Objective Toinvestigatethecorrelationofsmallvesseldisease(CSVD)causedacute lacunarinfarctionandurinemicroalbumin.Methods Theclinicaldataof136patientswithacutelacunar infarction admitted to the Department of Neurology,Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University from November 2012 to April 2014 were analyzed retrospectively. They were divided into either a CSVD group (n=72)or a cerebral large vessel disease (CLVD)group (n=64)according to their carotid artery color Doppler ultrasound and head magnetic resonance angiography findings. The levels of urinary microalbumin in both groups were observed and compared. SAS 9. 1 software was used to conduct statistic analysis. A Logistic regression analysis was used to determine the independent risk factors for CSVD caused acute lacunarinfarction.Results TheconcentrationofurinemicroalbuminoftheCSVDgroup(22±13mg/L) was significantly lower than (29 ± 14 mg/L)that of the CLVD group. There was significant difference (P<0.05). There was significant difference in the increased urine microalbumin levels between the CSVD group and the CLVD group (P<0. 01). There was an increasing trend for the proportion of patients with urine microalbumin concentration 10- <30 mg/L (56. 9%[41/72])in the CSVD group compared with the CLVD group (26. 6%[17/64]). Logistic regression analysis showed that the slightly increased microalbuminuria was associated with CSVD caused acute lacunar infarction (OR,3. 130,95%CI 1. 481-6.618;P<0.01).Conclusion Theslightlyincreasedmicroalbuminuriaisanindependentriskfactorfor CSVD caused acute lacunar infarction.

OBJECTIVE: To determine the allelic frequency distribution and genetic parameters of nine non-CODIS DNA index systems of the short tandem repeat (STR) loci (D2S1772, D6S1043, D7S3048, D8S1132, D11S2368, D12S391, D13S325, D18S1364, and GATA198B05). METHODS: A total of 353 blood samples were collected, extracted, amplified, and analyzed from unrelated healthy individuals of Han nationality in Hunan Province, China. RESULTS: One hundred and fourteen alleles were observed in the population with corresponding allelic frequencies ranged from 0.001 0 to 0.323 0. For all the nine non-CODIS STR loci, the observed genotypic data showed no significant deviations from the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The Ho, He, PIC, DP, and PE of the studied non-CODIS STR loci ranged from 0.1080 to 0.1950, 0.8050 to 0.8920, 0.7700 to 0.8600, 0.9250 to 0.9660 and 0.6070 to 0.7800, respectively. CONCLUSION Nine non-CODIS STR loci have high degrees of polymorphisms, which may be useful in individual forensic identification and parentage testing in forensic practice.

Objective To investigate the relationship between urinary iodine level and thyroid disease.Methods The study used a case-control design.One hundred and nine patients with thyroid disease from the Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Institute for Endemic Disease Control were selected as case group from 2011 to 2012,and these patients were divided into three groups:Graves's disease (GD) group (n =48),chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis (HT) group(n =34) and thyroid nodules group(n =27).Sixty-two healthy people from the same region were selected as a control group.Urinary iodine was determined using arsenic cerium catalytic spectrophotometry,thyroid autoantibody (TRAb) and thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) was detected using electrochemiluminescence,while iodine absorption rate was measured using thyroid function analyzer,and thyroid volume was measured using type-B ultrasonic method.The relationship between urinary iodine level and patients with thyroid disease was compared with that of control group.Results Urinary iodine levels of patients with GD,HT,thyroid nodules and control groups were 313.95,375.20,220.20 and 196.50 μg/L,respectively.Urinary iodine levels of patients with GD and HT groups were higher than that of control group(Z =3.238,4.275,all P ＜ 0.0125).Urinary iodine level of patients with HT was higher than that of thyroid nodules(Z =3.762,P ＜ 0.0125).Iodine uptakes of GD,HT,thyroid nodules and control groups were (84.20 ± 16.90)％,(23.51 ± 6.72)％,(28.34 ± 8.02)％ and (29.31 ± 8.41)％; TRAbs of patients with GD,HT,thyroid nodules and control groups were (58.57 ± 20.31)％,(2.54± 1.00)％,(2.98 ± 0.83)％ and (3.01 ± 1.21)％; TPOAbs of patients with GD,HT,thyroid nodules and control groups were (117.03 ± 57.21)％,(251.00 ± 98.20)％,(16.81 ± 9.87)％ and (15.00 ± 7.23)％.Iodine uptake,TRAb and TPOAb of GD group were higher than those of control group(P ＜ 0.05).TPOAb of HT group was higher than that of control group(P ＜ 0.05).Urinary iodine levels of GD group and HT group were positively correlated with TPOAb(correlation coefficient were 0.462,0.478 all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Excessive iodine intake is found in patients with GD and HT.Determination of urinary iodine is helpful for individualized iodine supplementation.

In order to established a method for simultaneous determination of isoquercitrin, astragaline, quercetin and kaempferol in Lysimachia clethroides, the ionic liquid 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([HMIM]PF6) methanol was used as the ultrasound-assisted extraction solvent combing with RP-HPLC. A Purospher star RP-C1 column was used with the mobile phase of aceto- nitrile, methanol and 0. 4% phosphate acid by gradient elution at the detection wavelength of 360 nm. The flow rate was 0.7 mL x min(-1), and the column temperature was the room temperature. Under the optimized conditions, the linear ranges were 2.54 x 10(-2)-2. 54, 2.50 x 10(-2)- 2.50, 1.54 x 10(-3)-0.154, 1.49 x 10(-3)-0.149 microg for isoquercitrin, astragaline, quercetin and kaempferol, respectively. The average recoveries of the four constituents were 101.1%, 98.90%, 101.0%, 101.6%, respectively. The method was green, simple, rapid and accurate, and provided a valid method for analysis of isoquercitrin, astragaline, quercetin and kaempferol in L. clethroides.

