Objective Three common positions have been observed for its influence on the objective indicators of the patients with unilateral lung disease,and the change of subjective symptoms in these patients were collected.Methods The study group consisted of 93 patients who had unilateral lung diseases,each of which was randomly observed for three common positions (healthy side position,affected side position and the horizontal position) for 30 minutes respectively.In these patients,the changes of the objective indictors (heart rate,breathing,blood oxygen saturation,the mean arterial pressure) and subjective symptoms (chest stuffiness,breath is aggravating,etc.) were recorded.Results When using different positions,no statistical difference was observed with the heart rate,breathing,oxygen saturation and mean arterial pressure,whereas when affected side position was taken,the occurrence of worrisome symptoms was obviously higher than the condition when using healthy side position and the horizontal position.There was no statistical difference between the two groups of healthy side position and the horizontal position.Conclusions The occurrence of worrisome symptoms in the case of affected side po-sition is significantly more than the other two positions,indicating that patients with unilateral pulmonary disease are more willing to adopt the healthy side position and the horizontal position.

Objective To investigate selective pregnancy reduction in second-trimester and its notices. Methods Selective pregnancy reduction in 19 cases of multiple pregnancy during 12～25 gestational age was performed,including 6 cases of twins,1 cases of triplets,1 case of quadruplet and 1 case of sextuplet. Ultrasonographically guided transabdominal intracardiac injection of high concentrate potassium chloride (KCl) solution was used. Results Performances of selective feticide in all twins were successful,except one monochorionic twins. In 11 cases of triplets,one case was aborted,one case was monozygotic triplet. Selective feticide was performed successfully in 7 of the rest 9 cases and the quadruplet Two cases were aborted after the procedure. The sextuplet was aborted after feticide. Conclusion Multifetal pregnancy reduction can be successfully performed in the second trimester without severe maternal complications. But abortion might occur afterwards. It is possible to reduce the abortion rate if monozygotic twin or triplet can be excluded before feticide,choosing the gestational sac which near the fundus,reducing the amniotic fluid volume of the target fetus or postponing feticide.

Objective To provide histological evidence for clinic tendon reconstruction on severe medial collateral ligament injury in rabbits. Methods Medial collateral ligaments of two knee joints were completely incised to create own control model of MCL rupture. The operation group intimated the procedure of human being MCL reconstruction with semitendinous tendon. In the 4th,12th,16th,24th weeks, healing of MCL was observed by anatomy and the picrosirius-polarization method. Results In the 4th week, the MCL healing tissue of ex-periment group is more than control group. The average ratios of type Ⅲ collagen to Ⅰ, Ⅲ collagen in the experiment group [(0.263±0.075), (0.235±0.041), (0.210±0.045), (0.197±0.029)] were significantly lower than those in control group [(0.310±0.072), (0.286±0.045), (0.261±0.046), (0.236±0.043) ] in the 4th, 12th, 16th, 24th weeks, respectively (P < 0.05). Conclusions The semitendinons tendon reconstruction can improve MCL healing in early and middle period after injury.

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of dynamic changes of CD4~+ CD25~+ regulatory T cells(Treg)in patients subject to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplanta- tion(alIo-HSCT).Methods Forty-five patients received allo-HSCT.The graft-vesus-host disease (GVHD)was prevented by cyclosporine A and short-term MTX regimen in 31 patients.Fourteen of all the patients received Zenapox(CD25MAb)at the day of transplantation and day 4 after transplan- tation.The levels of Treg in peripheral blood were detected by flow cytometry from 45 patients at 2nd,4th,8th and 12th week after allo-HSCT and the time of aGVHD development,respectively.Re- suits Anti-CD25 could suppress the peripheral blood levels of Treg significantly.The Treg levels were significantly higher in patients with grade 0-1 aGVHD than those with 2-4 aGVHD at 8th and 12th week after transplantation.Among patients with 2-4 aGVHD,Treg levels were significantly low- er after development of aGVHD than before.Conclusions Treg are important for the aGVHD preven- tion and can be a useful clinical surveillant index for the development of aGVHD.It can significantly decrease the levels of Treg in the peripheral blood with anti-CD25.

