Objective To evaluate the clinical applied effects of tibial shaft fracture with intramedullary interlocking nail and small incision. Methods From November 2004 to October 2005,47 cases of tibial shaft fracture were treated with intramedullary interlocking nail, all the cases were adopted with small incision and intramedullary interlocking nail, and analysed the curative effects Results 47 cases were followed-up ranged 8 ~ 27 months. All cases resumed normal knee function 6 to 12 weeks after operation, without nonunion and malunion. Conclusion Treatment of tibial shaft fracture with intramedullary interlocking nail and small incision had the advantages of little trauma, good stability, high rate of fracture union and rapid functions recovery. It is worthy deserveed to be put into application and populatization in clinics.

Conventional diagnostic methods used for pathologic nipple discharge (PND) include color ultrasound, mammary mo-lybdenum target X-ray radiography (mammography), nipple cytologic smears, and ductography. Diagnosis of PND through inspection yields indirect signs and has low positive rate. Fiberoptic ductoscopy (FDS) allows direct visualization of intra-ductal lesions, evaluates etiology of PND, and accurately locates intraductal lesions through wire marking. FDS is a valuable test for the early diagnosis of breast cancer and can help identify appropriate location for surgical excision. Interventional treatment for ductal ectasia and inflamma-tion is also efficient. Our study discusses FDS as a novel diagnosis and treatment method for PND patients.

AIM:To explore the differences between unilateral recess-resection (R & R) and bilateral lateral rectus recession (BLR-rec) in the treatment of basic intermittent exotropia.METHODS: A retrospective analysis of treatment of basic intermittent exotropia in 89 patients,in which 49 cases underwent unilateral recess-resection,40 cases underwent bilateral lateral rectus recession of external rectus retroperitoneal surgery January 2013 to January 2015 in our hospital. The stereopsis and strabismus were observed in 1d,1,6mo,1 and 2a after operation.RESULTS: There was no significant difference in the success rate and oblique degree between the two groups after 1d,1,6mo,1 and 2a (all P>0.05),but the success rate of the operation was reducing as time passed. After 2d of the operation, the drift of the R & R group was 12.10±5.74PD and the drift of the BLR-rec group was 7.78±4.21PD,the difference was statistically significant (P=0.021).The R & R group was more likely to cause lateral slanting than BLR-rec group. Two groups of patients with nearly stereopsis were both significantly improved, there was no significant difference between the two groups in the two groups (x2=4.530,P=0.210).CONCLUSION: The long-term stability of BLR-rec is superior to R & R.

Thermostable L-arabinose isomerase (L-AI) is the most potential enzyme for the biological production of D-tagatose from D-galactose, a novel functional factor. Gene araA encoding the L-arabinose isomerase from Bacillus stearothermophilis IAM 11001 was cloned and expressed in Escherichia coli. The araA gene of 1491 bp has 95% identity with L-AI from Thermus sp. IM6501. The GenBank accession number for the nucleotide sequence of this araA gene determined in this work is EU394214.The bacterium was induced by IPTG and analyzed by SDS-PAGE, approximately 59 kDa exogenous protein was observed on the SDS-PAGE. The recombinant L-AI was purified to electrophoretical homogeneity with affinity chromatography, and the activity of recombinant L-AI was also studied. The bioconversion rate of D-galactose to D-tagatose reached 39.4% after 24h whole cell reaction.

Microbiology 2008;0(10):-
L-arabinose isomerase (L-AI) can isomerize L-arabinose and D-galactose into L-ribulose and D-tagatose, respectively, which is currently the most effective biological catalyst for D-tagatose production. The crystal structure of L-AI has been solved recently and its gene has been cloned, sequenced and overex- pressed. L-AI improved by protein engineering will be the dominant enzyme for industrial production of D-tagatose. This paper reviewed researches on protein structure and function, properties and application in D-tagatose production of L-AI, and the long-term potential development of L-AI was prospected.

Objective:To investigate the effect of siRNA interfering survivin gene on proliferation of human tongue cancer Tca8113 cells, and clarify the effect of survivin Tca8113 cells biomechanism. Methods: The Tca8113 cells at logarithmic growth phase were selected and divided into interference group, negative control group, and blank control group. The relative levels of survivin mRNA and survivin protein expression of 3 groups were detected by RT-PCR and Western blot assay, the inhibitory rate of proliferation of Tca8113 cells was checked by MTT method, the apoptotic rate was assessed by flow cytometry(FCM),the the migration ability of Tca8113 cells were detected by Wound healing assay. Results: Compared with control group, the survivin mRNA and protein expression was markedly down-regulated in Tca8113 cells following RNA interference treatment(P<0.05),the cell proliferation were down-regulated in interference group(P<0.05),the cell apoptotic rate were up-regulated in interference group(P<0.05),the migration ability was significantly decreased in interference group(P<0.05).Conclusion: The expression of siRNA-survivin can significantly inhibit the invasion in tongue cancer Tca8113 cells, indicating it might be a potential biological therapeutic target for tongue cancer.

Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases 1987;0(04):-
Objective To screen and identify specific antigens of Taenia solium cysticercus, and predict the function of target proteins using bioinformatics method. Methods Patients infected with Taenia solium were dewormed by decoction arecae and pumpkin seeds to collect worms, and eggs were then prepared. Six three-way crossed hybrid pigs were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, and each experimental pig was infected with 80 000 T. solium eggs. Serum samples were collected at 40 days after infection. The total protein of T. solium cysticercus was separated by two-dimensional electrophoresis, and Western blotting was performed to find out distinct antigens. Proteins from the two groups were identified by ESI-Trap MS. Query in NCBI database was made to confirm function of the proteins. Results 207?9 spots were detected through Coomassie brilliant blue-stained gels with Mr 14 400-94 000 and pI 3.0-10.0. Western blotting showed 7 specific antigen spots with pool sera of infected pigs. Four of the 7 antigens with known functions were respectively ascribed to cytoskeletal actin-2(adult-specific), tropomyosin(cysticercus-specific), AF239799-1 annexin (cysticercus-specific) and actin-1(cysticercus-specific). Conclutions Three specific antigens of Taenia solium cysticercus have been identified.

Objective To prepare sustained-release danshensu microcapsules by spray drying. Methods Encapsulation efficiency of different coating materials was compared. The spray process was optimized using a central composite design for two variables to obtain microcapsules with microcapsules yield.Furthermore, in vitro release of danshensu microcapsules was determined. Results PVA was chosen as coating material and the ratio of coating material to core material was 3:1.The inlet air temperature was 190℃,the feed flow rate was 36 r/min,encapsulation efficiency was 85.0%,and microcapsules yield was 56.1%.The particle size of more than 70%microcapsules was between 6—12?m.Conclusion The optimized conditions of spray drying are reasonable, danshensu microcapsules can be used as sustained-release preparation.
