China Pharmacist 2016;19(2):332-334,405
Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Suhuang Zhike capsules combined with montelukast in the treatment of cough caused by upper respiratory infection. Methods:Totally 120 patients with cough after upper respiratory infection were randomly divided into the treatment group (64 cases) and the control group (56 cases) by the random number table. The control group received Montelukast chewable tablets alone(10 mg,po qn), while the treatment group received Suhaung Zhike capsules(1. 35 g,po,tid) com-bined with Montelukast chewable tablets. The treatment course was 2 weeks, and the efficacy and adverse reactions between the two groups after the treatment were compared. Results:The significant efficiency and the total efficiency of the observation group were sig-nificantly highter than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0. 05). After the treatment, the cough symptom score and the expectoration symptom score of the two groups were decreased significantly than those before the treatment (P<0.05), both scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group after the treatment(P >0. 05). The incidence of adverse reactions of the two groups had no significant differencet(P<0. 05). Conclusion: As for the clinic efficacy, the combination of Suhaung Zhike capsules and Montelukast is significantly better than Montelukast therapy, and the combina-tion is an effective and safe treatment for cough after upper respiratory infection and worthy of promotion in clinical practice.

Objective To investigate the effect of different stimulants on the LAG3 expression and function of spleen lymphocytes in mice. Methods The spleen lymphocytes from mice were isolated by density centrifugation. The LAG3 expressions in T cell subsets after exposure to conA, PMA, PHA or anti-CD3/28 antibodies for 24 h or 72 h were analyzed by Flow cytometry. The IFN-γsecretions of conditional medium were detected by ELISA kit.The proliferation of lymphocytes was examined by MTT analysis. Results Treatment with conA for 24 h or 72 h dose-dependently increased LAG3 +CD3 +and LAG3 +CD4 +CD3 +T cell percentages.Similarly, an exposure of anti-CD3/28 antibodies for 72 h significantly increased LAG3 +CD3 +and LAG3 +CD4 +CD3 + T cell percentages.Meanwhile, conA and anti-CD3/28 antibodies increased the IFN-γsecretion of lymphocytes in a time-dependent manner.Furthermore, Treatment with conA, PMA, PHA or anti-CD3/28 antibodies for 72 h could enhance the proliferation of lymphocyte. Conclusion conA and anti-CD3/28 antibodies are effective activators of T cells, and both of them could promote the expression of LAG3 and IFN-γsecretion of lymphocytes.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2012;29(5):867-871
A new stent with triangular wire cross-section was proposed. The new stents were compared with traditional circular wire cross-section stent in the same porosity in order to investigate its effectiveness in treating intracranial aneurysms. Three models were established separately, including the aneurysm model with circle cross section stent, the aneurysm model with triangular cross section stent and the aneurysm model with non-stent. Then the same boundary conditions were set to contrast the resistance to flow, velocity, pressure, wall shear stress and total mesh displacement. The resistance to flow of triangular cross section stent was lower than circle cross section stent and the velocity, pressure, total mesh displacement of aneurysm model with triangular cross section stent were all higher than those of the model with circle cross section stent. Moreover, the peak value and valley value of wall shear stress in aneurysm model with triangular cross section stent were higher than those of the other. Triangular cross section stent might play a negative role to aneurysm rupturing. Thus, the therapeutic effect of stent with triangle cross section was not better than the stent with circle cross section. In the clinical application, doctors should consider the various factors, and choose the most suitable one.
