Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(06):-
Objective To evaluate the effect of tetramethyl pyrazine(TMP)on noise induced hearing loss (NIHL) in hypobaric environment. Methods Normal guinea pigs were randomly divided into two groups, in which the animals were exposed to noise for 1 day or 7 days, respectively. Each group was randomly divided into 3 subgroups: control, TMP-treatment and TMP-pretreatment groups. All animals were exposed to 110dB white noise in hypobaric chamber to repreduce a low pressure environment of 5500m altitude. The mechanism underlying TMP protection was studied by detecting the auditory brainstem response (ABR). Results ABR threshold shift in different degrees occurred in every group, especially in animals exposed to 4kHz. The threshold shifts increased in extent along with prolongation of exposure time. The longer they were exposed, the more ABR threshold shifts. ABR threshold shifts occurred more severely in control group compared with the two TMP-utilized groups. Conclusion TMP has certain protective effect on NIHL in a hypobaric environment.

Pg.The adherence activity of periodontal pathogens to HA was enhanced by Ss and Av.When cultivated with Sm,the adherence activity of Pg was reduced.Periodontal pathogens had no effect on the adherence activity of Sm and Av,and Ss excepted. Conclusion The adherence activity of periodontal pathogens is lower than that of cariogenic bacteria.Periodontal pathogens can utilize early-attached bacteria to become those predominant bacteria in periodontal ecosystem.

Aim To investigate the effects of iptakalim(IPT),a novel K_(ATP) opener,on the functions of endothelin system in human pulmonary artery endothelial cells. Methods Primary cultured human pulmonary artery endothelial cells were incubated with different concentrations iptakalim for 24 h.The levels of ET-1 in medium were observed by radioimmunoassay.Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)was performed to analyze the expression of ET-1 and ECE.Results When endothelial cells were incubated with IPT at concentrations above 10 μmol·L~(-1),the levels of ET-1 release in medium and the levels of ET-1 mRNA were significantly inhibited. When endothelial cells were incubated with IPT at concentrations above 1 μmol·L~(-1),the levels of ECE mRNA were significantly inhibited. Conclusions IPT can inhibit the expression of ET-1 and ECE mRNA from human pulmonary artery endothelial cells, thus it inhibits the secretion of ET-1 from endothelial cells. Iptakalim may serve as a promising candidate drug to treat pulmonary hypertension.

Objective To study the effects of Tan Ⅱ A on the expression of c-Met and HIF-lα in gastric cancer SGC7901 cells under hypoxia and the correlation between c-Met and HIF-lα expression. Methods The model of hypoxia was established by CoCl2. There were three groups; normal control group, hypoxia control group, and hypoxia combined with different concentrations of Tan ⅡA group. After Tan ⅡA was added to the media with 0.5, 2.0 and 10.0 mg/L respectively for 48 h under hypoxia, the expression of HIF-1α and c-Met protein was detected by immunocytochemical staining. Results Immunocytochemical staining revealed that the expression of HIF-1α and c-Met protein was inhibited by Tan ⅡA in a dose-dependent manner under hypoxia. High positive correlation was found between the expression of HIF-1α and c-Met (n = 4, r = 0. 996, P <0.01). Conclusion Tan ⅡA might inhibit the expression of c-Met protein via down-regulation of HIFlα protein expression under hypoxia, suggesting that Tan ⅡA might play an important role in fighting against hypoxia-stimulated invasion and metastasis of tumor.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(19):3870-3872
Professor LU Zhi-zheng, one of the first traditional Chinese medicine masters, is good at using tenuifoliain clinical practice, which often brings unexpected surprises. Lu said, tenuifolia is a mild herbal medicine with the nature of upward dispersion and outward penetration but not dryness. Tenuifolia has the following functions: making people conscious, relieving sore throat, diverging incubated diseases, regulating functional activities of qi, sending up Yang, dispelling wind evil and eliminating dampness, and activating collaterals to relieve pain. When well used, it will not only enhance the effect of monarch drug, but also restrict the impetuosity nature in a prescription, achieving better efficacy.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2012;(7):538-540
The endoscopic findings of 884 cases of colonic polyps with different pathological types were retrospectively analyzed.Among all cases, there were 418 cases of tubular adenoma (47.3% ),92 cases of fluff tubular adenoma ( 10.4% ),334 cases of inflammatory polyps ( 37.8% ) and 40 cases of hyperplastic polyps (4.5% ).There were significant differences in age, location, polyp surface morphology and Yamada grouping among colonic polyps with different pathological types (P <0.05).The average age of fluff tubular adenoma group [ (64 ± 12)y] was the highest among all patients; and the average diameter of polyps was the largest [ ( 1.38 ± 1.09 ) cm ],lobulated and mulbenry, polyps were the most common forms; and the majority of fluff tubular adenoma was Yamada type Ⅲ or Ⅳ.The results indicate that fluff tubular adenoma was associated with higher age, larger polyp size, surface morphology and Yamada grouping (P <0.05).

Objective To evaluate the treatment of acute cholecystitis patients through laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC). Methods 387 cases of acute cholecystitis patients who underwent LC were studied retrospectively . Results Of the 387 cases, there were 359 cases of calculus incarcerated cholecystitis , 152 cases of cholecystitis with acute inflammatory symptoms for 72 h or more, 10 cases were converted to Laparotomy (2.6%).The operations lasted for 30~200 min(63.09 ±26.62 min on average),with blood loss about 10~500 mL(51.41 ±32.41 mL on average),and drainage was adopted in 183 cases. No complications developed fol-lowing the surgeries in 3 to 24 months, indicating a 100% cure rate. Conclusion If with good command of rules and techniques during LC operations , It is both safe and feasible to treat acute cholecystitis patients through LC operations .