Postoperative pancreatic leakage remains a persistent problem after pancreaticoduodenectomy.For patients with a soft and nonfibrotic pancreas,double binding continuous hemstitch suture is an optimal method for anastomosis.From January 2011 to June 2012,92 cases of periampullary carcinoma with a soft pancreas underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy,and then a modified technique of pancreaticogastrostomy was performed with 2 continuous hemstitch sutures placed in the mucosal and seromuscular layers of the posterior gastric wall,respectively.The median time for pancreaticogastrostomy was 12 minutes,and only 15 patients had postoperative complications.Two patients developed pancreatic leakage(1 grade A and 1 grade B)postoperatively.Pancreaticogastrostomy with double binding continuous hemstitch sutures is a simple and safe reconstruction procedure for patients with a soft and fragile pancreas who received pancreaticoduodenectomy.

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of transbronchial lung biopsy (TBLB) under virtual bronchoscopic navigation (direct path), endobronchial ultrasonography with a guide sheath (GS) and rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) for solitary pulmonary nodules (SPNs). Methods One hundred and seventy-eight patients who were underwent transbronchial lung biopsy in the Tianjin Medical University General Hospital between January 2015 to December 2016 were retrospectively evaluated. CT images of all patients showed solitary pulmonary nodules surrounded by lung tissue, and ROSE was undergone during the procedure. The patients were divided into conventional (C-TBLB) group, virtual bronchoscopic navigation (VBN) group, endobronchial ultrasonography with a guide sheath (GS) group, and virtual bronchoscopic navigation combined with endobronchial ultrasonography with a guide sheath group (combination) depending on the different devices. The diagnostic yield and the location or the effect of lesion on the diagnostic rate were compared between four groups. The coincidence rate of ROSE and the histopathological findings of TBLB were compared. The value of ROSE for the early diagnosis of disease was further evaluated. Results The diagnostic rates were 32.5％(13/40), 66.7％(24/36), 68.2％(30/44) and 75.8％(44/58) for C-TBLB group, VBN group, GS group and combination group, respectively. There were significant differences in diagnostic rates between C-TBLB group and other tree groups (χ2=8.853, 10.677 and 18.293, P<0.008). But there were no significant differences in diagnostic rates between VBN group, GS group and combination group (P>0.008). The diagnostic rates for peripheral pulmonary nodules were 12.5％ (2/16), 42.9％ (6/14), 40.0％ (4/10) and 75.9％(22/29) in C-TBLB group, VBN group, GS group and combination group. The diagnostic rate was significantly higher in combination group than that of other three groups (χ2=17.434, P<0.05). The result of ROSE was consistent with result of histopathology (Kappa = 0.775, P<0.001). The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and diagnostic accuracy of ROSE during transbronchial biopsy for solitary pulmonary nodules were 90.7％, 87.0％, 86.7％, 90.9％ and 88.8％, respectively. No pneumothorax, hemoptysis or other serious complications were found in patients. Conclusion Virtual bronchoscopic navigation, endobronchial ultrasonography with a guide sheath for solitary pulmonary nodules by transbronchial lung biopsy can improve the diagnostic rate of solitary pulmonary nodules.

Objective To determine whether arsenic has estrogen-like effects,the cell proliferation was measured iil human eervical cancer line(HeLa)in vitro.Methods The HeLa cells were grown in improved RPMI 1640 supplemented respectively with β-estradiol(E2,1 nmol/L),Arsenic trioxide(As2O3,0.5,1.0,5.0 μmol/L),ICI (500 nmol/L),E2(1 nmol/L)+ICI(500 nmol/L),As2O3(1.0 μmol/L)+ICI(500 nmol/L)and control.The growth morphology of HeLa cell was observed under microscope after 72 h.The method of M1Tr was used to study the cell proliferation after 24.48 and 72 h.The technique of flow eytometry was used to measure cell cycle after 48 h. Results HeLa cells in E2 and 0.5 μmoL/L As2O3 treatment were more better growth in morphology than control group.Percentage of HeLa cells proliferation at 24,48,72 h in E2 and 0.5 μmol/L As2O3 treatment were 6.35%, 11.56%,38.33%and 6.35%,8.50%,20.26%respectively.The proliferation effect of HeLa cells was similar in two treatments.The proliferation of HeLa cells were inhibited in other treatments.Compared with control[(41.68± 1.05)%],HeLa cells were promoted go to S phases in E2[(55.72±2.31)%]and 0.5 μmol/L As2O3[(47.82± 1.41)%]treatment.But in other treatments HeLa cells were hold back to S phases.Compared with control,there was a significant differenee(P＜0.05)of cell percentage in S phases in 5.0 μmol/L As2O3[(21.11±4.99)%]and ICI[(20.16±4.76)%]treatments.Conclusion Small amounts of As2O3 impose estrogen.1ike effects and stimulate the proliferation of HeLa cells.

Objective To evaluate the method of detecting antibodies to Bacillus anthracis by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)using crude antigen.Methods The anti-Bacillus anthracis antibody levels in sera of 42 healthy people and 42 patients were detected by indirect ELISA.Standard curve was plotted using the data from positive controls,based on which the relative content of each serum was calculated and compared with the result of rLF.Results The median of antibody's relative content in patient group and healthy people group are 1.19 and 0.24,the differences being statistically significant(uc=7.643,P＜0.05).The result of crude antigen is in concordance with rLF(but not parallel absolutely).Conclusions Crude antigen can distinguish most of patients with healthy population effectively.The results suggested that crude antigen is applicable in anti-Bacillus anthracis antibody surveillance.
