Objective To develop an alignment technique based on the movement of body gravity center. Methods As join forces in the system of balance is zero, the position of body gravity center can be calculated by body gravity which is taken from weight sensors, by the special software. Meanwhile, the position of body gravity will be sent to control unit, which can be transformed to driving signal of motor. The sliding table with laser, linked to motor, can make pursuit movement following with body gravity. A precise alignment can be made as the movement of body gravity. The balance function test is also used to make an assistant estimate for the alignment. Results and Conclusion An alignment technique has been developed for the fit of prosthesis and orthotics.

Aim Toinvestigatetheanalgesiceffectsof epidural osthole application on the mechanical allodyn-ia and the ERK/MAPK signaling pathway and the expression of COX-2 mRNA in the spinal dorsal horn. Methods 125adultmaleSDratswererandomizedin-to five groups( n=25 each) :Blank, Sham, NP, Ost and vehicle. At postoperative day 6, 1mg/rat osthole 50 μl was injected epidurally into group Ost and the same volume of vehicle was given into group vehicle. The mechanical pain threshold was measured by 50%MWT at 1 day before operation and the 3 rd,6 th,7 th, 14 th,21 st day after operation. After the measurement of pain threshold on postoperative day 14 , the L4-6 segment of spinal dorsal horn was removed for determi-nation of the expression of ERK, pERK and COX-2 mRNAbyWesternblotandRT-PCR.Results Com-pared with blank group, the mechanical pain threshold was only down-regulated at day 1 after operation in sham group, the expression of pERK and COX-2 mR-NA in sham group showed no significant difference ( P>0. 05 ); the mechanical pain threshold was signifi-cantly down-regulated after operation in NP, Ost and vehicle groups( P<0. 05 ) and the expression of pERK and COX-2 mRNA was significantly increased ( P <0. 05). Compared with vehicle group, the pain thresh-old in Ost group was significantly increased after drug administration( P<0. 05 ) and the expression of pERK and COX-2 mRNA was significantly reduced ( P <0. 05 ) . The expression of ERK showed no significant difference among each group(P>0. 05). The correla-tion analysis on pERK1/2 and COX-2 mRNA revealed the Pearson correlation coefficient was 0 . 878 and 0 . 910 , suggesting a strong positive correlation between pERKandCOX-2mRNA.Conclusions Ostholead-ministrated in the early stage after surgery can alleviate the nucleus pulposus-induced radicular inflammatory pain probably by inhibiting the expression of pERK and COX-2 mRNA in spinal dorsal horn.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate efficacies of three commonly used oral drugs including Berbamine Hydrochloride Tablet (B), Qijiao Shengbai Capsule (Q), and Leucogen Tablet (L) (by single drug, two drugs or three drugs) combined with granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) for treat ment of chemotherapy related leukocytopenia in mice.
METHODSTotally 156 Kunming male mice were divided into the normal control group (A, n=24), the model group (B, n=24), the G-CSF group (C, n =24), the G-CSF+Q group (D, n=12), G-CSF+ B (E, n=12), the G-CSF+L group (F, n=12), the G-CSF + Q + B group (G, n=12), the G-CSF + Q + L group (H, n=12), the G-CSF + L + B group (I, n=12), and the G-CSF + L + Q + B (J, n=12). Mouse models of chemotherapy related leukocytopenia were established by intraperitoneal injection of cyclophosphamide (CTX). A G-CSF group was set up as a positive control. Mice were treated by a single oral drug, a single oral drug combined with G-CSF, and two or three drugs combined with G-CSF respectively, and the death rate calculated. Hemocytes [such as white blood cells (WBC) and its classification, red blood cells (RBC), platelet (PLT), hemoglobin (Hb)] were calculated by hematology analyzer. Mice were anatomized and important organs weighed. Organ indices were calculated.
RESULTSThere was no statistical difference in the mortality rate among all groups (P > 0.05). Compared with Group B, WBC was elevated in all other groups (P < 0.01). WBC and PLT were elevated most in Group J, Hb and RBC were also increased at the same time (P < 0.05, P < 0. 01). Compared with Group B, RBC increased in Group E, F, G, I, and J (P < 0.01); Hb obviously increased in Group C, E, F, H, I, and J (P<0.01). Compared with Group B and D, the promotion of erythroid hematopoiesis by G-CSF could be elevated in any group contained drug B and L (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). The spleen index of model mice could be significantly improved in Group C, D, and G (P < 0.01). The thymus index of model mice could be significantly improved in Group H (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSThe best scheme to treat mice with chemotherapy related leukopenia or decreased three blood series was to administrate three commonly oral drugs combined with G-CSF. Authors speculated that G-CSF and Q might have a certain effect on CTX induced immune inhibition.
