Pancreatic cancer is one of the most lethal human malignant tumors, and its incidence is rising. Now, its treatment includes surgical resection, chemo - radiotherapy and supplementary treatment. The prognosis of pan-creatic cancer is still dismal. And its one-year survival is low. This article talks about the effect of clinical treatment on quality of life in patients with pancreatic cancer.
3.Precise mechanical analysis on the femoral three-dimensional finite element model constructed based on DICOM data
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(30):5483-5489
BACKGROUND:The finite element model has been developed from two-dimensional model to three-dimensional model, from linear model to nonlinear model. As the advantage of this method in the analysis of mechanical characteristics of the irregular objects, the finite element model has been widely used in the research of orthopedic biomechanics, especial y in the research of hip joint. OBJECTIVE:To analyze the stress state of human femur with finite element analysis method and to investigate a method that can rapidly construct femoral finite element model and precisely analyze the biomechanics. METHODS:Normal male femur was used as specimen for CT scan to obtain cross-sectional images of femur in each slice. Three-dimensional reconstruction was performed with DICOM data and MIMICS software, then the femoral three-dimensional finite element model was established with the finite element analysis ABQUS 6.8 software, and the stress distribution of the model was analyzed under loading condition. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Based on DICOM data, three-dimensional finite element model of femur was constructed more quickly and precisely. The models were divided into 38 636 nodes and 201 422 units. The model included the parts of cortical and cancel ous bone. The biomechanical test results were accorded with the previous results, so the model could objectively reflect the real femur shape and biomechanical behavior with high precision. The Mimics software provided a simpler and effective method for the construction of femur model and improved the efficiency of modeling, and the three-dimensional finite element model based on DICOM data was accurate in shape and can be used for the normal research on biomechanical behavior of femur. The stress distribution analyzed with ABQUS 6.8 software is consistent with the clinical observation.
4.Application of EGFR-TKI in locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2016;43(4):312-314
With the deepening of the lung cancer molecular biology research, small molecular targets antitumor drugs make breakthrough progress, the epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor (EGFR-TKI) is one of the most attention drug.A series studies show that EGFR-TKI can enhance the antitumor activity of ionizing radiation.Therefore,EGFR-TKI combined with radiotherapy alone for poor-risk patients appears survival benefit, but can't ignore the lung toxicity. However, there is a big contro-versy that EGFR-TKI combined with chemoradiotherapy for locally advanced NSCLC.
5.Three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy for postoperative local recurrence or metastasis in colorectal carcinoma
Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology 1992;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate the effects of three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy (3DCRT) on the local control and survival of patients with local recurrence or metastasis in colorectal cancer. Methods Twenty-three patients with local recurrence or metastasis in colorectal cancer were irradiated by 3DCRT. The regimen was: total dose 40-45?Gy, 5-7?Gy/f, 1f/2d. Results Of the 23 patients, 8 achieved CR and 9 PR with a total response rate of 74%(17/23). The overall 1-, 2-and 3-year survival rates were 78%,52% and 30%. Conclusion 3DCRT is able to prolong the survival and improve the life quality of patients with local recurrence or metastasis in colorectal cancer.
6.Effects of ketamine on expression of nitric oxide synthase in medial septal nuclei and vertical diagonal band of rats
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2002;0(05):-
AIM: To explore the effects in different dosage of ketamine on the expression of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) in medial septal nuclei (MS) and vertical diagonal band (VDB) of rats. METHODS: 40 SD rats were randomized into normal control group, normal saline(NS) group, low, middle and high dosage of ketamine(25,50,100 mg?kg~ -1 ,ip) group. Each group was maintained intraperitoneally by given daily dosage once a day for a period up to 7 days. That was done at 2100 hour each night, and by 2 h of the last administration, poured, fixed and sliced were carried out. Method of nicotinamide adenosine dinucleotide phosphate diaphorase (NADPH-d) was used to show the expression of NOS in MS and VDB pars dorsalis and ventro. RESULTS: Compared with normal control and NS group, the number of NOS positive neurons were decreased in MS and VDB pars dorsalis and ventro in ketamine groups. There were statistical meaing in different-dosage groups of ketamine(P
7.HISTOCHEMICAL AND IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL OBRERVATIONS ON HETEROGENEITY IN MAST CELLS OF RAT
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1989;0(S1):-
The heterogeneity is one of the main points in study on the mast cells. In the present paper, the heterogeneity of skin connective mast cells (CTMC) in comparison with that of gastrointestinal mucosal mast cells (MMC) with both toluidine blue staining and immunostaining was studied. The results showed that the CTMC fixed with formaldehyde could be demonstrated with routine toluidine blue staining, whereas the MMC could be demonstrated only with lower pH and prolonged staining duration. In immunostaining almost all of the CTMC showed serotoninimmunoreactivity, and only 10% of the CTMC showed substance P-immunoreactivity; while approximate 35% of the MMC showed serotonin-immunoreacivity and no substance P-immunoreactivity was found. The results indicate that the mast cell heterogeneity may be found in toluidine blue staining as well as in immunostaining.
8.Effect of Cholecystokinine on Nervous System
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2008;0(08):-
Objective To review the biologic characteristics and biologic effect of cholecystokinine (CCK) on the central nervous system. Methods The literatures of recent years on research advancement of cholecystokinine as neurotransmitters/peptides in signal transduction, neuron protection and pain management in the central nervous system are reviewed. Results CCK possesses the ability to suppress the convulsant effects of convulsants. CCK8 is able to reduce the neural damage caused and delay the neural aging. CCK antagonists play an important role in human pain transduction. Conclusion CCK has been proven to be one of the richest neurotransmitters/neuropeptides as well as an important signal factor in the brain, and its important biologic effect is being confirmed.
9.Constructing a quality and efficient marketing chain for medical service
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(05):-
The paper tells how the authors' hospital managed under the circumstances of fierce competition in the medical market to integrate the idea of a marketing chain with medical service, construct a quality and efficient marketing chain for medical service, constantly readjust each part and element of the “chain management” of technical items and service manner, and realize multi layer and multi dimensional network management. The hospital also established a “chain management” framework characterized by “compliance with market laws, customers highest and delivery of quality service”. Setting on itself such high demands as “highest speed, best quality, lowest cost and optimal service”, the hospital did its best to create a strong marketing chain for medical service products, thus providing theoretical basis and practical reform experience for the marketing of medical service products.
10.Effect of BNIP3-induced autophagy in gastric carcinoma
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2014;(12):1730-1733
Aim To study the effect of BNIP3 on hy-poxia-induced autophagic cell death in gastric carcino-ma.Methods The protein levels of BNIP3 and LC3-Ⅱ of 1 8 cases of gastric carcinoma were studied with immunocytochemistry and Western blot analysis be-tween normal and tumor tissues. The expression of LC3-Ⅱ in SGC-7901 cells was assessed while knock-down of BNIP3 by siRNA in CoCl2-induced hypoxia, and the effect of 3-MA was also studied.Cell viability in hypoxia treatment for 48 h was estimated with cell counting kit-8 (CCK8).Results Compared with nor-mal tissues, the protein levels of BNIP3 and LC3-Ⅱwere increased in tumor tissues.BNIP3 siRNA could decrease the expression of LC3-Ⅱ and enhance the cell viability, while inhibition of autophagy could also in-crease the cell viability in SGC-7901 cells.Conclu-sions BNIP3 may play a role in hypoxia-induced cell death in gastric carcinoma, and the possible mecha-nism may be related to the regulation of autophagy.
