The cultural development needs of contemporary college students generally are displayed as varied contents,rich types and distinctive characteristics.Students in military medical universities shoulder the responsibilities of both soldiers and medical students,their cultural development needs are often in contradiction to military culture,thus bringing challenges to the culture construction in military medical universities.By introducing activities from civilians and soldiers,constructing hidden cultural platforms,improving hardware facilities and other innovative methods,we can actively guide students' ideological direction and play a better culturally educational function of military schools.

Objective To construct yeast cDNA expression library of human dermal papillae cells (DPCs) in primary culture.Methods Human dermal papilla cells (DPCs) were isolated by two-step digestion method and cultured in DMEM medium.Total RNA was extracted from primary DPCs that exhibited an aggregative behavior in culture,then,cDNA was synthesized and amplified by using CloneMinerTM cDNA Library Construction kit to construct primary cDNA library and yeast cDNA expression libary.Results The average titer and total clones were 7.0×106 colony forming units(cfu)/ml and 1.4×107 cfu respectively in the primary library,5.5×106 cfu/ml and 1.1×107 cfu respectively in the yeast expression library.The average insert size Was 1.2 kb and the recombination rate was above 95%.Conclusions The yeast cDNA expression library of DPCs in primary culture has been successfully constructed.which will lay a foundation for screening proteins interacting with HSPC016 gene in DPCs with yeast two-hybrid system.

Objective To evaluate the appropriateness of hospitalization days at a tertiary hospital in 2014 by means of the Appropriateness Evaluation Protocol ( AEP ) , and to analyze the causes of inappropriate stays. Methods Medical records of inpatients admitted at a tertiary hospital in 2014 were randomly selected. AEP( US version) was used to evaluate the appropriateness of every hospitalization day, while the causes of inappropriate hospitalization day were also analyzed. Results A total of 1 641 days of stay from 148 medical records were reviewed, and 129 days of stay (7. 9%) were seen as inappropriate. Two major factors for inappropriate stays were waiting for surgery and waiting for test, roughly 89. 1% of the inappropriate hospitalization days. The proportion of inappropriate hospital stays reduced to 4. 8% after adjustment of two-day weekend. Inappropriate hospital stays mostly appeared during the second day to the eighth day after admission(93. 8%). Logistic analysis results showed that with concomitant symptoms, preoperative waiting days > 5 days, high level surgery, non-emergency admission were significantly associated with appropriateness of hospital stays (P<0. 05). Conclusions The rate of inappropriate stays will be reduced and the quality of medical services will be improved if comprehensive measures could be carried out according to the causes of inappropriate stays.

Objective To investigate and compare the effect of orally or intranasally administered borneol on ketamine‐mid‐azolam anesthesia anesthetized rats′regained consciousness and cognitive functions .Methods The rats were trained to escape laten‐cy and divided into 6 groups:control group ,model group ,low dose oral borneol group ,high dose group oral borneol group ,low dose intranasal borneol group and high dose intranasal borneol group ,16 rats in each group .All groups were given general anesthesia ,be‐side the control group .The reflex recovery time ,blood gas analysis ,escape latency and space exploration capability were recorded and compared within groups .Results Compared with the control group ,PaCO2 ,P(A‐a)DO2 and latent escape time increased (P<0 .05) ,pH ,PaO2 and times of platform across decreased in the model group (P<0 .05) .Compared with the model group ,the righ‐ting reflex test time ,times of platform across and latent escape time decreased (P<0 .05) ,blood gas analysis improved (P<0 .05) in intranasal borneol groups and oral borneol groups .The righting reflex test time ,blood gas analysis and times of platform across had no significantly differences within borneol oral groups(P> 0 .05) .Compared with low dose oral borneol group ,latent escape time decreased in high dose oral borneol group (P<0 .05) .Compared with borneol oral groups ,the righting reflex test time ,times of platform across and latent escape time decreased (P< 0 .05) ,blood gas analysis improved (P< 0 .05) in intranasal borneol groups .Compared with low dose intranasal borneol group ,the righting reflex test time and latent escape time decreased (P<0 .05) , blood gas analysis improved (P<0 .05) in high dose intranasal borneol group .Conclusion Intranasal borneol could reduce righting reflex test time and improve cognitive function by improving the blood gas analysis .

Genotypes of estrogen receptor gene (ER) α and β in 110 patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and 100 control subjects were examined by polymerase chain reaction-based restriction fragment length polymorphism.The haplotype analysis was conducted by SHEsis on-line computing platform.The results showed that there were no differences in the genotype frequencies and allele frequencies of ERα at Xba Ⅰ and Pvu Ⅱ enzyme cutting sites between two groups (P ＞ 0.05).There existed significant differences in the genotype frequencies and allele frequencies of ERβ at Rsa Ⅰ and Alu Ⅰ enzyme cutting sites between these two groups (P ＜ 0.05 or P ＜0.01).The risk of NAFLD in postmenopausal women with R or a allele was 1.833 (95％ CI1.209-2.779,P＜0.05)or 1.782 (95％ CI 1.037-3.061,P＜0.05) fold of that with allele r or A.The frequency of r-A haplotype in ERβ was significantly lower in NAFLD group than that in control group (OR =0.529,95％ CI 0.348-0.805).Logistic regression analysis showed the relationship of fasting blood glucose,triglyceride,body mass index,diastolic pressure,Alu Ⅰ genotype with NAFLD (all P＜0.01).The risk of NAFLD in postmenopausal women with Aa/aa genotype was 1.345 (95％ CI 1.028-2.505,P＜0.05) folds of that with AA genotype.

