Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2015;28(1):94-98
Bibliometrical method was used in this article to analyze the publications in a hospital from 2004 to 2013.Results show that the number of publications increased during 8 years, and the quality has been improved consistently. However, the rate of clinician participation in research and the present of core authors were still on the lower side.Besides, the age structure of core authors is steady and lack of growth.Based on this analysis,we summarized the past experience and explored the strategies of research management.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2013;33(8):972-974
Objective To evaluate the correlation between Narcotrend index (NI) and the depth of anesthesia during inhalation anesthesia with sevoflurane and compare NI with BIS values in patients. Methods Sixtytwo ASA physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients, aged 25-60 yr,weighing 44-100kg,scheduled for elective surgeries under general anesthesia, were enrolled in the study.Sevoflurane inhalation was started at 5 min after endotracheal intubation. When the end-tidal concentration of sevoflurane (ETsevo) reached 0.6%,0.9%,1.3%,1.6%,2.1%,2.4%,2.9%,3.2%,3.8% and 4.2%,NI and BIS values were recorded simultaneously. Results The correlation coefficients between ETsevo and NI and BIS values were-0.627 (r1) and-0.669 (r2) respectively when ETsevo < 2.9%,and-0.608 (r3) and-0.230 (r4) respectively when 2.9% ≤ ETsevo ≤4.2% (P < 0.01).Comparison of the absolute value of correlation coefficients:no significant difference was found between r1,r2 and r3 (P > 0.05) ; r1,r2 and r3 were significantly greater than r4 (P < 0.01).Conclusion When ETsevo 4.2%,NI values can accurately reflect the depth of anesthesia; when 2.9% ≤ ETsevo ≤4.2%,the accuracy of NI values in monitoring the depth of anesthesia is superior to that of BIS values.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2012;(12):1005-1011
Objective To research the functional role of thyroidal motilin and the effects of electric excitation of the paraventricular nuclei(PVN) on gastric motility and the levels of motilin in thyroid and plasma. Methods The expression of motilin in rat and human thyroid was detected by immunofluorescence staining.A phase Ⅲ-like contraction was recorded before and after thyroidectomy and after PVN excitation. The changes in concentrations of plasma FT3,FT4 and motilin were determined via radioimmunoassay (RIA).c-Fos expression of PVN after thyroidectomy and motilin expression in thyroid after PVN excitation were observed by immunohistochemical staining. Results There were motilin immunoreactive cells in rat and human thyroid. The phase Ⅲ-like contraction and concentration of motilin in plasma decreased significantly when measured on the second and fourth days after thyroidectomy(2d,P<0.01 ;4d,P<0.05).The expression of c-Fos in PVN after thyroidectomy was significantly increased(P<0.05).An electric excitation of PVN could increase the concentration of motilin in plasma and thyroid and increase corresponding gastric motility in rats (P <0.05).The increased phase Ⅲ-like contraction by PVN excitation could be partially inhibited by administration of motilin receptor antagonist,GM-109 (P<0.05).Excitation of PVN in thyroidectomized rats resulted in lower plasma motilin and less intense phase Ⅲ-like contraction of stomach,as compared with the sham operated control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Motilin from the thyroid may be secreted into the peripheral plasma to affect gastric motility and PVN may modulate gastric motility and motilin expression in the thyroid.

RNA interference (RNAi) is a newly developed technology. It is the different levels of gene silencing induced by specific degradation of targeted genes in vivo, and both exogenous and endogenous double-stranded RNAs could induce the specific degradation. RNAi has been applied in tumor therapy, viral infection, hepatitis B and many other diseases. siRNA is the effector molecule which induces the RNAi in vivo. But naked siRNA is easily degradated by RNases in vivo, and the half-life is short. Meanwhile, the transfection efficiency of the naked siRNA is comparatively low. So the naked siRNA needs the help of vectors to penetrate the cell membrane and take action. Viral vectors have the potential immunogenicity and mutagenicity in gene therapy. Therefore, non-viral vectors are drawing more and more attention. The latest development of the non-viral vectors is summarized in this review.

Objective To explore the positive effects of dancing train to self-esteem and social function in chronic schizophrenia patients. Methods By random sampling,40 male and 40 female chronic schizophrenic inpatients with dancing train were enrolled as the research group in our study training.According to gender, age, education, diagnosis, hospital stays and other factors,80 inpatients without dancing train were enrolled as the control group by paired choice. Both groups were evaluated with Self-esteem Scales (SES) and Scales of Social Practice of Inpatients (SSPI) at pre-and post-training.Results Comparison between the research group and control group showed that it had no significant difference between every value of scales in male and female before training; after training the research group's every indicants was better than that of the control group, and there were significant differences.Compared between pre-and post-training,the research group had significant differences but the control group did not. Before training,no significant differences between male and female of the research group.Compared with male inpatients, females achieved significantly better scores in SES,SSPI and 2 items of daily living and positive social communication after dancing train for 8 weeks. There were significant differences between male and female inpatients in SES,SSPI and 3 items of SSPI at pre-and post-train.Conclusions Dancing train can be effective to the residue symptoms in schizophrenic patients and improve social function and self-esteem of male and female inpatients.

OBJECTIVE:To improve the work quality in Pharmacy intravenous admixture service(PIVAS). METHODS:The major working links of PIVAS(labeling and drug admixture)were optimized, the work efficiency and error before and after optimi-zation were compared. RESULTS:The work efficiency was improved and error was decreased by adding logo and adjusting work range of personnel when labeling and improving distribution principles of drugs to be allocated in horizontal laminar flow table when drug admixture;compared with before, the labeling time for each bag decreased from(2.69±0.17)s to(2.19±0.08)s,to-tal time for admixture decreased from (104 ± 2) min to (83 ± 2) min, error rate of drug admixture decreased from 0.34% to 0.16%. CONCLUSIONS:The optimized work flow had improved the work quality of PIVAS.

Objective To investigate the milieu-dependent differentiation of primordial germ cells(PEGs) in the acute damaged liver microenviroment. Methods After PGCs were cultured and proliferated, these cells were labelled with 5-bromo-2-deoxyuridine(BrdU),then transplanted into the acute damaged liver by CCl_4 through tail vein. Two and four weeks later, the liver was extracted and 10?m-cryostat continuous sections were obtained. The existing and differentiation of the transplanted cells were identified by immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence double staining and histochemistry for BrdU and hepatic-specific ALB,and the glycogen. Results Transplanted PGCs were found to be incorporated into the acute damaged liver and differentiated into hepatocytes, compensating for acute liver failure. Conclusion PGCs can be induced to differentiate into hepatocytes in the acute damaged liver microenvironment, and can be used for cellular hepatoplasty to treat severe liver disease.
