Objective To observe the influence of the short effect antihypertension drugs- nifedipine and medial effect antihypertension drugs- extended release nifedipine on the blood pressure variability (BPV) in essential hypertension(EH). Methods Twenty-five EH patients were underwent 24-hour noninvasive ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) and observed their BPV respectively before taking drugs, after taking nifedipine and extended release nifedipine. Meantime,25 normotensive controls (NC) were observed. Results (1)BPV in EH group was higher than that in controlled group and the severer the rise of blood pressure, the more obvious the increase of BPV (P 0.05). Conclusions Nifedipine could increase BPV but extended release nifedipine did not change BPV while they decreased blood pressure. Effect of extended release nifedipine was better than nifedipine in decreasing blood pressure.

Objective To screen stable express A30P a-synuclein PC12 cell as the research object, and to preliminarily investigate the activity of different glycogen systhesis kinase 3β (GSK3β) for the regulation of autophagy pathway causes a-synuclein autophagy level change and its effects on cell growth. Methods The vector of A30P a-synuclein was used to transfect to PC12 cells.G418 was used to screen stable expressed cells.Liposome method was used to transfect GSK3β-expressed plasmid,GSK3β silence plasmid, and blank plasmid into these cell lines, and stable expressed activity of GSK3β cell lines were screened.Western blot was used to detect the expression of GSK3 β after transfection and verify the transfection efficiency.Western blot was used to test groups of cells in LC-3 Ⅱ,Beclin1,and a-synuclein expressions.Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTF) method was used to detect the change of cell proliferation.Terminal dexynucleotidyl transferase (TdT) mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) method was used to detect apoptosis. Results (1) When GSK3β expressed group was compared to GSK3β silence group, blank plasmidgroup, and blank control group, the expressions of LC-3 Ⅱ and Beclin1 were significantly increased (P < 0.05),the expression of a-synuclein was significantly reduced (P < 0.05),the results of MTT and TUNEL showed that the cells were the decrease of apoptosis and increase of cell proliferation, with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05).(2) When GSK3β silence group was compared to GSK3β express group, blank plasmidgroup, and blank control group, the expressions of LC-3 Ⅱ and Beclin1 were significantly reduced (P < 0.05),the expression of a-synuclein was significantly increased (P < 0.05),the results of MTT and TUNEL showed that the cells were the increase of apoptosis and decrease of cell proliferation, with a statistically significant difference (P <0.05).Conclusions (1) Activation of GSK3β activity can improve the level of cell autophagy, enhance the ability of alpha-synuclein degradation, and promote cell survival.(2) Inhibition of GSK3β activity can reduce the level of cell autophagy, weaken the ability of alpha-synucleindegradation,and reduce cell survival.(3) Autophagy is closely related to the pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease (PD).The improvement of the level of autophagy and enhancing of the degradation of asynuclein is a new way of the future treatment of PD.

Airborne pollen is a common allergen that causes allergic reactions. Researches have shown that airborne pollen may be an independent risk factor for ischemic stroke. The possible mechanisms of airborne pollen induced ischemic stroke include inflammation and oxidative stress response, atherosclerosis, blood hypercoagulability and thrombosis, and can increase the risk of ischemic stroke by promoting the occurrence of hypertension, respiratory and cardiovascular events.

Color is an important indicator for evaluating the ornamental traits of horticultural plants, and plant pigments is a key factor affecting the color phenotype of plants. Plant pigments and their metabolites play important roles in color formation of ornamental organs, regulation of plant growth and development, and response to adversity stress. It has therefore became a hot topic in the field of plant research. Virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS) is a vital genomics tool that specifically reduces host endogenous gene expression utilizing plant homology-dependent defense mechanisms. In addition, VIGS enables characterization of gene function by rapidly inducing the gene-silencing phenotypes in plants. It provides an efficient and feasible alternative for verifying gene function in plant species lacking genetic transformation systems. This paper reviews the current status of the application of VIGS technology in the biosynthesis, degradation and regulatory mechanisms of plant pigments. Moreover, this review discusses the potential and future prospects of VIGS technology in exploring the regulatory mechanisms of plant pigments, with the aim to further our understandings of the metabolic processes and regulatory mechanisms of different plant pigments as well as improving plant color traits.
