Objective:To observe the expression of P70 S6 kinase(P70 S6K) in parotid acinic cell carcinoma. Methods:P70 S6K expression was examined by means of SP immunohistochemical technique and Western blot test in 30 cases of parotid acinic cell carcinoma. Results:Western blot revealed that P70 S6K expression in parotid acinic cell carcinoma was 58% higher than that in normal parotid tissue. Immunohistochemical assay showed that positive expression ratio of P70 S6K in parotid acinic cell carcinoma and in normal parotid tissue was 100.0% and 33.3%(P

Objective To analyze prognostic factors in children with acute myeloid leukemia(AML).Methods Retrospective analyze the relationship between many factors of the diagnosed children with AML and their 3-years event-free survival(EFS).Statistics was analyzed with ?2 test. Results The 3-years EFS was 47.5%.According to the analysis of statistics,EFS of some children groups had statistical differences with their controls (P

A summary of the reform for public hospitals'internal operating mechanism in 17 pilot cities identified its four main patterns, the internal decision-making machanism, human resource management mechanism, compensation allocation system, and business mechanism. It also analyzed the initial outcomes and problems encountered in the reform. On this basis, the authors proposed the direction for the reform pattern in designing the internal operating mechanism for reference of a wholescale reform of public hospitals in China.

369 patients with hypertension living in Xietu community were randomized into 2 groups:intervention group receiving the group-interference-management and control group receiving routine hypertension management services. We found that patients in the intervention group had better self-management behaviors,self-efficacy and health status in comparison with the control group (P<0.05).The systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the intervention group decreased more remarkably than that in the control group (P<0.05).Our result suggested that the community-based hypertension group-interference-management model is more effective to control hypertension than the routine hypertension management services.

Through defining the connotation of division and cooperation among medical institutions, this paper introduces the current status for division and cooperation among medical institutions of Britain, Germany, Singapore and USA. The advantages include excellent general practices, optimal health resource allocation, effective first treat-ment in community health facilities, and effective two-way referral. We analyzed the influence of some new policies on the division and cooperation among medical institutions such as medical association, managed care and the General Practices’ service contract. This provided a lot of experience and revelations, including the dynamics to promote the division and cooperation, the separation of outpatient services and inpatient services, privatization of primary medical institutions, division and cooperation between medical institutions and nursing, rehabilitation institutions, distinguis-hing the division and cooperation from hospitals alliance, and division and cooperation among medical institutions can not resolve the all issues in the medical care supply system.

AIM: To determine the low content of Ophiopogon japonicus saponin metabolite in vivo. METHODS: HPLC-MS method of determining rat's metabolite diosgenin in vivo was established after single-dose oral Ophiopogon japonicus saponin enteric microsphere. RESULTS: The detection limit was about 50 ng/mL,Linearity,precision of intra and inter-day and reproducibility of the method were good. CONCLUSION: This method accords with the analysis requirement. It can give an effective measure and foundation for studying TCM saponin bioavailability.

Objective To explore the immunophenotype of children with acute myeloid leukemia(AML) and its clinical significance. Methods Statistics was used to analyze the relationship between the immunophenotype of AML and their French-American-Britain(FAB) classification, complete remission (CR) in one month and 3-years event-free survival(EFS).Results CR rate was 71.6% and 3-years EFS rate was 50.8%. HLA-DR and CD34 absent mainly in M3, associated with higher CR and EFS rate. So did CD33 negative cases, especially in M2. CD13 positive was significantly predictive factor for achieving CR.Co-expression of lymphoid antigens and NK cell antigens(CD56) with M2 which correlated with lower CR and EFS rate. Conclusions The negative of HLA-DR, CD34, CD33,as well as CD13 positive, have relationship with good prognosis. Lymphoid antigens and CD56 are poor prognostic factors.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of locally administered dexamethasone for prevention of low back pain after labor epidural analgesia. Methods Two hundred nulliparous parturients who required labor epidural analgesia,of ASA physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ,were randomly divided into 2 groups (n =100 each) using a random number table:control group (group C) and dexamethasone group (group D)).In group D,lidocaine 4 ml and dexamethasone 1 ml (5 mg) were injected around the puncture site.In group C,lidocaine 4 ml and normal saline 1 ml were injected around the puncture site.Epidural puncture was performed after local administration.According to the results of epidural puncture, each group was further divided into two subgroups:single puncture group (Cs subgroup,Ds subgroup) and repetitive puncture group (Cr subgroup,Dr subgroup). The patients were followed up for 72 h,and the development of low back pain was recorded. Results Compared to group C,the incidence of low back pain was significantly decreased, and pain was reduced in group D.The incidence of low back pain was significantly lower in Ds group than in Cs group, and in Dr group than in Cr group. Conclusion Locally administered dexamethasone 5 mg is helpful in reducing low back pain after labor epidural anesthesia.
