Objective To explore the clinical process and prognosis of middle and intermediate uveitis in children and adults.Methods A total of 121 patients with intermediate uveitis admitted to our hospital from January 2012 to December 2014 were enrolled in the study.Among them,there were 67 cases with monocular involvement and 54 cases with binocular involvement;59 cases were children and 62 cases were adults.All subjects were treated with personalized regimen according to the severity of the disease.The treatment effects and prognosis were compared between patients with different ocular involvement,children and adults.Results The total effective rate of treatment in patients with monocular involvement,children,patients with binocular involvement and adults were 92.5％,93.2％,92.6％ and 91.9％,respectively (all P ＞ 0.05).There was no significant difference in acute phase protein and visual acuity between the patients with ocular involvement and children,adults before treatment (all P ＞ 0.05),and there was no significant difference in the indexes between two groups after treatment (all P ＞ 0.05).The acute phase protein in each group after treatment was decreased,and the visual acuity was obviously increased,there were statistical differences before and after treatment (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Individualized treatment regimen for patients with intermediate uveitis can improve the therapeutic effect,control inflammation and improve visual acuity.The curative effect is not significantly related to age and degree of ocular involvement.

The preliminary results of inactivation of model parvovirus M13Mp 18 in plasma by long-waveUVA irradiation combined with psoralen derivatives were described.At 8-MOP concetration of300?g/ml plasma and UVA intensity of 11.5mW/cm~2,the UVA irradiation for 30～120 min couldresult in virus inactivation of 10~(5～9) infectious dose/ml.Quenchers were used to reduce the damage ofUVA to proteins in order to improve the clotting factor recovery after irradiation.2mmol/Lglutathione,or 2mmol/L glutathione with 2 mmol/L mannitol could significantly improve the Frecovery after irradiation.

ObjectiveTo survey the usage of prophylactic antimicrobial agents in type Ⅰ incision surgical operation.MethodsThe data of medication of 140 patients with type Ⅰ incision operation including thyroid surgery,breast surgery and repairing hernia surgery were investigated and statistically analyzed.ResultsThe preventative antibiotics usage in type Ⅰ incision operations was 100％.The frequency ranking of the perioperative antibiotics application was cephamycins ( 116 cases),cephalosporins ( 18 cases) and aminoglycosides ( 8 cases ).127 patients received antibacterials before operation.The total time for medication at least 1 day,up to 4 days.The antibacterials used in single kind and two kinds were 136 cases and 4 cases.ConclusionThe prophylactic use of antimicrobials in patients undergoing type Ⅰ incision operations in this hospital was irrational in the rate of antimicrobials use,choice of drug categories and medication duration,etc.Antibiotic prophylaxis in type Ⅰ incision perioperative should be further strengthened to supervise and management so as to promote rational use.

Objective To investigate the effect of melatonin on serum malondialdehyde (MDA), NF-κB, tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) andβ2-microglobulin (β2-MG) levels in secondary brain damage following intracerebral hemorrhage patients.Methods 90 patients secondary brain damage following intracerebral hemorrhage were divided into experimental group and control group, 45 cases in each group.The control group were given conventional treatment after surgical removal of hematoma, and the experimental group, on the basis of control group, were given melatonin capsule (6 mg melatonin) , orally, once a day, for 2 weeks treatment.The levels of MDA, NF-κB, TNF-αand β2-MG in patients’ serum were detected.Results The MDA, NF-κB, TNF-αand β2-MG levels after treatment significantly decreased compared with before treatment in two groups (all P<0.05), and the above indexes in experimental group significantly decreased compared with control group ( P <0.05 ).Conclusion Melatonin can significantly reduce the levels of MDA, NF-κB, TNF-αand β2-MG levels in brain injury patients with cerebral hemorrhage, and repair brain damage, which has a guiding significance for clinical use.

