Objective To develop the numerical method for the steady and unsteady wet steam condensing flow in turbine stage. Methods An Eulerian/Eulerian numerical model is used to describe the spontaneous condensation flow in the steam turbine. For the steady condensing flow computations, the mixing plane model was used. For the unsteady condensing flow computations, the sliding mesh method was used to simulate the rotor-stator interactions. Results The numerical results showed the obvious differences between non-condensing and condensing flows. The results also showed the unsteadiness effect due to rotor-stator interactions had a deep influence on the formation and growth process of water droplets. Conclusion The numerical methods presented in this paper are valid for the condensing flow in the turbine stage.

Objective In this angiographic trial,we compared the efficacy and safety of Pro-UK with urokinase in Chinese patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods We recruited patients with acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction presented within 6 hours in Beijing Tongren Hospital offiliated to Capital Vnirersity of Medical Sciences from Feb.2003 to Mar.2004.After giving informed consent, patients were assigned a bolus and infusion of Pro-UK or a infusion of urokinase. The primary efficacy end points and safety end points were observed. Results Overall 26 patients were enrolled in the trial,of whom 16 patients were assigned to receive Pro-UK(6 patients to 40mg,6 patients to 50 mg,4 patients to 60 mg),and 10 patients to urokinase. The rates of TIMI grade 3 flow were 56.25%(9/16)with Pro-UK and 70%(7/10) with urokinase(P=0.683),of whom 66.7%(4/6) with 50 mg Pro-UK,75%(3/4)with 60 mg Pro-UK. The rates of TIMI grade 2 or 3 were similar for patients treated with Pro-UK versus urokinase(56.25% and 80%,respectively,P=0.399). All safety end points were similar between the two groups. The level of fibrinogen in blood plasma was significantly higher in Pro-UK group than that in urokinase group, indicating that Pro-UK had higher fibrin-specificity.Conclusion The bolus and 30 minutes infusion of Pro-UK 50 mg and 60 mg was clinically safe and effective thrombolytic regimen, but need further study.

Objective To analyze the expression level of HSP72 and HSP73,the subtypes of HSP70, in peripheral blood lymphocytes from lung carcinoma patients on both basic and heat injury conditions, and to explore the significance of HSP70 in the development of lung cancer. Methods Lung cancer patients were selected'as experimental group, and the health people with similar age, gender, vocational history and inhabi- tation to the experimental group were chosen as control group. The blood lymphocytes from both groups were isolated, cultured and treated with heat injury at either 37℃or 42℃.The expressions of HSP72 and HSP73 in the isolated lymphocytes were determined by Flow Cytometry. Results There were much higher expressions of HSP72 and HSP73 in control group(21.97?2.40 vs 12.77?0.66)than which in experimental group(HSP72 19.0?2.12 vs HSP73 11.74?0.68,P

Objective To compare the effect of percutaneous intraluminal radiofrequency ablation ( RFA ) combined with biliary stenting and that of percutaneous transhepatic puncture combined with biliary stenting .Methods A total of 56 patients with unresectable malignant obstructive jaundice were reviewed retrospectively .Among them, 25 patients had received percutaneous intraluminal RFA combined with biliary stenting ( RFA group) while another 31 patients had been simultaneously selected for the simple biliary stent implantation ( stent group ) .The changes of the serum total bilirubin ( TB) and direct bilirubin ( DB) before and after 7-14 days of treatment , surgical complications , stent median patency and the median survival were observed.Follow-up information was obtained through telephone reviews or check-up records. Results The technical success rate was 100%.No procedure-related peritonitis or perforation occurred .There were respectively 3 cases with cholangeitis in RFA group and 3 in stent group. All the cases was controlled by effective clinical treatment. There was obvious statistically significant difference after treatment in TB and DB in the two groups (P<0.01, P<0.01).TB and DB fell by (149.05 ±110.71) and (96.93 ±69.12)μmol/L after 7-14 days in RFA group vs (151.40 ±94.47) and (94.21 ±67.36)μmol/L in stent group. The changes of the two groups were of no statistical significances .The stent patenmedian time was 122 ( 9 -550 ) and 157 ( 16 -510 ) d, while the median survival was 125(9-550) and 163 ( 16 -520 ) d.The difference was of no statistical significance .Conclusion Percutaneous intraluminal RFA combined with biliary stenting and percutaneous transhepatic puncture combined with biliary stenting are both safe and feasible therapeutic options for unresectable malignant obstructive jaundice .There is no statistically significant diffference between the two groups in the recent and long-term curative effects .

AIM To determine the contents of chemical consituents in Lycii Fructus from Qaidam Basin.METHODS Spectrophotometry was adopted in the content determination of polysaccharides, total flavonoids and carotenoid.HPLC was applied to the content determination of betaine and scopoletin.Kjeldahl method was used for the content determination of protein. Then principal component analysis was performed.RESULTS The contents of carotenoid, betaine and scopoletin in samples from six growing areas showed obvious differences (P < 0.05),while those of polysaccharides, total flavonoids and protein exhibited no obvious differences (P > 0.05).The contents of various constituents in samples at three picking time also had no obvious differences (P > 0.05).The comprehensive score of principal components of samples from Delingha City was the highest, followed by that from Ulan County.CONCLUSION The quality of Lycii Fructus from Qaidam Basin from Delingha City is the best.

Objective To construct recombinant plasmid containing CFP-10 gene of Mycobacterium tuberculosis(MTB).Methods The gene fragment of CFP-10 was amplified by PCR from Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv genomic DNA and cloned to pET-32a(+) vector. The recombinant plasmid pET-32a-CFP-10 was transformed into E.coli BL21 (DE3) and induced by IPTG.Results CFP-10 gene fragment was amplified from genomic DNA of Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv strain, and thepET-32a(+) prokaryotic recombinant plasmid was constructed successfully. The recombinant protein was expressed with the induction of IPTG.Conclusions The prokaryotic expression vector for CFP-10 was successfully constructed and the recombinant protein was highly expressed in E.coli BL21 (DE3),which lays a foundation for its subsequent immunological function study.

An analysis of the fundamental concepts for public hospital reform further defined public hospitals and other hospitals, business and non-business in nature, public benefits and welfare,as well as public benefits and profit-oriented hospitals. These distinctions can help reformers of public hospitals clarify their concepts, make clear the purpose and direction of the public hospitals reform,so as to speed up the reform with theory support.
