Objective To research the effects of tianeptine and lithium on expression of pCREB in hippocampus of chronic stress depression rats. Methods All the experimental rats were divided by random into : Group of depression,Group of tianeptine,Group of lithium and Group of control. The rats of Group of depression, Group of tianeptine and Group of lithium were applied stress for 21 days,and meanwhile Group of control had no stress. The rats of Group of tianeptine were fed with tianeptine (50 mg/kg) , Group of lithium were fed with lithium (60 mg/kg) , while another groups were fed with normal sodium of the same volume. The ethology examination was performed by using method of open-field and experiment of fluid consumption. The expression of pCREB was detected by Western-blotting method. Results After the chronic stress,the horizontal crossing numbers,the erection times,the modification times and the percentage of sacchar-consumption of the rats of Group of depression were 23.2±23.0;8. 1 ±7.2; 3.6 ±3.5 and (55.4 ±11.7)% respectively, which were less than Group of control (46.0±18.9;20.3±11.3;8.4±2.7 and (68.5 ±8.2)% ; P＜0.01). The horizontal crossing numbers(28. 1 ±23.0) ,the erection times(12. 1 ± 9.4) and the modification times(5.5 ±3.2) of Group of tianeptine are less than those of Group of control (P ＜ 0. 05), but no significant difference compared with Group of depression; the percentage of sacchar-consumption(62.7 ± 10.6) % ,Group of tianeptine was more than Group of depression (P＜ 0.05 ) , but no obvious difference with Group of control. The horizontal crossing numbers, the erection times, the modification times and the percentage of sacchar-consumption of Group of lithium were less than those of Group of control (P ＜ 0.05), more than those of Group of depression but no significant difference (P ＞ 0.05). In Westernblotting method,the level of pCREB in the hippocampus of Group of depression was less than that of Group of control (P＜ 0.01); that of Group of tianeptine was more than that of Group of depression (P ＜ 0.01) but no obvious difference with Group of control; that of Group of lithium was less than that of Group of control (P＜0. 01) and more than Group of depression (P＜0.01). Conclusion Tianeptine could reverse the reduction of expression of pCREB in hippocampus of chronic stress depression rats and lithium partly did it.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the risk factors of antituberculosis drug-induced liver injury,and provide scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of drug-induced liver injury. METHODS:Retrospective analysis was adopted to investigate 410 pa-tients with antituberculosis treatment,single factor and multi-factor Logistic regression analysis were adopted to analyze the risk fac-tor that may induce liver injury in antituberculosis treatment. RESULTS:Single factor regression analysis showed that gender,hepa-titis history and drinking history were associated with drug-induced liver injury,multi-factor regression analysis showed that female (OR=2.320,P=0.021),hepatitis history(OR=4.332,P=0.006),drinking history(OR=4.512,P=0.003) and malnutrition(OR=3.202,P=0.015) were risk factors of antituberculosis drug-induced liver injury,and the degree of danger was drinking history>hepatitis history>malnutrition>female. CONCLUSIONS:The antituberculosis drug-induced liver injury is mainly affected by fe-male,hepatitis history,drinking history and malnutrition,the prevention of drug-induced liver injury based on related risk factors is helpful to improve the clinical symptoms and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigatc the effects of the HAB/DBP composite in the restoration of restoring bone defects. Methods: The HAB/DBP composiite, HAB or DMB samples were grafted into the defects of rabbit's radii respectively and the samples were examined 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks after operation with general, radiological and histological observations respectively.Results: In the group of HAB/DBP composssite implanted area , mesenchymal cells and new bone stromas were observed assembling 2 weeks after the operation. New bone formation and bone trabeculation were found 4 weeks after transplantation. A lot of bone trabeculation and composite degrad ation were observed 8 weeks after operation. The defects were completely restored 12 weeks after the surgery.Conclusion: The HAB/DBP composite has the properties of osteoconduction and osteoinduction, and its osteogenic ability is similar to that of DMB.

Medical psychology and psychiatry is the obligatory courses for five-year and seven-year medical students. With the rapid changes of society and continuous improvement of medical services , it is necessary to adjust and integrate the teaching content of these two courses. Teaching order of some chapters in the teaching syllabus was not helpful for students to understand the teaching content. Some teaching content was repetitive. Part of the self-study content urgently needs to teach with the development of the society and changes in disease spectrum. After the adjustment , the teaching content of the curricu-lum with strong pertinence was clear and coherent. It improved the teaching efficiency and knowledge of students;therefore, the curriculum is widely praised by the students.

It motivated the nurses to study actively,helped them with knowledge accumulation and innovation,elevated nurses' job identification,optimized team culture construction and increased work efficiency.

Objective To explore applied characteristics of the prolene hernia system(PHS) in inguinal hernioplasty, and management during and after operation, and long-term effect of this kind of hemioplasty in aged patients. Methods 69 aged patients using PHS were followed and analyzed retrospectively. Results Tension-free inguinal hernioplasty with the PHS were performed in 69 aged patients of groin hernia. Operative time ranged from 45min to 160min. Post-operatively, 3 patients developed gentle scrotal swelling, and 20 patients had been adminis- tered anodyne for pain of incision, and 12 cases experienced retention of urine, 1 case developed pneumonia, and 2 cases oeeurred incisional infection and gore. 68 cases of them recovered daily life about 2 to 3 weeks after operation. During follow-up period from 6 months to 77 months,there was no recurrence of inguinal hernia and no pain in in-guinal region, but 2 patients feel discomfort sporadically. Conclusion The PHS strengthens the myopectineal orifice and seals up-area of it,so the system is especially preferred in treating aged patients of groin hernias who have some defectsof anatomic structure in inguinal region. The local anaesthesia is also suitable for this kind of hernioplasty in aged patients.