Objective To study the correlation between human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-DRB1 alleles and anti neutrophil cytoplasmatic antibodies (ANCA) in Han and Uygur ulcerative colitis (UC)patients in Xinjiang region.Methods The serum ANCA was determined by indirect immunofluorescence assay in 62 Uygur UC patients,58 Han UC patients,188 Uygur and 184 Han healthy control individuals.HLA-DRB1 typing was performed by polymerase chain reaction-sequence based typing (PCR-SBT).The allele frequency of HLA-DRB1 was compared in ANCA positive and negative Han and Uygur patients as well as healthy controls.Stratified analysis was performed according to UC clinical type,severity and involvement.SPSS 17.0 software was applied for x2 test.Once P＜0.05,the odds ratio (OR) and 95％ confidence intervals (95％CI) was calculated.Results The positive rate of ANCA in Uygur UC patients (53.2％,33/62) was significantly higher than that of Han patients (34.5％,20/58) and the difference was statistically significant (x2=4.269,P =0.045).In Uygur,the gene frequency of HLA-DRB1 * 13 in ANCA positive UC patients (0.202)was significantly higher than that of ANCA negative patients (0.017) (x2 =10.092,P=0.016,OR=16.000,95％CI:2.892 to 88.524) and healthy controls (0.075) (x2=9.351,P＝0.040,OR=3.407,95％CI:1.666 to 6.971).The gene frequency of HLA-DRB1 * 13 in ANCA positive pancolitis type UC patients (9/15) was significantly higher than that of ANCA negative pancolitis type UC patients (1/14) and the difference was statistically significant (x2=8.955,P =0.040,OR =19.500,95％CI:2.787 to 136.461).However,in Han patients,there were no significant differences of HLA-DRB1 alleles frequencies among ANCA positive patients,ANCA negative patients and healthy controls (all P＞0.05),and the results of stratified analysis were same.Conclusions In Uygur UC patients of Xinjiang region,HLA-DRB1 * 13 may correlated with ANCA and with ANCA of pancolitis type UC patients.There is no such correlation in Han patients of Xinjiang region.

Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) of cancer can enhance the abilities of invasion and metastasis of cancer cells,which is one of the reasons for treatment failure.Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ) is an important regulatory factor in EMT of cancer cells.Recent researches show that activation of PPARγplays a role in the occurrence and development of EMT by regulating the E-cadherin,Smad complex and body microenvironment.Therefore,in-depth research for the relationship among PPARγ,EMT and cancer is expected to provide a new direction for tumor treatment.

Objective To investigate the opening－ up rehabilitation to the inpatients with chronic schizophrenia .Methods We carried out the rehabilitation opening－ up in the hospital to 40 inpatients with chronic schizophrenia from 1990 to 1995. We regulated carefully , respected the personality and lawful rights of the patients , set up the equality between the medical staff and patients , evaluated according to their achievements, took the keeping－ watch nursery to the patients with severe condition .No accident happened in the study. Results The social function and negative symptoms of most patients improved greatly. Medicine treatment with maintenance dosage is the basic grantee of the safe rehabilitation . The treatment of working can let the patients regain the skill of working and study .The treatment of entertainment can relaxed ,dredged their emotion and stimulated them .The treatment of reading can increase the knowledge of patients .The patients can recognize and solve their own problems by reading. So, it has educational function. The individual or group psychological therapy can eradicate the disturbance of psychology and emotion of the patients .Conclusions It is effective by carrying out rehabilitation opening－ up in the hospital to the inpatients with chronic schizophrenia .

Pancreatitis is a common complication of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography( ERCP). Patient selection and risk factors assessment are critical elements for preventing post-ERCP pancreatitis(PEP). Pancreatic stent plays a role in prevention of PEP,but with limitations. Rectal administration of NSAIDs is an effective way to reduce the incidence of PEP. Effect of other drugs for preventing PEP is unclear. This article reviewed the advances in study on PEP.

Objective Toinvestigatetheriskfactorsforthedevelopmentofpost-endoscopicretrogradecholangiopancreatographypancrea-titisandhyperamylasemia(PEPH)afterendoscopicretrogradecholangiopancreatography(ERCP).Methods Theclinicaldataof233pa-tients who underwent therapeutic ERCP from January 2012 to December 2014 in our hospital and met the inclusion criteria were analyzed ret-rospectively.Basic information including age,sex,drinking history,single stone,triglyceride,and nationality was extracted,and detailed information on intraoperative procedure,intraoperative diagnosis,and complications for ERCP was carefully recorded.Chi-square test was applied for comparison of categorical data between groups,and Logistic regression analysis were applied to determine the risk factors for the developmentofPEPH.Results TheincidenceofPEPHwas26.6%(62/233).Univariateanalysisshowedthatfemalesex(χ2=3.320, P=0.045),drinking history (χ2 =6.108,P=0.010),common bile duct stenosis (χ2 =5.767,P=0.012),single stone (χ2 =9.121, P=0.020),juxta-ampullary duodenal diverticula (χ2 =28.170,P<0.001),and abnormal triglyceride (χ2 =54.717,P<0.001) might be the risk factors for PEPH,and these factors differed significantly between the two groups.Multivariate analysis showed that female sex (OR=1.616,P=0.025)drinking history (OR=2.360,P=0.010),common bile duct stenosis (OR=2.163,P=0.012),juxta-ampullary duodenal diverticula (OR=5.502,P<0.001),and abnormal triglyceride (OR=12.924,P<0.001)were independent risk fac-torsforPEPH.Conclusion Femalesex,drinkinghistory,commonbileductstenosis,juxta-ampullaryduodenaldiverticula,andabnor-mal triglyceride are independent risk factors for PEPH,and targeted preventive measures for such high-risk populations can effectively re-duce the incidence of PEPH.
