1.Contrast-enhanced ultrasound in diagnosis of pancreatic tumors
Journal of International Oncology 2008;35(7):530-532
Contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)can afford more information of the vascularization of pancreatic tumors.Adenocarcinomas are often hypovascularized as compared with surrounding tissue, while neuroendocrine tumors are hypervascularized lesions. The most common enhancement pattern of masses associated with pancreatitis ale isovascularizatiom CEUS can improve the diagnosis and differential diagnosis ability in pancreatic tumors. The clinical application value of CEUS is significant.
2.Ikaros and childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(6):558-560
Ikaros is a transcriptional factor playing an essential role in lymphoid lineage development and differentiation. Ikaros gene deletions occur in some acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) patients, and the most common type of abnormality is overexpression of dominant negative isoforms 6 (Ik6). Deletion of Ikaros gene has an independent association with a very poor outcome in B-cell-progenitor ALL. A new subtype of ALL characterized by the deletion of Ikaros and poor outcome has been identified by researchers, and named BCR/ABL1 like ALL.We can conclude that Ikaros may play an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric ALL.
3.Evaluation of indirect MR lymphography in diagnosis of lymph node metastasis in cervical carcinoma
China Medical Equipment 2015;(3):76-77,78
Objective:To evaluate magnetic resonance (MR) indirect lymphography for lymph node metastasis of cervical cancer diagnosis value. Methods: One hundred and eight cases of the 2009-2013 hospital admission of patients with cervical cancer, magnetic resonance indirect lymphography for sentinel lymph node imaging, pelvic lymph drainage situation of observation, the patients underwent total hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy. Results: The experimental results show that interstitial magnetic resonance lymphography judgment patients with cervical cancer lymphmetastasis accuracy was 96.30% (104/108), the sensitivity was 78.95% (15/19), no significant difference with the pathological examination results (t=0.89,P>0.05). The determination of interstitial magnetic resonance lymphography for lymph node metastasis of uterine cervix cancer prediction accuracy rate is high, play an important role in the preoperative diagnosis of uterine cervical cancer. Conclusion:MR indirect lymphography for cervical cancer patients can appear pelvic draining lymph node anatomy, regional lymphatic, and evaluation of sentinel lymph node status and diagnosis of cervical cancer with lymph node metastasis or not is feasible and effective.

6.Effect of sevoflurane on learning and memory function and apoptosis of hippocampus in infant rats
Chinese Journal of Immunology 2017;33(2):201-205
Objective:To explore the effect of sevoflurane on learning and memory function and apoptosis of hippocampus in infant rats. Methods:100 SD rats aged 6-8 days were randomly divided into 5 groups(n=20),the group Ⅰinhaled 3% sevoflurane and 25% oxygen for 2 hours;the groupⅡinhaled only 25% oxygen for 2 hours;the groupⅢinhaled 3% sevoflurane and 25% oxygen for 2 hours on the 6th,7th,8th day after birth;the group Ⅳ inhaled 25% oxygen for 2 hours on the 6th,7th,8th day after birth;groupⅤ were just put into the anesthetized box without any treatment. When the rats were grown up to 16-21 days after anesthesia, the effect of learning and memory function were assessed by Morris water maze test, and activity of caspase-3 were detected by Western blot, the apoptosis of hippocampus were detected by tunnel. Results:①Compared to groupⅣ,the mean escape lantency of groupⅠshowed no significant changes(P>0. 05),while group Ⅲ was significant longer (P<0. 05),which was significant different from other groups(P<0. 05).②In the space exploration experiment, there was no difference between group Ⅰ and Ⅳ,but compared to group Ⅰ and other groups, the number of cross platform of groupⅢwas decreased (P<0. 05).③The swimming speed of groupⅢwas significantly slower than the other groups.④Compared to group Ⅳ,the activity of caspase-3 slightly increased in group Ⅰ,and significantly increased in group Ⅲ( P<0. 05 ) . ⑤The positive cells in hippocampus stained by TUNEL in group Ⅲ was significant increased ( P<0. 05 ) . Conclusion:Learning and memory function of infant rats aged 6-8 days are impaired after three exposures to sevoflurane when they grow up to 16-21 days, and this may relate to the apoptosis of hippocampus.
7.Clinical analysis of severe hand-foot-mouth disease complicated with cardiopulmonary failure in 321 children
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2017;35(4):264-267
Objective To analyze the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of severe hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD) complicated with heart failure in children, and to explore the risk factors of severe complications. Method The clinical data of children with HFMD admitted from January 2014 to December 2014 were retrospectively analyzed and their HFMD was at clinical stage 2 or over. Results There were totally 321 cases of severe HFMD, in which common group (clinical stage 2) had 306 cases and cardiopulmonary failure group (clinical stage 3 or 4) had 15 cases. There was no death in common group, while 7 cases died in cardiopulmonary failure group, and there was statistical difference (P<0.001). The median age in cardiopulmonary failure group was 9 months (6-20 months), which was lower than that in common group (median age of 24-month-old, 3 months to 12 years) and there was statistical difference (P<0.01). The peak temperature and fever duration were (39.44±0.23)℃, (5.01±0.94) d respectively in cardiopulmonary failure group, both of which were higher than peak temperature of (39.12 ±0.20)℃ and fever duration of (3.93 ± 0.47) d in common group, and the differences were significant (P all<0.05). The incidences of vomit, disturbance of consciousness, peripheral circulation, respiratory rhythm irregular and pneumonedema in cardiopulmonary failure group were higher than those in common group, and there were statistically significant differences (P all<0.001). The positive rate of human enterovirus 71 (EV71) in cardiopulmonary failure group was 85.7%, which was higher than that in common group, and there was significant difference (P<0.01). The levels of N terminal brain natriuretic peptide (NT-pro BNP) in cardiopulmonary failure group were all increased (100%), the rate of which was higher than that in common group (35.3%), and there was significant difference (P<0.001). Conclusion For children with HFMD, vomiting, consciousness disorders, circulatory disorders, respiratory rhythm disorders, EV71 positive and elevated levels of NT-pro BNP were risk factors of cardiopulmonary failure, and disease changes should be closely monitored.
