In the present study the effects of electroacupuncture (EA) on substance P (SP), somatostatin (SOM) and serotonin (5-HT) immunoreactivity (IR) of APUD cells and nerve fibers in the pylorus and in the skin of "Zusanli" acupo- int of rats were studied using immunohistochemical technique. OBJECTIVE:To explore the risk factors of antituberculosis drug-induced liver injury,and provide scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of drug-induced liver injury. METHODS:Retrospective analysis was adopted to investigate 410 pa-tients with antituberculosis treatment,single factor and multi-factor Logistic regression analysis were adopted to analyze the risk fac-tor that may induce liver injury in antituberculosis treatment. RESULTS:Single factor regression analysis showed that gender,hepa-titis history and drinking history were associated with drug-induced liver injury,multi-factor regression analysis showed that female (OR=2.320,P=0.021),hepatitis history(OR=4.332,P=0.006),drinking history(OR=4.512,P=0.003) and malnutrition(OR=3.202,P=0.015) were risk factors of antituberculosis drug-induced liver injury,and the degree of danger was drinking history>hepatitis history>malnutrition>female. CONCLUSIONS:The antituberculosis drug-induced liver injury is mainly affected by fe-male,hepatitis history,drinking history and malnutrition,the prevention of drug-induced liver injury based on related risk factors is helpful to improve the clinical symptoms and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.

Tachycardia-induced cardiomyopathy (TIC) is defined as a kind of cardiomyopathy with cardiac dilatation and dysfunction secondary to sustained or recurrent tachyarrhythmia.Myocardial dysfunction can wholly or partially recover after control of the responsible tachyarrhythmia.TIC,a reversible acquired cardiomyopathy with generally benign prognosis,can occur at any age;however,it often proves to be unrecognized by most of pediatricians in clinical practices.Now,the clinical criteria,pathogenesis,characteristics,therapy and prognosis of pediatric TIC were summarized,so as to provide a clinical basis for early recognition and prompt therapy.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the early image alterations of primary liver cancer (PLC) treated by high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU). MethodsA total of 55 PLC patients underwent extracorporeal HIFU ablation. Color Doppler ultrasound, digital substraction angiography (DSA), computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were performed to monitor the therapeutic response.ResultsImage examinations obtained 2 weeks after HIFU ablation showed significant response of PLC. MRI was the best for evaluating HIFU efficacy. Unenhanced MRI revealed signal alterations on both T 1 and T 2 weighted images, and enhanced MRI demonstrated the absence of contrast enhancement in the treated HCC and a thin peripheral rim of enhancement surrounding the coagulation necrosis. ConclusionMRI rapidly assesses HIFU induced complete ablation of HCC, residual viable cancer tissure in treated region, and coagulation extent of HIFU treatment.

Objective To investigate effect of intravitreal injection of FK506 on the survival of human retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells heteroplastically transplanted into the subretinal space of rabbits. Methods The immortalized human RPE cells were genetically labeled by retrovirus vector carrying a green fluorescent protein (GFP). A total of 50 ?l RPE cells suspension with 4?10 3 cells/?l which expressed GFP were injected into the subretinal space of both eyes of 18 white rabbits and 10 gray rabbits. The left eyes of all of the rabbits were injected of 5 ?l FK506 (5 ?g/?l) intravitreally once a week during the first 5 weeks, then once every other week until the 20 th week and the right eyes were as the control. The histological sections of heteroplastic RPE cells were observed by epifluorescent microscope. Results GFP-expressing cells could be seen after 1 week, 2, 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, 14, 18, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 33, and 54 weeks in white rabbits and after 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, 18, 20, and 26 weeks in gray rabbits. The configuration and integrality of the RPE-GFP cells in the left eyes which had been intravitreally injected of FK506 1-14 weeks after transplantation were better than those in the right eyes without injection. After 18 weeks, the condition of heteroplastic cells with few difference in both eyes in 7 white and 3 gray rabbits were found. After 1-6 weeks, focal and disseminated lymphocytes around the choroidal small vessles of right eyes in 6 white and 3 gray rabbits could be seen while the infiltration of the lymphocytes in the left eyes was much reduced. Conclusion Intravitreal injection of a small amount of FK506 at the first 3 months after transplantation may significantly improve the survival of heteroplastic RPE cells in the subretinal space of rabbits.

Cine model,0.5 s/circle ,5 mm in thickness?4,120 kV,60 mA,delayed time 10 s,scan time in all 50 s ,GE 4.2 workstation and perfusion 3 software were used ,the data of creating dynamic picture and the relative informations that image intention changes with time change were analyzed and every parameters related with perfusion were studied and analyzed statistically .Results Blood flow(BF),blood volume(BV),mean transit time(MTT) and permeability surface(PS) were (36.46?17.62)ml?min-1?100 g-1,( 13.76?8.59) ml/100 g,( 28.23?15.75) s and (16.45?12.36) ml?min-1?100 g-1.In cancer group,( 17.35?10.67)ml?min-1?100 g-1,( 4.63?3.47) ml/100 g,( 25.52?12.91) s and ( 3.57?3.36) ml?min-1?100 g-1 in benign lesion group,respectively,there was significant difference between two groups in BF,BV and PS(P

Objective To establish the method for content determination of total flavonoids and polysaccharides in Radix Codonopsis Lanceolatae from Mount Taishan.MethodsThe content of the total flavonoids was determined by UV spectrophotometry and the polysaccharide content was measured with the phenol-sulphuric acid method.ResultsThe optimal detective wavelength was 510nm for the total flavonoids.Satisfactroy linear relationship with the Absorbability was achieved when the mass concentration of rutin was within a range of 8～48?g/ml(r=0.9986).The average recovery rate was 99.31%(RSD=1.82%,n=5).The optimal detective wavelength was 490nm for the polysaccharides.There was good linear relationship between the Absorbability and the content of glucose in a range of 5～50?g/ml(r=0.9964) with an average recovery of 99.12%(RSD=1.49,n=4).ConclusionThis method is sensitive,simple and accurate,and it can be used for the quality control of Radix Codonopsis Lanceolatae from Mount Taishan.
