1.Yictims'Serum electrolyte disturbances in sufferers during the Wenchuan earthquake in China
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2009;30(5):442-445
Objective To study the electrolyte disturbances in the sufferers during the Wen-chuan earthquake in China, and investigate their possible pathomechanism. Methods Serum concentra-tions of potassium (K), sodium (Na), chlorine (Cl), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg) and inorganic phosphate (P) were determined in four hundred sufferers. Their values were analyzed via statistical method. Results Significant differences of all determined six electrolytes were observed among various groups. Pearson correlation analysis showed that correlative changes among electrolytes were similar in various groups except the correlation coefficients of Na-Mg in dialysis group (r= 0.066, P = 0.546) and non-dialysis group (r=-0.433, P= 0.044). Multivariate logistic analysis revealed the highest risk factor was K+,which led to crush injury (OR= 28.037, P= 0.000) and crush syndrome (OR=6.434,P=0.000). The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve revealed that K+ was the most specific (specificity: 98.5%; cutoff value: 5.8 mmol/L),Ca2+ was the most sensitive (sensitivity: 81.1%; cutoff value: 1.75 mmol/L) for crush injury diagnosis. The specificity of serum K+ , Mg2+ amd P was comparative in diagnosis of crush syndrome. The sensitivity of Ca2+ was the highest,ac-counting for 75.3%. Conclusion Electrolyte disturbances of suffers occur during a natural disaster; serum electrolyte measurement contributes to correct diagnosis and severity assessment.

To walk out of the difficulty of finding a job,the medical graduates must adjust psychology and have reasonable orientation,be honest and enhance their qualities, seize the opportu-nity and make appropriate choice.
4.DNA methylation in cervical carcinogenisis, diagosis and treatment
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(1):69-72
DNA methylation is a common process of epigenetics, and also is the third mechanism of tumor related gene inactivation. It plays an important role in the development of cervical cancer.Studies show that methylation of p16,FHIT,IGSF and DAPK1 have relationship with cervical cancer, thus they may be a biomarker for the early diagnosis of cervical cancer.Meanwhile, advanced study of cervical cancer related gene methylation provides a new target point for treatment.
5.On Fundamental Features of TCM Psychological Theory of Sun Simiao
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(02):-
As an independent subject, TCM psychology appeared in 1980s, but it could be traced back to the book, the Inner Canon of Huangdi (Huangdineijing) formed in Qin and Han Dynasties. Physicians in the later generations developed TCM psychology based on that occurred in the Inner Canon of Huangdi, which made it became mature gradually, and Sun Simiao was one representative figure among them. The fundamental features of TCM psychological theory of Sun Simiao are summarized here.
6.Analysis of Surgical Technique and Clinical Outcome of Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(02):-
Objective To explore surgical technique and clinical outcome of transabdominal preperitoneal hernia repair(TAPP)and totally extraperitoneal hernia repair(TEP)in inguinal hernia repair.MethodsThe clinical data of 23 patients underwent laparoscopic herniorrhaphy were retrospectively analyzed.Nine patients were underwent TAPP,and 14 patients underwent TEP.ResultsNone of patients was changed to open operation.Only one patient of TEP was changed to TAPP.Average operative time was(82.1?40.6)min.Blood loss was(5.7?3.0)ml.Disruption of peritoneum happened to 2 patients underwent TEP.The rate of postoperative complications was 21.7%(5/23),which included serum swelling(1 case),scrotal emphysema(2 cases),transient neurapraxia in the area of repair(1 case)and urinary retention(1 case). No chronic pain, foreign body sensation and infection were found.Average hospitalization after operation was(4.3?0.9)d.No recurrence was observed during a follow-up period of 1-15 months.ConclusionLaparoscope herniorrhaphy is safe due to lower recurrence and complications. It also has the advantages of slight pain and rapid recovery.

Thyroid carcinoma is the most common endocrine maligancy, and the worldwide incidence has been rising in recent years. Differentiated thyroid carcinoma is the most common thyroid malignancy, which include thyroid papillary carcinoma and follicular thyroid carcinoma, accounting for about 90 percent of thyroid carcinoma incidence. Currently, surgical treatment, iodine radiotherapy and TSH suppressive therapy are the commonly accepted effective treatments for differentiated thyroid carcinoma, and most patients can be cured. But there are still some patients not sensitive to the general treatments, who have lost the treatment of opportunity. Molecular targeted therapy is an agonistic or suppressive treatment for molecular biology targets of malignant tumor, and currently is a frontier research in the field of malignancy treatment. By retrieving and analyzing the related literature of molecular targeted therapy of thyroid carcinoma through PUBMED in the past 5 years, the article introduced the current status of molecular targeted therapy of thyroid carcinoma.
