1.Clinical research on the relationship of TCM Syndrome type and blood lipids, blood uric acid

ObjectiveTo study the relationship between blood lipids, blood uric acid and hypertension.Methods118 patients with hypertension, the TCM Syndrome type were collected. 20 cases over the same period were selected as the healthy control group. The total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), triglycerides ( TG ), serum uric acid (SUA) were detected. Blood lipids, blood uric acid levels and abnormal rate in various syndromes of hypertension group and control group were compared.ResultsOf hypertension and high blood pressure phlegm dampness Yinxuyangkang card lipids, SUA exception caught was higher(P < 0.05) lower blood pressure and SUA abnormal deficiency of both yin and yang( P < 0.05 ). Yin card,phlegm dampness card ,anger Kang Sheng card TC higher(P <0.01 ) ;phlegm dampness syndromes TG than hyperactivity syndrome(P <0.05) ;high deficiency of both yin and yang type of blood pressure,HDL-C lower than the control group and other syndromes of hypertension(P <0.05 or <0.01 ) deficiency of both yin and yang type of high blood pressure higher than other groups SUA and other syndromes of hypertension the control group ( P < 0. 01 ).ConclusionIn patients with hypertension,the elevated TG was corralated with the phlegm dampness,and the phlegm dampness could be used as evidence of high blood pressure reference. HDL-C decreased,SUA increased with the yin and yang,and it could be used as the reference to deficiency of both yin and yang.
2.Clinical analysis on 67 cases of bacterial liver abscess

Objective: To summarize the experience in diagnosis and surgical treatment of bacterial liver abscess.Methods: The diagnosis and treatment of 67 patients with bacterial liver abscess were reviewed retrospectively.Results: The main clinical manifestations and signs were pains in the right upper abdomen,fever,tenderness of right upper abdomen,hepatic tenderness.Blood routine showed WBC increased significantly in most cases.B-Ultrasoundgraphy should be the first choice for diagnosis.Percutaneous and transhepatic cholangiography drainage of bacterial liver abscess can be used for most cases,which was simple and safe.Conclusion: The choice of the treatment of bacterial liver abscess should accord to different patient.
4.Therapeutic effect of neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined swallowing training on dysphagia after stroke

Objective:To explore therapeutic effect of neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined swallowing training in dysphagia after stroke.Methods: A total of 86 stroke patients during recovery period were selected.According to random number table, they were randomly and equally divided into pure training group (received swallowing training based on rehabilitation treatment and nursing care) and combined training group (received neuromuscular electrical stimulation based on routine training group).Therapeutic effects, scores of video fluorography (VFG) and swallowing quality of life (SWAL-QOL) questionnaire before and after treatment were compared between two groups.Results: After treatment, total effective rate of combined training group was significantly higher than that of pure training group (95.35% vs.69.77%, P=0.006).Compared with pure training group after treatment, there was significant rise in VFG score [(5.74±1.86) scores vs.(6.88±2.32) scores], and significant reduction in SWAL-QOL score [(762.66±27.22) scores vs.(648.22±29.62) scores] in combined training group, P=0.025, 0.001 respectively.Conclusion: Compared with swallowing training alone, neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined swallowing training possesses better therapeutic effects, which is better for recovery of swallowing function.
5.Role of Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinaseⅡin chronic inflamnmtory pain in mice

Objective To investigate the role of ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II(CaMKII)in chronic inflammatory pain in mice.Methods Forty healthy male ICR mice weighing 20-25 g were randomly divided into 5 groups(n=8 each):group A control;group B chronic inflammation;group C KN92:group D KN93 30 nmol and group E KN93 45 nmo1.Chronic inflammatory pain was produced by injecting complete Freund's adjuvant(CFA) 20 ul into the dorsal surface of left hind paw in group B,C,D and E.In group A normal saline 20 ul was injected instead of CFA.On the 1st and 3rd day after CFA injection group D,E and Creceived intrathecal administration of specific CaMK Ⅱ inhibitor KN93 30 and 45 nmol and KN92 45 nmol(aninactive analog of KN93).in 5 ul respectively.Mechanical and thermal pain threshold to von Frey hair and radiantheat stimulation were determined at 30 min before CFA injection (To,baseline),30 min before(T1) and 30 min after IT.administration (T2) on the 1st day after CFA injection and at 30 min after IT administration(T3) on the 3rd day after CFA injection.The mice were immediately killed by C02 anesthesia after the last determination of pain threshold.The lumbar segment of the spinal cord Was then removed for determination of the expression of p-CaMK Ⅱ a by Western blotting.Results The thermal and mechanical pain threshold Was significantly decreasedat T1-3 in group B,C and D but only at T1 in group E as compared with the baseline values and group A.Thermal and mechanical pain threshold were significantly hisher at T2.3 in group E than in group B.p-CaMKⅡa expression in the spinal cord was significantly higher in group B,C and D than in group A but there was no significant difference in p-CaMKⅡa between group A and E.The p-CaMKII a expression in the spinal cord was significantyly lower in group E than in group B.Conclusion CaMK Ⅱ is involved in the development of chronic inflammatory pain.
6.Distribution and drug resistance analysis of common pathogens in neurocranial surgical inpatients

