Objective To analyze morbidity, mortality and epidemiological characteristics of epidemic encephalitis B (Japanese encephalitis) from 2002 to 2013 in Zunyi. Methods The descriptive and statistical analysis of the incidence and death of epidemic encephalitis B from 2002 to 2013 in Zunyi was carried out. Results The morbidity and mortality were on a downward trend of epidemic encephalitis B in Zunyi from 2002 to 2013;most of the death and incidence cases occurred in July and August from children living scattered and students under age 15;after immunization expansion, the incidence of encephalitis B showed significant differences between ages, occupations, and time points (P<0.05);in the regional distribution of epidemic encephalitis B,incidence and mortality had significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion Promising results might be generally obtained after expansion of encephalitis B immunization. However, there is a tendency of shifting back in terms of onset age and month. Therefore, comprehensive prevention measures should be implemented according to the epidemiological features of epidemic encephalitis B.
2.Analysis of Volume-Price-Linkage and Volume-for-Price in Medical Reform Policy
Chinese Health Economics 2023;42(12):13-15
Objective:It analyzes the mechanism of volume-price linkage and volume-for-price widely used in China medical reform. Methods:Based on the principle of economics,it analyzes the pursuit of volume and price by both supply and demand sides in pharmaceutical procurement transactions, explores the conditions for the realization of volume-price linkage and volume-for-price exchange, and analyzes and corroborates the issue based on centralized bidding and procurement and national negotiated access. Results:Keeping the balance of supply&demand is a key to fulfill volume-price linkage policy.Volume-price linkages and volume-for-price exchanges are not inevitable, and often require measures to reduce supply costs before they can be expected to mate-rialize.Conclusion:Comprehensive institutional arrangement was essential for volume-price linkage and volume-for-price.

Objective:To explore the characteristics of brain structure in patients with long-term withdrawal of methamphetamine-dependence.Methods:A total of 44 patients with withdrawal of methamphetamine-dependent for more than 14 months were recruited, who met the diagnostic criteria for substance dependence in the fifth edition of the American Mental Disorders Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM-Ⅴ),and 40 healthy subjects were used as the control. In addition to the general scale of drug-relevant survey, the subjects received the 3.0T magnetic resonance high-resolution scan. The voxel-based morphometric measurements for the subject's brain gray volume were conducted. Results:There was no significant difference in age, education, smoking and alcohol consumption between the methamphetamine-dependent withdrawal group and the control group (P>0.05).The volumes for the bilateral cerebellum, the left side of temporal gyrus and the right side of the lingual gyrus in the methamphetamine-dependent withdrawal group were increased than those in the control group. The volumes for the bilateral lingual gyrus and bilateral cuneus in the methamphetamine-dependent withdrawal group were decreased than those in the control group. The volumes of left of cuneus and cerebellum were positively correlated with the duration of abstinence. Conclusion:After long-term abstinence, although the patients still show abnormal brain structure, their behavior and cognitive function is improved. The cerebral nerve structural is recovered from long-term abstinence.

Health security for rare diseases has aroused much attention in the society nowadays, In this article, we analyzed in-depth the construction of rare diseases health security in China by studying the literature reviews, expert interviews, and reports of pilot policy investigations. We conclude in the study that it is an important step to constructing a multiple health security system for the rare disease making the basic health security as the cornerstone. For rare medications and treatments that cannot be covered by the current national health insurance, it is necessary to build an specific funding for rare disease funding as a means of safeguard. Finally, for those who are financially disadvantages, the system should involve relief and philanthropy to help them. By constructing a multiple health security system, rare diseases patients in our country will get a well-covered health care.
