Objective To investigate the causes of acute intestinal obstruction aquired operation and to summer our diagnostic and therapeutic experience.Method Retrospective study was undertaken. Results Operations were performed on total 69 patients with acute intenstinal obstruction without perioperative death. Most common causes were malignant tumors 23 (33%), adhension 17(25%).The diagnosis mainly depend on typical history, physical examination and plain abdominal radiographs(in 90% patients) while sonography and CT were helpful in 30% patients. Laparotomy was performed on 56 cases after failure of conservative therapy including traditional medicine. Main operations included enterolysis in 18 cases, enterectomy in 14, colonstomy in 9, colonectomy in 13, enterolithotomy in 6.Conclusion Among numerous causes of acute intenstinal obstruction, malignant tumors and adhensions appear to be the most common initial diseases. Typical data from history, physical examination and plain abdominal radiographs are keys to diagnosis and treatment of acute intenstinal obstruction. CT and Sonography are valuable diagnostic procedures in some patients. Active laparotomy and appropriate operation should be considered if conservative therapy has not succeed.
2. Comparative study on ghrelin level change and its related factors in hypertensive elders with psychological distress
Academic Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University 2010;22(3):192-197
Objective: To investigate the change of plasma ghrelin level and explore the related factors of ghrelin alteration in elderly hypertensive patients with psychological distress. Methods: A total of 300 elders, who were screened with Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HAMD), and the Symptom Checklist-90 (SCL-90) for psychological stress and somato-psychological manifestations respectively, were divided into hypertension group (n = 148) and non-hypertension group (n = 152). Their blood samples were collected to measure the plasma level of ghrelin and total cortisol on the same day. Results: The incidences of anxiety and depression were 27.7 % and 11.7 %, respectively, in all the enrolled elders. However, the rates of psychological distress, particularly anxiety, were significantly higher in the hypertensive elders than in the non-hypertensive ones (43.2 % vs. 12.5 %). Anxiety was positively related to the cortisol level but negatively related to the plasma ghrelin level, and the latter two were negatively correlated with each other. Conclusion: Chronic increase of plasma cortisol induced by long-term anxiety can lead to the reduction of ghrelin level, which then adversely affects blood pressure in elders with psychological distress. Therefore, ghrelin might be a selective antihypertensive medicine for hypertensive elders with anxiety.

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1982;0(02):-
Fresh healthy human erythrocytes were treated by four kinds of bile acid solutions (DC, GDC, C, and GC) at physiological and pathological concentrations of human plasma, and the membrane proteins, enzyme activities and permeability of cations were observed. The results showed that some components of the membrane cytoskeleton proteins disappeared, the activities of total ATPase and Gr-ATPase were distinctly increased with the increasing of bile acid concentrations, the activity of the membrane acetylcholinesterase was decreased with the increasing bile acid concentrations, the permeability of cations was increased with the increasing bile acid concentrations. The effect of the dihydroxy bile acids more stronger than that of the trihydroxy bile acids.

International Eye Science 2016;16(6):1132-1134
? AIM: To investigate the differences between synoptophore and triple prism strabismometry and its possible cause.?METHODS: There were 347 patients with horizontal concomitant strabismus involved, in which 76 patients were esotropia, 37 patients were male while 39 were female, with average age of 13. 27 ± 7. 77 years old. There were 271 patients with exotropia, 131 cases were male while 140 were female, with average age of 15. 43 ± 8. 42 years old. All the patients were examined by synoptophore and prism plus shaded strabismometry in a long distance of 6m. Datas were analyzed by SPSS 17. 0.?RESULTS:In the exotropia patients, the conversions of circular degree(°) and prism degree(△) were:1°=0. 29△ ~1. 78△, which was statistically significant with intermittent strabismus (P=0. 001). While in the esotropia patients, the conversions were:1°=2. 01△ ~2. 15△.?CONCLUSION: The diversity between the two methods is enlarged with the increase of squint angle for exotropia patients. While in esotropia patients, the diversity decreased with the increase of squint angle. Synoptophore equipped with +7. 00D, defects of the triple prism itself and proximal convergence during exam may be the reasons for the diversity.
