Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Objective To investigate the influence of carbon monoxide(CO) on the content of atrial natriuretic peptide(ANP) in ventricular tissues of rats. Methods The left and right ventricular tissues of 12 Wistar rats were divided into control group(n=12) and hemin group(n=12,the final concentration of hemin was 10~(-4) mol/L),respectively.The ventricular tissues were successly incubated in(37 ℃) thermostatic waterbath with Krebs solution as supernatant for 4 hours. After incubation of the ventricular tissues,radio-immunity method was applied to determine the content of ANP in the supernatant. Results Compared with the content of ANP in the supernatant in control group,it was significantly decreased both in left [(9.72?3.59) vs(52.05?31.65) ng/(g?wet tissue),P

DOTA and its derivatives are most widely uscd novel bifunctional chelators. They have not only mature synthesis route, but also good coordination and chelating ability. Therefore,DOTA metal complexes of DOTA-peptide conjugates are increasingly used as MRI contrast agents, radionuclide targeted imaging agents and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals in the biomedical field. This review covers the bifunctional derivatives of DOTA,the synthesis of DOTA-peptide conjugates, and the applications of DOTA-peptide conjugate metal complexes.
3. Simultaneous determination of inorganic elements in stems and leaves of Scutellaria baicalensis from different regions by ICP-MS
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2018;49(22):5418-5425
Objective An inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) method was established for the determination of inorganic elements in stems and leaves of Scutellaria baicalensis. The inorganic elements in the extracts were analyzed and evaluated. Methods ICP-MS was applied to determine 23 kinds of inorganic elements in samples digested by microwave in stems and leaves of S. baicalensis from eight regions, and the results were analyzed by principal component analysis (PCA) and correlation analysis. Results There were no differences in the types of inorganic elements in stems and leaves of S. baicalensis from different regions, but the content of them varied greatly. Among them, Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, Cr, Co, Ni, Sr, B, and Ni were essential elements of the human body. The content of Al and Fe was the highest, and the content of B, Ti, Mn, Sr, and Ba was higher than others. The total content of heavy metals and harmful elements of samples were up to the mustard, except S10. The contents of Cd in S2, S10 and S22-S30 exceeded standards. Thirty-five batches stems and leaves of S. baicalensis were divided into eight groups, which were analyzed by thePCA with the contents of 23 elements as variates. These regions which have different geographies and climates might lead to the differences in the contents of inorganic elements in the samples. Four factors (F1-F4) were selected to make a comprehensive evaluation. The evaluation function was F = 0.444 2 F1 + 0.166 6 F2 + 0.129 1 F3 + 0.056 4 F4. The results showed that the scores of samples from Shanxi and Shaanxi were higher, which indicated that the qualities of above samples were better than those of other samples. Conclusion In this study, an accurate and efficient method for the analysis and determination of inorganic elements in stems and leaves of S. baicalensis from different regions was established, which provided a scientific reference for the quality control, safety evaluation, and comprehensive utilization of S. baicalensis resource.

Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2014;(3):246-249
Objective To analyze the clinical and immunological features of 45 pediatric patients with lupus nephritis (LN). Methods Forty-five LN patients were included in this study. Clinical, pathological data and immunological parameters were retrospectively analyzed. Results Forty-five LN patients had 6 males and 39 females, with the mean onset age of (10.9 ± 2.8) years. Acute nephritis was the most common type, accounting for 42.2%. Nephrotic syndrome accounted for 31.1%. Renal biopsy showed class II (17.8%), III (4.4%), IV (48.9%), V (2.2%), V+III (6.7%)and V+IV (13.3%)in 42 cases. The remis-sion rate reached 91.1%in the early therapeutic stage, and 15.0%patients recurred after 24-month follow-up. Conclusions The clinical manifestations of LN children are diverse. The renal pathology is complex. The clinical manifestations in part of the chil-dren are not consistent with renal pathology.

BACKGROUND:Orthotopic lung transplantation model in a rat is the key to investigate the chronic rejection after lung transplantation. However, the precise surgical technique and difficult operation limit the application of the model. OBJECTIVE:To improve the process of anesthesia and lung transplantation, and to establish a rapid, safe and reversible rat lung transplantation model. METHODS:A total of 42 rats were used to establish the model, including 21 donor models and 21 receptor models. The donor lung was excised by median sternotomy with dissection of the left lung and implantation of cuffs (intravenous catheters cut into 1.5 mm sections). The left lung was implanted in the recipient by lateral thoracotomy using the cuffs for anastomoses. The duration of surgery and success rate of transplantation were recorded and calculated. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The survival rate of rats after lung transplantation was 100%. The time of left donor lung extraction was (35.3±5.1) minutes in average. The time of placing cuff in donor lung was (12.5±4.6) minutes in average. The surgical procedure time of recipient was (50.2±3.3) minutes. The time of arteriovenous and bronchus casing anastomosis was (27.7±6.2) minutes. After pulmonary artery and vein blood flow was disparked, the whole lung turned red rapidly, blood perfusion was sufficient, venous returned unimpeded;after mechanical ventilation resumed, al graft lungs expanded wel . This improved anesthesia and lung transplantation technique in rats can provide a valid, reliable and reproducible animal model for studying immune responses and rejection in lung transplantation.

Objective To observe the ability of inactivating human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) in whole blood by visible light combination with methylene blue (MB) at different concentrations. Methods HIV-1 was used as the test virus. The contaminated blood was treated by MB, visible light (640 nm), combined with MB and visible light (640 nm). The test of MT4 cell infection was used to evaluate the virus inactivation efficacy. Results After being treated by MB at the concentrations of 5, 10, and 15 ?mol/L, and then irradiated respectively by visible light (40 000 Lux, 640 nm) for 30, 20, and 10 min, all the added indicated virus at the titer of 10 5.78 TCID 50 of HIV-1 could be inactivated absolutely. Conclusion Methylene blue photochemical method can inactivate HIV-1 in blood effectively.

Objective To explore the clinical significance of the brain natriuretic peptide(BNP) in evaluating the cardiotoxicity caused by daunorubicin(DNR) through studying the changes of the plasma BNP levels in children with acute leukemia who accepted the chemotherapy with DNR.Methods Thirty-one children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL) admitted in the year of 2002-2004 underwent the chemotherapy in DVLP project. The plasma level of BNP was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) and the left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD) by color Doppler respectively before and after the administration of DNR.Simultaneously, electrocardiography(ECG) and cardiac muscle enzymes(LDH1,CK-MB) were measured as routine. Results The plasma level of BNP increased from(3.97?2.41) ng/L to(18.25?7.63) ng/L(P
