Objective To show the condition that the NOSIE (Nurses' Observation Scale for Inpatient Evaluation) used in schizophrenia patients. Method To evaluate the male and female schizophrenia patients (paranoid type) by NOSIE. Results The total cases were 100 patients, male and female were both 50 cases. The result of evaluation showed that there was significant difference in 5 factors such as social competence, irritability, retardation, psychosis and depressive between male and female patients. As well, it matched with clinical information. The result of the consistency test for survey indicated that its Pearson coefficient of correlation for all of 7 factors in NOSIE were 0.617~0.843. Conclusion NOSICE can provided some objective data to clinical works of nurses. But, in other hand, its identity is lower.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the difference of IgM and DNA for Mycoplasma pneumoniae in respiratory infected children with different age.METHODS Serum samples were tested with ELISA for IgM and molecular beacon based real-time PCR was used to test M.pneumoniae DNA.RESULTS M.pneumoniae DNA was detected in 40% of the patients and the IgM was positive in 11% at the day of sampling and 30% after 7 days, respectively. The difference was of significance(P

Objective To evaluate the predictive value of diffusion weighted imaging ( DWI) for progres-sion free survival(PFS)in patients with cervix cancer after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT).Methods Thirty two consecutive patients with pathologically confirmed cervical cancer underwent MRI including DWI before and after NACT.Pathologic results and MR images were reviewed .Univariate analysis was applied by Kaplan -Meier method. The Cox proportional hazard model was used to evaluate prognostic variables for multivariate analysis .Re-ceiver operating characteristic ( ROC) curves were used to find optimal cutoff values of independent prognostic fac -tors for disease progression. Results Of 32 patients,10 had disease progression during follow -up period. In uni-variate analysis,FIGO stage, tumor size, the depth of tumor invasion, lymph node metastasis and ADC changes be-tween before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (ΔADC) were significantly associated with the disease progres-sion.In multivariate analysis , FIGO stage and ΔADC were the independent prognostic factors for PFS .Optimal cutoff values that determined by ROC curves analyses were FIGO stage ⅡandΔADC 0.31.Area under the ROC curve(AUC)of FIGO stage and ΔADC were 0.841(sensitivity 90.0%,specificity 68.2%)and 0.864(sensitivity 80.0%,specificity 81.8%),respectively.Conclusion In patients with cervix cancer after NACT ,FIGO stage andΔADC are significant predictive values for PFS .

Objective To explore the effects of chronic electrical stimulation (ES) on Nogo-A expression in the hippoeampus of rats. Methods Thirty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into a control group and 4 exper- imental groups. The rats in the control group were given sham ES,while those in the experimental groups received 1, 3,6,or 9 days of ES before being sacrificed for the detection of Nogo-A expresson in the hippoeampus by immunohis- tochemistry and Western plotting. Results There was a positive correlation between the level of Nogo-A expression and the duration of ES,as shown by the immunohistochemistry technique.Western blotting showed the same result. Conclusion In general, seizure occurred 8 days after electrical stimulation began.Elevated Nogo-A expression in the hippocampus began earlier than seizures in the epilepsy model groups.

AIM:To investigate the effect of adenovirus-medicated decorin gene transfer into rat mesangial cells(RMCs)on the expression of decorin,TGF-?1 and the extracellular matrix(ECM)components.METHODS:Rat mesangial cells were transfected with recombinant adenovirus vector of decorin, the levels of mRNA for decorin,TGF-?1,collagen type IV and fibronectin were estimated by semi-quantitative RT-PCR.RESULTS:The transfection of AD-DCN significantly increased decorin mRNA expression compared with negative control(P

The spatial structure of hemolymph node in the rat is studied by light, transmission and scanning electron microscopy after the fixation of arterial perfusion. The structure of hemolymph node is similar to that of the normal lymph node, and main characteristic is that a number of the red cells are seen in it. The erythrocytes were carried to the afferent lymphatic vessel and reach the medullary sinus, many erythrocytes travel through the rsubcapsula and cortical sinuses, and reach the lymphatic tissue of the local cortex with selectivity, and going through the paracortical zone and the sinus wall to the medulary sinus. Most of the red blood cells are phagocytosed by macrophages in the sinuses. The subcapsular and cortical sinuses of hemolymph nodes connect with medullary sinuses, and form a reticular lymphatic passage. Reticular cells in the sinuses constitute a spatial each other. There are macrophages, lymphocytes, plasmocytes and numerous red blood cells in the nets. Macrophages are anchored on the reticular cells by their pseudopodla, traping and phagocytosing the red cells and foreign matters. Sometimes a macrophage is found closely associated with lymphocytes.