Objective To research the changes of regional gray matter volumes in first-episode, medication naive females with major depressive disorder. Methods Magnetic resonance imaging and voxel-based mor-phometry were used to compare regional gray matter volumes between 14 medication-naive female participants with a first episode of major depressive disorder ( MDD) ( age( 29. 5 ±6.8) years, number of education years(11.4 ± 2. 7) years, duration of iIIness(5.4 ±5. 2 ) months, H AMD score(27.6 ±5.5)) and 14 female healthy comparison participants (HC) (age(29.5 ±6.9)years,number of education years( 12. 2 ±3. 3)years,HAMD score(2. 1 ± 1.9)). Results Volumes of bilateral anterior cingulate cortex ( ACC) and right amygdala were significantly smaller in the MDD group than those in the HC group. Conclusion These results suggest that volume reductions in ACC and amygdala in females with MDD are present at illness onset.

Background Cataract phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens (IOL) implantation is a primary treatment for cataract.However,tear film stability and ocular surface structure are affected after surgery,especially some cataract patients with diabetes.Researches determined that tear film dysfunction is an important causative factor of dry eye.Objective This study was to investigate the change of tear film after phacoemulsification in cataract patient with diabetes.Methods A non-randomized cases-controlled study was designed.Thirty-six cataract patients with diabetes (54 eyes)and matched 32 patients (40 eyes)with age-related cataract were included in this study in Tianjin First Center Hospital from October,2010 to May,2011.Phacoemulsification and IOL implantation was performed on the all patients with the same topical eyedrops in both groups.Dry eye-related symptom was surveyed and scored by questionnaire,and tear film break-up time (BUT),Schirmer Ⅰ test(S Ⅰ t)and corneal fluorescein(FL) were examined 3 days before operation and 1 day,1 week,1month,3 months after operation.Written informed consent was obtained from each patient before entering this trial.Results The percentage with preoperative symptoms of dry eye was 36.2％ and postoperative dry eye symptoms accounted for 75.8％.Significant differences were seen in dry eye symptom score,FL score,BUT value and S Ⅰ t value between the diabetic cataract group and only cataract group as well as among 4 time points(dry eye symptom score:Fgroup =139.347,P =0.000 ; Ftime =342.741,P =0.000 ; FL score: Fgroup =14.073,P =0.000 ; Ftime =332.697,P =0.000 ; BUT value: Fgroup =28.198,P =0.000 ; Ftime =868.364,P =0.000 ; S Ⅰ t value: Fgroup =2.848,P =0.095 ; Ftime =564.017,P=0.000).FL scores of 2 groups were significantly higher in postoperation than those in preoperation (P＜0.05),and those of diabetic cataract group were significantly higher than only cataract group(P＜0.05),but no significant difference was found between postoperation 3 months and preoperation (P＞0.05).BUT was shorter in postoperation than that in preoperation in the diabetic cataract group(P＜0.05).S Ⅰ t values in postoperative 1 day and 1 week were significantly lower than in preoperation in both groups(P＜0.05).However,S Ⅰ t values returned to normal from 1 month through 3 months in both groups(P＞0.05).Conclusions Tear film dysfunction occurs after operationin cataract patient with type 2 diabetes.It is thought that cataract patient with diabetes is susceptible population of dry eye.Dry eye appears more early and severer in diabetes patients after phacoemulsification combined with IOL implantation.

Background and purpose:miR-124 is considered to be a tumor suppressor in multiple tumors, including lung cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and breast cancer. However, its function is unclear in gastric cancer. This study aimed to explore the expression of miR-124 in human gastric mucosal epithelium cells and different gastric cancer cells, as well as gastric cancer tissues and matched para-cancerous tissues. The correlations of miR-124 expression with gender, age, histological grade, T stage, TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and prognosis of gastric cancer patients were analyzed.Methods:A real-time lfuorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RTFQ-PCR) was employed for detecting the expression of miR-124 in human gastric mucosal epithelium cells and gastric cancer cells. The expression of miR-124 in gastric cancer tissues and matched para-cancerous tissues was detected by in situ hybridization.Results:The RTFQ-PCR results indicated that the expression of miR-124 was down-regulated in MKN-74, MKN-28, MKN-45, MGC-803, SGC-7901 and AGS cells compared to GES-1 cells.In situ hybridization showed that miR-124 was strongly expressed in normal gastric mucosa. However, low expression, focal positive expression or lack of miR-124 expression were observed in gastric cancer tissues. Statistical analysis showed that miR-124 was close-ly correlated to histological stage, TNM stage and node metastasis of gastric cancer patients, but not the age, gender and tumor size. The OS and DFS of the patients with low expression of miR-124 were shorter than that of the patients with high expression of miR-124. Multivariate analysis suggested that miR-124 down-regulation was an independent prog-nostic factor for survival in patients with gastric cancer.Conclusion:miR-124 is down-regulated in gastric cancer cells and tissues. The expression of miR-124 is correlated to histological stage, TNM stage, node metastasis and prognosis.