Objective To study the clinical characteristics, treatment methods and prognosis of primary gastrointestinal diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (PGI-DLBCL). Methods The clinical data of 40 patients with PGI- DLBCL were retrospectively analyzed. All the cases had received surgery treatment. Results In 40 patients with PGI-DLBCL, the major clinical presentation included abdominal pain in 15 cases (37.5%), abdominal mass in 6 cases (15.0%), abdominal discomfort in 5 cases (12.5%), abdominal distension in 5 cases (12.5%), and hematemesis in 5 cases (12.5%). Fifteen cases were misdiagnosed as gastric cancer, 5 cases as colon cancer, and 4 cases as digestive tract ulcer. The misdiagnosis rate was 60.0% (24/40). The survival rates of 1- , 2- and 3- year were 62.3%, 57.5% and 52.6%. The univariate analyses result showed that the clinical stage, international prognosis index (IPI) and treatment method were associated with survival rate (P<0.01), but the gender, age and disease distribution were not associated with survival rate (P > 0.05). The 3-year survival rate of clinical stage Ⅰ - Ⅱ was significantly higher than clinical stageⅢ-Ⅳ(68.0%vs. 13.3%), the 3-year survival rate of IPI 0-2 scores was significantly higher than 3 - 5 scores (66.7% vs. 7.6%), and the 3- year survival rate of surgery combined with postoperative chemotherapy was significantly higher than simple surgery (75.0%vs. 20.0%), there were statistical differences (P<0.01). Conclusions The patients with PGI- DLBCL have no obvious clinical manifestions and a higher misdiagnosed rate. Modified IPI, clinical stage and surgery combined with postoperative chemotherapy are the influencing factors of prognosis.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effects of qingchang huashi recipe (QHR) on the dendritic cells (DCs) of experimental colitis rats, thus exploring its possible mechanisms for treating ulcerative colitis (UC).

METHODSThe UC rat model was induced by TNBS/anhydrous alcohol. Forty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups, i.e., the normal group, the model group, the QHR group, and the Mesalazine group, 10 in each group. Since the 2nd day of modeling, corresponding medication was respectively administered to each treatment group by gastrogavage for 10 successive days. The number of DCs in the colonic mucosa was observed using iMmunohistochemical assay. The DCs ratio in the mesenteric lymph nodes, and the expressions of surface molecules MHC-II and CD86 were detected using flow cytometry.

RESULTSCompared with the model group, the number of DCs in the colonic mucosa significantly decreased, the expression of MHC-II in the mesenteric lymph nodes significantly decreased in the QHR group and the Mesalazine group, showing statistical difference (P < 0.01). There was no statistical difference between the two groups (P > 0.05). There was no statistical difference in the DCs ratios and the CD86 expression among the 4 groups (P > 0.05).

CONCLUSIONQHR could decrease the infiltration of DCs in the colonic mucosa, and suppress the activation of DCs in the mesenteric lymph nodes, which might be one of its mechanisms for treating UC.

Objective To detect the expression and function of cysteinyl leukotriene receptors (CysLTRs)in keratinocytes.Methods Human keratinocytes were isolated from the tissue of foreskin by digestion with dispase Ⅱ and trypsin,and subjected to primary culture.By using confocal laser scanning microscopy and reverse transcriptase PCR,the localization and expression of CysLTRs were studied in kemtinocytes.respectively.Some primarily cultured keratinocytes were pretreated with leukotriene D4 (30 nmoi/L),MK571(300 nmol/L),and BAYu9773 for 5 minutes followed by the detection of intmcellular calcium level using the Ca2+ indicator dye Fura-2/AM as well as cell proliferation bv MTT assay.Results The expressions of CysLTR1 and CysLTR2 were observed in cultured keratinocytes,and they were mainly located on cell membrane,partly in cytoplasm and nuclei.Compared with non.stimulated cells,a significant increase Was noted in the expression of CysLTRs,especially in the nuclei of keratinocytes stimulated by LTD4(P＜0.05),together with an elevation in intracellular calcium level(42.27±3.00 mmol/L,P＜0.01)and acceleration in cell proliferation (P＜0.01).However,both MK571 and BAYu9773 could completely block the effect of LTD4 on intmcellular calcium level and cell proliferation.and there was no significant difference in the blocking effect between MK571 and BAYu9773.Conclusions Functional CysLTRs are expressed in human keratinocytes.and they carl increase the intracellular calcium level in,and cell proliferation of,keratinocytes.

Objective The purpose of this study was to investigate the expression of mitochondrial motility-related gene mirol and mitochondrial energy metabolism during an acute bout of prolonged exercise. Methods CS7 BL/6 mice underwent a moderate intensity treadmill running with the slope of 0° and at the speed of 13m/min, and they were randomly divided into 5 groups:resting group(R),exercise groups running for 30min(E30),60min(E60),90min (E90) and 120min(E120),respectively. Respiratory control index and ATP synthesis activity in isolated mitochondria were detected. Skeletal muscle H_2O_2 concentration,mirol mRNA expressions were also measured. Results (1)mirol mRNA contents were significantly increased in groups E30 to E120,as compared with the group R;and mirol mRNA expression increased 32.8%, 107.6%,63.8% and 44.8% respectively in groups E30 to E120. (2)H_2O_2 contents of skeletal muscle were clearly increased in group s E30 to E120. (3)ATP synthesis activity elevated at 30 min of exercise and returned to the baseline thereafter,whereas respiratory control index without remarkable change in groups E30 to E120. Conclusion Muscular mirol mRNA expression significantly increased during 120min of exercise as compared with the resting status and thus facilitated the mitochondrial respiratory and ATP synthesis for matching the energy demand during exercise.
