Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the present situation of water benzo (a) pyrene contamination in China and to make an ecological risk assessment. Methods B(a)P, one of the 16 prior-controlled polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons pollutants selected by US EPA, is used to reflect the potential risk of PAHs, a strong carcinogen. Since the content of B(a)P in water is rather low, the contamination levels in the sediment of domestic water environment are assessed with two ecological assessment standards: risk assessment guidelines of chemical concentrations in marine and estuary sediments and sediment quality guidelines for the protection of aquatic life and probable effects levels for adverse biological effects. Results The contents of B(a)P were 0.06-707.12 ng/g in sediment of rivers and lakes, 7.1-1 492.12 ng/g in surface sediment of seaports, marines, and tidal flats respectively. Conclusion Domestic water environment is generally suffered from B(a)P contamination, but still under the adverse effect level.

Journal of Forensic Medicine 2014;(2):88-92
Objective To analyze the latency of posture evoked response of normal lower limb muscle in different stimulations and explore its influencing factors. Methods The normal lower limb was induced to produce postural evoked response by the dynamic posturography through two kinds of perturbations, the supporting surface rotation stimulation (Toes-up and Toes-down) and the horizontal perturbation stimulation (Forward and Backward). The latencies of tibialis anterior muscle and gastrocnemius muscle were recorded by surface electromyography acquisition system. The differences of the left and right limb, gen-der and height on the latency of postural evoked response were analyzed. Results (1) Under the Toes-up and Backward perturbation, the latency of tibialis anterior muscle was longer than gastrocnemius muscle;under the Toes-down and Forward perturbation, the latency of gastrocnemius muscle was longer than tib-ialis anterior muscle. (2) The latencies of left limb and right limb had no significant difference. (3) The la-tency in male was longer than that in female. (4) The latency gradually increased with the increase of height. Conclusion In the postural evoked response, different perturbations, gender and height have sig-nificant impacts on the latency of posture evoked response of lower limb muscle. However, the effect of height and gender should be not considered referring to the same individual.

OBJECTIVE:To observe therapentic efficacy of bevacizumab combined with irinotecan+leucovorin+fluorouracil (FOLFIRI)plan in the treatment of advanced colon cancer, toxic reaction and patients'survival rate. METHODS:A total of 113 patients with advanced colon cancer admitted to the oncology department in our hospital from Jan. 2010 to Aug. 2014 were random-ized into observation group 1(40 cases),observation group 2(39 cases)and control group(34 cases). Three groups received FOLFIRI;observation group 1 and 2 were additionally given Bevacizumab injection 5 and 7.5 mg/kg 14 d as a treatment course, for 8 cycles. Clinical efficaices as well as the positive rate of VEGF-A,immune indexes(the proportion of CD3+,CD3+CD4+,CD3+CD8+ in T cell subset)before and after treatment, the incidence of toxic reaction,1-year and 2-year survival rates were compared among 3 groups. RESULTS:The total response rate of observation group 1 and 2 were significantly higher than control group, and the positive rate of VEGF-A in observation group 1 and 2 were significantly lower than control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The proportion of CD3+,CD3+CD4+ and CD3+CD8+ in 3 groups were significantly lower than before treatment, but ob-servation group 1 and 2 were significantly higher than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). The incidence of grade hypertension(grade 3-4)in observation group 1 and control group were lower than observation group 2;the incidence of leucope-nia(grade 3-4)in observation group 1 and 2 were significantly lower than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in 1-year survival rate among 3 groups(P>0.05). 2-year survival rate of observation group 1 and 2 were significantly higher than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:For advanced colon cancer, different doses of bevacizumab combined with FOLFIRI have significant synergistic effect, can effectively inhibit VE-FG-A,play a role of immune protection and anti-toxic side effects, and prolong the survival time. The incidence of hypertension in patients treated with low-dose bevacizumab is relatively lower and the safety is better.