Objective To understand the distribution and drug resistance dynamic status of common pathogens isolated from neurocranial surgical inpatients to provide a basis for clinically rational use of antimicrobial drugs .Methods A total of 413 strains of pathogenic bacteria isolated from neurocranial surgical inpatients from January 2013 to June 2016 were performed the identifica-tion and drug susceptibility test by using the Compact Vitek-2 automatic bacterial identificantion analyzer and the drug susceptibility test results were analyzed by using the WHONET5 .6 software .Results The commonest pathogenic bacteria were 90 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa ,69 strains of Klebsiella pneumonia ,52 strains of Escherichia coli ,50 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii and 37 strains of Staphylococcus Aureus .The common bacteria were resistant to many antibiotic drugs .The detection rate of me-thicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus(MRSA) was 54 .1% ,no vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus was found .Conclu-sion Clinicians should concern about the common pathogens and their drug resistance in their department ,rationally select antibac-terial drugs ,increase the curative effect and reduce the occurrence of bacterial drug resistance .
7.Changes in expression of calcium channel ?1B subunit mRNA in dorsal root ganglion neurons in a rat model of neuropathic pain

Objective To determine the changes in expression of Ca2+ channel ?1B subunit mRNA in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons in a rat model of neuropathic pain. Methods Twenty-four SD rats weighing 160-220g were randomly divided into 3 groups with 8 animals in each group: (1) neuropathic pain group; (2) sham-operated group and (3) control group. In neuropathic pain group the animals were anesthetized with intraperitoneal phenobarbital 50 mg?kg-1 . The left L5 spinal nerve was exposed and ligated and cut. In sham-operated the left L5 spinal nerve was exposed but not ligated and cut. Control group underwent no operation. Bilateral paw withdrawal threshold to von Frey hair stimulation was measured before and 7, 14 days after operation. The animals were killed on the 14th day after operation and the left L5 DRGs were obtained for determination of Ca2+ channel ?1B subunit mRNA by in situ hybridization. Results Mechanical allodynia developed in neuropathic pain group but not in sham-operated group. 8.Current status of medical workers at pilot county hospitals in Hubei province and their perception of the reform

Objective To learn the present status of medical workers in pilot public hospitals in China and their response/perception of the health reform,and to analyze problems found in order to raise their satisfaction and incentives.Methods 1529 medical workers at 15 pilot county hospitals in Hubei province were surveyed by questionnaire.Results The data showed that nearly half of the doctors and nurses faced great stress and more than half of the medical workers' satisfaction was at a low level.Their responses indicated that they perceived themselves as having a low social status and nearly 80% were dissatisfied with their income.About 30%of medical workers lack understanding of the policies for public hospitals reform and more than 60%of them were less positive on achievement of the reform goals.Conclusion It is necessary to reduce their work stress and raise their income,create an incentive mechanism,strengthen the communications on the health reform,and ignite the morality of medical workers.
9.Policy making considerations for abolishing drug price plus policy at county hospitals in Hubei Province

Drug price plus policy had been in place at public hospitals since 1954 and began to phase out since 2009.Hubei province studied the profile and reform progress of 20 pilot county public hospitals before June 2012,and measured the drug income loss incurred by abolishment of this policy since 2012.It is recommended that the reform to abolish drug price plus policy in the province be made based on investigation,evaluation and academic research,prioritizing medical service pricing adjustment aided by government compensation.The authors proposed a new approach of medical service pricing to make up for the revenue gap caused by the abolishment.
10.Results analysis of blood lipids examination and health education strategies in medical workers

Objective To analyze the results of blood lipids examination in medical workers,so as to understand the cause of ab-normal blood lipid level and formulate the strategy of health education.Methods 500 cases of hospital workers were enrolled as subjects for the study.Under fasting conditions,the samples of the upper arm vein blood were collected,and the detection of total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),low-density lipoprotein(LDL),and high density lipoprotein(HDL)of serum were proceed on automated analyzers.The results were analyzed.Results In all the 500 workers,there were 152 cases with hyperlipoidemia,ac-counting for 30.4%.The dyslipidemia rate of male workers was 34.7%,and which of female workers was 24.4%.≤30 age group had the lowest dyslipidemia rate(12.9%),and >45-50 age group had the highest dyslipidemia rate(45.8%).There was signifi-cant difference between them(P <0.01).Conclusion The dyslipidemia rates of workers are different across age and gender.It is helpful for workers to have focused health education to improve their live qualities.
