A series of 29 cases of esophageal stenosis or obstruction caused by chemical burn or malignancy in the cervical or upper thoracic segment were treated by resection, and its continuity was re-established by a vascularized free or pedicled jejunal graft. It was successful in 28 cases, with only one failure. The age of these cases ranged from 4 to 65 years old. Among them, 4 children were between 4 and 6. Sixteen cases of pedicled jejunal grafts had their vessels anastomosed to cervical vessels at the upper end. The lengths of the grafts varied from 40 to 60 cm. In the 13 free jejunal grafts, jejunal blood vessels were anastomosed to the right gastroepiploic vessels and cervical vessels at the lower and upper ends, respectively, to re-establish circulation for long jejunal segments, while for the short jejunal grafts anastomosis was made to the cervical vessels only. The vascularized jejunal patch graft is an effective measure for repairing anastomotic fistula or localized wall defect. A regime of monitoring blood circulation of the jejunal transplant is described.

ObjectiveTo investigate the health status and incidence of alcohol abuse of Xinjiang community residents.MethodsThrough multi-stage random sampling,1992 community residents ( 15-65years old) were assessed using socio-demographic information questionnaire, alcohol use disorders identification test (AUDIT) and self-rated health measurement scale-prior test(SHRMS).Single factor analysis and rank sum test were used to identify the incidence of alcohol abuse, the distribution of different populations, and the self-rated health status of abusers.ResultsTotally 298 cases of alcohol abuse were identified, and accordingly, the prevalence rate of alcohol abuse for general population was 15.1% ( male 26.4%,female 4.8% ).Key factors for alcohol abuse included male,middle-aged,well-educated,at work, administrative work, high income levels and large number of household. The differences among groups were statistical significant.Presumably the workplace population was at high risk of alcohol abuse.Alcohol abusers were significantly worse than general population in self-rated health status(P < 0.01 ),especially in mental health and social health.ConclusionThe incidence of alcohol abuse is relatively high in Xinjiang rcgion, and the problem need more attention.Further survey and early intervention work for highrisk group are advised to achieve the purpose of prevention and control.

Objective:To explore the of short-term psychodynamic psychotherapy on anxiety and depression of gout patients and its influence on well-being index, family function and compliance.Methods:60 gout patients were selected from June 2018 to December 2019 in the outpatient department of rheumatism and immunity department of Dongguan Kanghua Hospital by prospective case-control study. They were randomly divided into control group and treatment group, 30 cases respectively. Both groups were given gout related clinical treatment and routine nursing, and the treatment group was given short-term dynamic orientation psychotherapy. The treatment compliance, the psychological status, well-being index and blood uric acid (UA) level of the two groups were compared before intervention, immediately after intervention and 3 months after intervention. Results:The scores of Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and the generalized anxiety disorder 7-item scale (GAD-7) in the two groups were gradually decreased immediately and 3 months after intervention ( P<0.05), and the scores of well-being index were gradually increased ( P<0.05); Compared with the control group, the scores of PHQ-9 and GAD-7 in the treatment group decreased more significantly ( P<0.05), and the score of well-being index increased more significantly ( P<0.05); The scores of communication, behavior control and total function of family function in the treatment group decreased gradually immediately after intervention and 3 months after intervention ( P<0.05), and were significantly lower than those in the control group ( P<0.05); The level of serum UA in the two groups decreased gradually immediately after intervention and 3 months after intervention ( P<0.05), but there was no significant difference in UA level at each time point between the two groups. The treatment compliance of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group ( P<0.05). Conclusions:The short-term dynamic orientation psychotherapy for gout patients has obvious effect in improving the state of anxiety and depression, improving the index of well-being, family function and treatment compliance.
