2.Research progress of TLR9 inherent signaling pathways in tumor cells
Journal of International Oncology 2012;(11):834-837
Specific activation of toll-Like Receptor 9 (TLR9) by ligand CpG DNA/ODN can initiate downstream signaling. The activation of TLR9 signaling is regulated by Granulin,high-mobility group box-1 (HMGB1) and soluble TLR9.Interestingly,TLR9 is no longer only presented in the immune cells, but also expressed in many kinds of tumor cells.TLR9 is involved inmaintaining and promoting the malignant biological behaviors of tumor cells.Elucidation of the function of TLR9 inherent signaling pathways in the tumor cells will provide a novel idea for oncotherapy.

Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(1):12-14
In eukaryotes, the cell(s) material exchange has long existed in its proliferation and apoptosis, while the exchange of nucleus and cytoplasm only through the shuttle movement of the nuclear pore complex (NPC). NPC in the nuclear membrane, achieves the protein,RNA and other substances's transport task through the shuttle movement between nucleus and cytoplasm of eukaryotes.Specific nuclear pore proteins regulate specific transport path, and because of this, the transport and regulation through the NPC is highly selective and coordination,so the NPC play an important role in gene expression, cell signaling networks and maintain the environment. Some of them will change the structure properties of membrane, affecting mitosis, and some can be combined with the kinase leading to abnormal biochemical reactions,or combined with other biological factors in angiogenesis, cell migration or apoptosis of cells leading to abnormal changes, and leading to tumorigenesis.

Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 2014;(6):693-694
Objective To understand the current status of advanced schistosomiasis patients, so as to provide the reference for improving the medical care of them in Shanggao County. Methods The data of advanced patients in Shanggao County were collected from the Information Management System for the Advanced Schistosomiasis Chemotherapy and Assistance in Jiangxi Province and a field survey including the epidemiological investigation physical examinations and B ultrasound examinations was performed in 2014. All the data were analyzed statistically and compared with those in 2010. Results Among the 128 ad?vanced schistosomiasis patients the male female ratio was 2.46 1 the average age was 68.02±6.19 years and the patients old?er than 65 years contributed to 64.84%for the all. The proportions of clinically types of ascites splenomegaly multiple granulo?ma in the colon dwarf general and haemorrhage were 57.81% 12.50% 2.34% 0 26.57% and 0.78% respectively. The ultrasound examinations revealed the average diameter of the main trunk of portal vein was 12.70 ± 1.91mm in 2014 which was significantly broader than that of 12.05 ± 0.34mm in 2010 P < 0.01 . Conclusions The advanced schistosomiasis patents in Shanggao County decreases with years and shows an aging trend. Some advanced schistosomiasis patients are worse therefore the chemotherapy and salvation work still should be strengthened.

The 1,095 bp gene encoding peroxidase from Coprinus cinereus was synthesized and integrated into the genome of Pichia pastoris with a highly inducible alcohol oxidase. The recombinant CiP (rCiP) fused with the a-mating factor per-pro leader sequence derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae was secreted into the culture medium and identified as the target protein by mass spectrometry, confirming that a C. cinereus peroxidase (CiP) was successfully expressed in P. pastoris. The endoplasmic reticulum oxidoreductase 1 (Ero1) and protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) were co-expressed with rCiP separately and simultaneously. Compared with the wild type, overexpression of PDI and Erol-PDI increaseed Cip activity in 2.43 and 2.6 fold and their activity reached 316 U/mL and 340 U/mL respectively. The strains co-expressed with Erol-PDI was used to high density fermentation, and their activity reached 3,379 U/mL, which was higher than previously reported of 1,200 U/mL.

Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2010;32(10):730-734
Objectiye To study the mechanism by which transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) affects cognitive dysfunction in vascular dementia (VD). Methods Thirty-six male Wistar rats were randomly divided into a control group, a VD group, a low frequency rTMS group and a high frequency rTMS group. Two-vessel occlusion was employed to induce VD models. Low frequency rTMS group rats were given 0.5 Hz rTMS for six weeks. High frequency rTMS group rats were given 5 Hz rTMS for six weeks. Morris' water maze test was used to measure their spatial learning ability and memory. The ultrastructures of the synapses in the four groups were detected with transmission electron microscopy. The expression of synaptophysin (SYN), brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and Nmethyl-D-aspartate receptor 1 ( NMDAR1 ) mRNA and protein in the hippocampus were determined by real-time PCR and Western blotting. Results The behavior and morphology of the rats treated with rTMS improved. The average expression of SYN, BDNF and NMDAR1 mRNA and protein in the low frequency rTMS group and the high frequency rTMS group were significantly higher than in the VD group. Conclusion rTMS can provide a rehabilitative effect for VD. The mechanism might be associated with enhancing the expression of SYN, BDNF and NMDAR1 in the hippocampus.

Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 2010;18(2):140-143
Objective To investigate the characteristics of voice changes by multi-dimensional acoustic analysis in patients who underwent thyroid gland lobectomy without laryngeal nerve injury. Methods To observe vocal cord movement and evaluate voice quality,32 patients with unilateral thyroid adenoma received the examinations of fiberlaryngscopy and Multi-Dimensional Voice Program before and after operation, respectively.Forty subjects with normal voice were used as cantrol group. Results Fiberlaryngscopy examinations were normal in all patients before and after surgery. In thyroid group, the preoperative acoustic parameters in male patients showed no significant difference(P>0.05) compared with the control group. There was no significant difference between preoperative and postoperative acoustic parameters(P>0.05).While the postoperative acoustic parameters of female patients was significantly lower than those of preoperative and in control group(P<0.05).There was significant improvement 3 months after the operation compared with that of preoperative group(P<0.05).Fhi of 3 months after operation was still lower than those of preoperation and in control group in male and female patients that continues to be significant after 3 months. Conclusion Voice changes may occur after unilateral thyroid gland lobectomy without any laryngeal nerve injury, and there is little voice change in male patients, while in female patients, voice improvement is observed after operation.Fhi still remaines lower level for a certain of time.
