The expression patterns of gastrin(Gas),β-endorphin(End).somatostatin(Ss),glucagons(Glu),and 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT)cells in the duck bursa of Fabricius were studied by the immunohiswchemicai method associated with image analysis. The resuhs showed that the Gas-positive cells with high intensity wrte seen in the follicle-associated epitllelium (FAE),the End with medium intensity in the interfollicular epithelium, the End,Gas and 5-HT with medium or high intensity in the cortex of lymphoid follicles.and the Gas with high intensity in the medulla of lymphoid follicles. Both SS and Gh showed negative reaction. The pre-sent results demonstrated that the Gas,End and 5-HT cells are differentially expressed in the different parts of the duck bursa. The positive cells distributed in the cortex of lymphoid follicles might favour exerting their influence via an endocrine, autocrine or paracrine pathways on the development of B cells.

Objective To provide the experimental basis for the further research of the interacting proteins with Stathmin ,the Stathmin gene Pichia pastoris expression system was constructed ,the expressed Stathmin product was purified and identified .Meth‐ods Stathmin gene was amplified from tumor cell line of SKBR3 by PCR method and cloned into the yeast expression vector pPIC3 .5K .The recombinant vector pPIC3 .5K‐Stathmin was constructed and transformed into Pichia pastoris GS115 .The positive clones were screened by YPD medium containing Geneticin 600 μg/mL .Expression was induced with 0 .5% methanol and expres‐sion products were identified by SDS‐PAGE and Western Blotting .Results DNA sequencing result showed that the gene fragment was consistent with Stathmin gene sequence .pPIC3 .5K‐Stathmin was selected from YPD culture medium containing Geneticin ,and the positive clones were identified by PCR .SDS‐PAGE showed that a 37 × 103 protein band could be seen on the PAGE gel after Coomassie Blue staining ,which was further confirmed and identified as Stathmin protein by Western Blotting .Conclusion Stathmin yeast expression vector is successfully constructed and expressed in Pichia pastoris ,which laid the foundation for the study of inter‐acting proteins with Stathmin ,and for the preparation of the biological treatment drugs of Stahtmin target .

Objective To investigate question comprehension and production among agrammatic aphasics, and to explore the mechanisms of any dysfunction in questioning. Methods Twenty aphasics were recruited in this study.According to the Chinese Agrammatism Battery,10 were classified as agrammatic (the agrammatic group) and 10 as non-agrammatic (the non-agrammatic group).Ten normal subjects served as a control group. All the subjects were tested in terms of their comprehension and production of questions using a set of general and what-where-who- why questions (wh-questions).Results No significant difference was found between the two experimental groups with regard to the correct comprehension and production of both general and wh-questions.However,there was a sig- nificant difference in correctness between comprehension and production. The performance of the agrammatic aphasics was worse than that of the non-agramatics and the normal subjects. Conclusion The impaired question comprehen- sion and production of Chinese agrammatic aphasics has its own characteristies which can form a basis for rehabilita- tion planning and outcome prediction.
