1.Adaptive behavior among patients with breast cancer during treatment period: qualitative research
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2011;27(4):11-15
Objective To explore the characteristics and trends of adaptive behavior among patients with breast cancer during the treatment periods. Methods Phenomenological research method was used. 15 women accepted modified radical mastectomy in the Provincial Hospital of Anhui Medical University were interviewed during the whole treatment periods. Results 6 adaptive behavior models were found: over-cautiousness, compliance, escape-avoidance, specific social circles, social re-adaptation and dietary behavior change. These six behavior models dynamicly varied during the treatment trajectory. Conclusions Diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer are strong negative life events, the unalterable trauma of body and the periodic shocks by chemotherapy force patients' self-positioning shifting between "wellness"and "illness"and this shift is the main reason that caused changes of behaviors.

Objective To develop a suicide ideation scale for Chinese military. Methods Based on the analysis of literatures and the established ideation scale, the theory structure of suicide ideation scale was constructed and a scale was developed regarding to the results of specialists evaluation. Then 900 soldiers including navy, army and air force were picked out randomly as samples from a military region. The data Was submitted to factor analysis and to test the reliability and validity of the scale. Results The whole suicide ideation scale Was constitute of three factors, such as despair, depression and optimism.Correlation coefficient between each factor and the total score ranged from 0.679 to 0.913,Correlation coefficient between the scale and Suicidal Possibility Scale Was 0.620,the coefficient of stability was 0.904.the Cronbaeh α of each factor ranged from 0.750~0.894.Conclusion The scale proves to be applicable to Chinese military in evaluating their suicidal ideation.

International Journal of Surgery 2010;37(7):448-450
Objective To evaluate the effects of nutritional support in patients with ERCP.Methods One hundred and fourteen in patients with ERCP From Apr.2003 to Oct.2008 were reviewed retrospectively, and the clinical value and complications of nutritional support were evaluated. Results One hundred fourteen inpatients examined with ERCP,were divided into two groups;parenteral group(re = 46)and electrolytes treatment group(re = 68).There were no significant difference in length of hospital stay and postoperative complications between the two groups.Electrolytes treatment group had lower relevant hospital cost.Sixty-three patients were fasting 12 hours(eating group),and 51 patients were fasting 24 hours(fasting group). There were no significant difference in cost, length of hospital stay, postoperative complications between the two groups. Conclusions The rate of parenteral nutrition in patients with ERCP were relatively higher, the application of parenteral nutrition was unnecessarily overdose;Early enteral nutrition is safe in successful operating patients.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2009;31(2):119-120
Objective To elucidate that AIDS is not equal to any disease of TCM. Methods Previous literatures on differentiating the difference between AIDS and its similar TCM termed diseases as "Fuqiwenbing", "Wendu", and "Xulao" were reviewed and further discussion on the differences was performed by the author. Results Many scholars draw a conclusion that AIDS is not equal to any of TCM diseases or syndromes by their detailed research, comparison and analysis. Conclusion AIDS is not any of TCM termed disease, but it can be treated with the successful experience of TCM in treating other traditional diseases.

Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2008;17(3):193-195
Objective Using apomorphine, a potent dopamine receptor agonist and rotating T-maze, the effect of apomorphine on the visual discrimination learning and reversal learning in rats was investigated. Methods All rats were trained in a visual discrimination task (food reward and light stimulus) in rotating T-maze. After reaching the acquisition criterion, rats were trained in a reversal task (food reward and without light stimulus) in the same maze. During the period of visual discrimination task, apomorphine was administrated either 30 minutes prior to learning or after learning immediately. Results The results showed that apomorphine, which was given either 30 minutes prior to visual discrimination learning or after learning, could impair the acquisition of discrimination learning( 259.20±26.29 and 264.00±16.97, compared to 168.00±16.97 and 163.20±20.08) and apomorphine, which was given only after visual discrimination learning, could impair the acquisition of reversal learning (451.20±39.44 compared to 360.00±29.39). Conclusion The results showed that apomorphine, which was given either 30 minutes prior to visual discrimination learning or after learning, could impair the acquisition of discrimination learning and apomorphine, which was given only after visual discrimination learning, could impair the acquisition of reversal learning.
