospital is high , and the training and monitoring should be strengthened among health workers to reduce the MRSA carrying rate .

Objective To investigate the expression of Golgi phosphoprotein 3 (GOLPH3) at protein and mRNA levels in serous epitheial ovarian carcinoma and its significance.Methods The expression of GOLPH3 at protein and mRNA levels were evaluaed by Western blot and Real time RT-PCR,respectively,in 42 cases of serous epithelium ovarian carcinoma,14 cases of benign serous ovarian tumors and 7 cases of normal ovarian epithelium tissues.Results GOLPH3 mRNA was significantly higher from 2.97 to 7.04 fold in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma tissues compared with ovarian serous carcinoma tissues (P ＜ 0.05).There was no positive expression of GOLPH3 protein in normal ovarian epithelium tissues.GOLPH3 protein positive expression rate was higher in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (73.81 ％) than that in ovarian serous carcinoma (35.71％) (P ＜ 0.01).GOLPH3 protein was correlated with the pathologic differentiation (P =0.019),the FIGO stage (P =0.042),and lymphatic metastasis (P =0.000),but was not associated with age (P =0,881).The positive rate and overexpression of GOLPH3 in poor differentiated grade group were higher than that in well and middle differentiated grade group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions GOLPH3 may play an important role on the development of ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma,and may be a potential target of gene therapy.

(P < 0.05 ).Scanning electron microscopy showed that the three-dimensional structure of mix-biofilm in control group was more complex.As real-time PCR showed,after 6-hour culture,the expressions of icaA,fbe,aap,hwp1, als3 and efg1 genes in Farnesol group were down-regulated compared to those in control group and after 24-hour culture the expressions of aap,hwp1,als3 and efg1 genes in Farnesol group were down-regulated compared to those in control group.Conclusion With the intervention by fungal quorum sensing molecules Farnesol,the structure in control group became denser and more complex than that in Farnesol group.This change may have a closer correlation with the down-regulated expressions of als3,hwp1 and efg1 genes,which are related to the formation of Candida albicans biofilms.

To investigate the effect of angiotensin receptor blocker ( ARB ) telmisartan on endoplasmic reticulum stress -related kidney cells apoptosis in diabetic rats.31 male SD rats were divided into 3 groups:normal control group,diabetic group,and telmisartan treated diabetic group.After 12 weeks' experiment,weight,24 h urinary albumin excretion,blood glucose,serum insulin,and serum creatinine were determined.Renal cell apoptosis was examined by using TUNEL; Renal cell endoplasmic reticulum stress signaling pathway molecules glucose regulated protien 78 ( GRP78 ),caspase12,and CHOP were detected with immunohistochemistry and realtime PCR.24 h urine protein and serum creatinine in diabetic group were significantly higher than those in the control group; while body weight and plasma insulin were significantly lower than those in the control group( P＜0.05 ) ;Compared with diabetic group,24 h urinary protein and serum creatinine were decreased significantly in telmisartan treated diabetic group( P＜0.05 ).The apoptosis index of telmisartan treated group was significantly lower than that of diabetic group( P＜0.05 ).Endoplasmic reticulum stress signaling pathway molecules GRP78,caspase12,CHOP protein and mRNA expression in diabetic group were significantly higher than those in control group( P＜0.05 ),as well as in telmisartan treated group( P＜0.05 ).Endoplasmic reticulum stress took part in kidney cell apoptosis of the diabetic rat.Telmisartan possessed a protective effect on endoplasmic reticulum stress-related renal cells apoptosis.

BACKGROUND: Permanent or transient implantation of biomaterials can result in biomaterials-centered infections (BCI) in lung cancer patients.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the relationship between BCI and peripheral blood transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1) in patients with lung cancer.METHODS: A total of 248 lung cancer patients undergoing in vivo intravascular catheter indwelling > 7 days were included.Quantitative method was used for intubation, bacteriological culture and paired blood culture, and API Staph strips were adopted for positive patients. While enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect TGF-β1 levels in the peripheral blood of patients with lung cancer and 75 healthy volunteers as normal controls.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Among the 248 patients, there were 82 BCI-positive cases, and 166 BCI-negative cases.Thirteen patients were confirmed to have catheter-related bloodstream infection. There were 48 Gram-positive bacteria, 24Gram-negative bacilli, and 10 fungal. The levels of TGF-β1 were higher in BCI-positive patients than BCI-negative patients (P < 0.05); the levels of TGF-β1 in the BCI-negative group were higher than those in the normal control group (P < 0.05). For lung cancer patients with nosocomial infection induced BCI, there are various species of pathogenic bacteria, and Gram-positive bacteria are more common. To detect TGF-β1 levels in patients with lung cancer is of significance for early prevention of BCI.
