By searching the registry information of systematic review regarding acupuncture included before March 31, 2014 in PROSPERO systematic review registry platform, information in the project plan such as care gories of diseases, interventions, research team and the completion status was analyzed to make a comprehensive understanding on registry status of acupuncture systematic review in this platform. As a result, a total of 52 project plans was finally included. The health problem concerned was mainly painrelated diseases, and the interventions were mostly simple acupuncture or combination of acupuncture and moxibustion. The registered plan participated with Chinese team appeared comparatively late, which was featured with fewer independent projects and concentrated research organization, so its scientific research advantage in acupuncture did not present. In conclusion, it is believed that the consciousness on systematic review registry in domestic researchers needs to be improved, and researchers might take good advantages of the PROSPERO platform in the future.

Objective It is to observe the influence of atorvastat on the clinical therapeutic effect in the patients with cerebral infarction and lipid lowering, C-reactive protein level. Methods 60 patients with cerebral infarction are admined by atorvastatin 20mg,orally taking, 1 time per day, course of treatment for 4 weeks. Observing the variation of the high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and concentration of blood fat in the circa about treatment. Results Treatment group's excellence rate is 70.0 %, total effective rate is 86.7 % after 4 weeks' atorvastatin treatment. It obviously outweighs the control group(43.3 % and 66.7 % ) ( P<0.05 ) without evident adverse effect; TC, LDL-C significantly step clown and HDL-C(P<0.05 ) significantly steps up comparing pretherapy. They also obviously outweigh the control group(P<0.05 and P<0.01 ). The blood serum hs-CRP level obviously decreases( P<0.01 ). Conclusion Atorvastat can not only lower the lipid, but also degrade the concentration of CRP.It has significant clinical therapeutic effect while without evident adverse effect. The early use of atorvastatin can prevent and control ischemic cerebrovascular disease preferably. It can also reduce the genesis of cerebrovascular disease and improve the prognosis of cerebrovascular disease.

Objective To study the effect of procyanidin on neural cell apoptosis and the expression of Caspase-3 of cerebral ische-mia reperfusion(I/R) injury in rats. Methods 40 rats were randomly divided into 4 groups, which were sham operated group, I/R group, low dose procyanidin treated group and high dose procyanidin treated group. The focal middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) model was made by suture-occluded method. After MCAO for 90min following 24h of reperfusion, neural cell apoptosis and the expression of caspase-3 was investigated with TUNEL and immunohistochemistry. HE staining and Trc staining was also used. Result Compared with sham opera-ted group, neural cell apoptosis rate and the expression of caspase-3 were increased at the 24th hour of reperfusion in the ischemic territory(P < 0.05) . Compared with I/R group, low and high dose procyanidin treated group reduced expression of caspase-3 and neural cell apopto-sis rate in a dose-dependent manor (P <0.05). The change of ischemic impairment in procyanidin treated group was less than that of I/R group, and the change of high dose procyanidin treated group was less than that of low dose procyanidin treated group. Compared with that of I/R group, cerebral infarction volume of procyanidin treated group was decreased in a dose-dependent manor (P < 0.05). Conclusion Procyanidin may reduce cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injure by reducing expression of caspase-3 and neural cell apoptosis.

Forest musk deer (Moschus berezovskii), a rare wild medicinal animal, is listed under the category of the state key protected wildlife list of China. Musk, secreted by the musk glands, is with high economic and medicinal value and used as precious traditional medicine in China. In order to meet the needs of musk in Chinese traditional medicine, forest musk deer farming was conducted in 1950s, but the research progress on musk secretion mechanism was slow. Therefore, by reviewing the histological and anatomical structure of forest musk deer musk gland, the relationship between sex hormones and the musk secretion process, and the molecular mechanism of the musk secretion, the existing problems in investigating the musk secretion mechanism were analyzed and the development trends in this field were also discussed, in order to provide a reference for further studies on the musk secretion mechanism and improve musk production of forest musk deer.

Forest musk deer is one of the large-scale farming musk deer animals with the largest population at the same time. The male musk deer can secrete valuable medicines, which has high medicinal and economic value. Due to the loss of habitat and indiscriminate hunting, the numbers of wild population specie and the distribution have been drastically reduced. Therefore, in-depth understanding of the molecular genetics progress of forest musk deer will pave a way for musk deer protection and breeding. In this review, the progress associated with the molecular marker, genetic classification, artificial breeding, musk secretion and disease in past decades were reviewed, in order to provide a theoretical basis for subsequent molecular genetic researches in forest musk deer.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2001;18(1):83-84
The author's implantable pulsatile impeller pump can assist the circulation of the calves for several months. The termination of the experiments was related to wear of the mechanical bearing, which resulted in vibration of the rotor and pump failure. It seemedas if the experiments could have lasted inde finitelyif the bearing had not failed. To solve the problem of bearing wear, a specially devised rolling bearing was investigated and applied to the impellerp ump. Its service life is more than 10 years due to the wear-proof roller made of ultra-high-molecular weight polythene. This newly devised impeller heart promises to have long-term and permanent applications. Compared with the magnetic bearing, the rolling bearing has the advantages of simpler construction and control, no consumption of energy, and better reliability.
