OBJECTIVETo observe the efficacy of acupuncture on pain after replantation of severed finger.
METHODSA total of 80 patients who underwent replantation of severed finger were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, 40 cases in each one. The patients in the control group were treated with postoperative routine care of hand surgery, while patients in the observation group, based on the regular treatment, were treated with acupuncture within first 72 h of surgery. The health side of Yanglingquan (GB 34), Xuehai (SP 10), Hegu (LI 4), Houxi (SI 3) were selected and the needles were retained for 30 min. The acupuncture was given for 6 times. The evaluation was performed by using visual analogue scale (VAS) 2 h, 4 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h, 48 h and 72 h after surgery. The use of analgesics after surgery was recorded in the two groups, and the blood supply and survival rate of severed finger were evaluated.
RESULTSCompared between the two groups, the VAS 4 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h and 48 h after surgery in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (all P<0. 05); the use frequency of analgesics in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0. 05); the abnormality rate of blood supply in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSIONAcupuncture can significantly relieve postoperative pain of replantation of severed finger, and reduce the occurrence rate of abnormal blood supply, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

Objective To evaluate ELISA combined with chemiluminescence in the detection of syphilis specific antibodies. Methods 628 patients who came to our hospital and treated in dermatology department were recruited in the study from January 2014 to April 2014.Patients′serum samples were detected by using ELISA firstly, and then the samples, the test rusults of which were within the recheck standard range(0.5

The imbalance of lipid metabolism is an important factor causing a series of metabolic diseases such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and hyperlipidemia.Liver X receptors is a member of the nuclear receptor superfamily, which maintains cholesterol homeostasis by regulating cholesterol absorption, transport, reverse cholesterol transport, biosynthesis and other functions. It plays an important role in maintaining lipid homeostasis by regulating de novo fat synthesis to maintain the balance of fatty acids in the body.

Objective To investigate the application effect of the sandwich teaching method in the course of Surgical Nursing . Methods Two classes of the students majoring in nursing were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 36 students in each group. The students in the control group received the traditional teaching method, and those in the observation group received the sandwich teaching method . The teaching effect was compared between the two groups by theoretical assessment and questionnaire survey. SPSS 24.0 was used for analysis of variance and the t-test. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group had significantly higher scores of course assessment, learning atmosphere, and learning initiative. The observation group also had significantly higher good rates of learning atmosphere and learning initiative than the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The sandwich teaching method can significantly improve students' abilities of communication and problem solving, arouse their enthusiasm of learning, and increase the interestingness of classroom, and therefore, it has a practical value in teaching.

OBJECTIVETo assess the value of combined evaluation of serum follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), inhibin B (INHB), chromosome karyotyping and AZF microdeletion of Y-chromosome (AZF-MD-Ych) in predicting the success of testicular sperm aspiration (TESA) in azoospermic patients.
METHODSA total of 262 azoospermic patients were divided into two groups with normal (n=162) and abnormal (n=100) serum FSH levels. INHB levels, INHB/FSH ratio, chromosome karyotype patterns of the peripheral lymphocytes, and AZF-MD-Ych were compared between the two groups. Among the patients receiving TESA, the success rate of the procedure was compared between the two groups after excluding abnormalities in INHB, chromosome karyotype and AZF-MD-Ych.
RESULTSSignificant differences were found between the two groups in serum INHB level, INHB/FSH and chromosome karyotypes (P<0.05), but not in AZF-MD-Ych (P>0.05). After excluding the abnormalities in chromosome karyotypes, AZF-MD-Ych and INHB, sperms were obtained successfully by TESA from 61.82% (34/55) of patients with normal FSH but from none of those with abnormal FSH (P<0.01).
CONCLUSIONA combined evaluation of serum FSH, INHB, chromosome karyotypes and AZF-MD-Ych can effectively predict the success of TESA in azoospermic patients, and abnormalities in all the 4 indices suggest a very low success rate of sperm retrieval by TESA.

Objective:To observe heart rate circadian rhythm in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) stage 5 and to analyze the effects of parathyroidectomy (PTX) on heart rate circadian rhythm in severe secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) patients. Methods:A cross-sectional observation was performed in 213 patients with CKD stage 5 and 96 controls, and the patients were divided into those with severe SHPT (PTX group, n=70) and without severe SHPT (non-PTX group, n=143). Forty-six PTX patients were followed up prospectively. The baseline data were compared among these groups. Holter electrocardiogram was performed for each participant. Non-dipping heart rate was defined as night/day heart rate ratio greater than 0.9. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the related factors of heart rate circadian rhythm in patients with CKD stage 5. Results:The 24-hour, daytime and nighttime mean heart rate in patients with CKD stage 5 were all higher than those in controls, especially in PTX group (all P<0.05). The night/day heart rate ratios of controls and CKD stage 5 patients were (0.81±0.08) and (0.91±0.08) respectively ( P<0.01). Correlation analysis showed 24-hour and daytime or nighttime mean heart rate in patients with CKD stage 5 were positively correlated with serum levels of phosphorus and ln(alkaline phosphatase), while nighttime mean heart rate and night/day heart rate ratio were positively related with serum intact parathyroid hormone level. After adjusting with postoperative follow-up period (median time: 10.9 months), 24-hour and nighttime mean heart rate, and night/day heart rate ratio in PTX patients all decreased significantly (all P<0.01). Conclusions:Heart rate is increased and circadian rhythm is abnormal in patients with CKD stage 5, which are related with mineral and bone disorder. PTX significantly decreases 24-hour and nighttime mean heart rate in severe SHPT patients, and improves the heart rate circadian rhythm.