OBJECTIVE: To establish an HPLC method with gradient elution for the determination of resorcinol and triamcinolone acetonide acetate in compound resorcinol cream. METHODS: The HPLC was conducted on a ZORBAX Eclipse XDB-C18 column (4.6 mm × 250 mm, 5 μm) with acetonitrile (A)-0.5% ammonium acetate solution (B) as the mobile phase. The gradient elution program was as follows: 0-3 min (25% A), 3-5 min (25% A-55% A), and 5-15 min (55% A). The column temperature was 40°C. The flow rate was 1.0 mL · min-1 and the detection wavelength was 240 nm. RESULTS: The linear ranges of resorcinol and triamcinolone acetonide acetate were 103.18-515.90 μmg · mL-1 (r=1.0000) and 1.336-6.680 μg · mL-1 (r=0.999 4), respectively. The average recoveries were 99.3% (RSD=0.62%) and 99.1% (RSD=0.73%), respectively. CONCLUSION: The proposed method is simple, rapid and accurate. Objective To investigate the immunity effects of quorum sensing in the pulmonary infection in rats due to Pseudomonas aeruginosa.Method(1)300 healthy,clean Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 3 groups randomly:two different Pseudomonas aeruginosa(the wide-type Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 and its double mutant PAO-JP2,in which the quorum sensing systems were defective,embedded in minute seaweed algiante beads which was made by an ejection set with an acuminate hole were inoculated to Sprague-Dawley rats to establish animal model of chronic pulmonary infection.The control group were dealed with the same methods using the sterile brine instead.(2)The levels of antibody IgG,IgM,IgG1,IgG2a to Pseudomonas aeruginosa in sera and cytokines including interferon-?(IFN-?),Interleukin-4(IL-4)in lung homogenate was measured at 3,7,14,28 days after infection.Results(1)The mortality in the PAO1-JP2-infected group(11.0%)was significantly lower than that of the PAO1-infected group(29.7%)and the control group(4.21%).(2) Compared with the PAO-JP2 group,during the early stages of infection(3 days after infection),the IFN-?level in lung homogenates was significantly higher;during the middle stages of infection(7 days after infection),the levels of IFN-?and IL-4 of PAO1-infected rats were significantly higher;In the later stages of infection(14 to 28 days after infection),levles of IFN-?,IgG2a were lower,while levels of IL-4,IgG,IgG1 were higher persistantly in PAO1-infected rats.Conclusions Quorum sensing system play an important role in pathogenesis and immunity effects of pseudomonas aeruginosa infection via modulating the expression of virulence factors and interfering with the immune system of hosts.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of different pressure oxygen pre-breathing in preventing decompression sickness of rats.

METHODSForty male SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: decompression sickness (DCS) group and three oxygen pre-breathing groups with 1 ATA, 2 ATA and 3 ATA pressure respectively. The rats of DCS group were placed in the hyperbaric chamber and the chamber was compressed evenly within 3 minutes to depths of 7 absolute atmosphere(ATA) and held at the designated depth for 60 min, then decompressed (3 min) at constant speed to the surface pressure. After that, the rats were taken out for further detection. While the rats of oxygen pretreatment groups pre-breathed different pressure oxygen for 20 min before entering into chamber. The mortality and behavioral of rats were observed with 30 min post decompression. The dry/wet ratio of the lung, protein levels in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), and the inflammatory cytokine tumor necrosis factor (TNF-alpha) expression were also tested.

RESULTSCompared with that of the DCS group, the mortality and morbidity of oxygen pre-breathe groups didn't change obviously. But the total BALF protein level and the inflammatory cytokine TNF-alpha expression of 1 ATA oxygen pre-breathe group were obviously decreased, while the dry/wet ratio of lung as obviously increased instead (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONAlthough preoxygenation can' t obviously change the mortality and mobidity of rats, normal pressure oxygen pre-breathing can mitigate the protein infiltration in BALF and the expression of inflammatory cytokine in lung tissue.

OBJECTIVE　To develop a method for the determination of theophylline in serum with concomitant use of ofloxacin.METHODS　Theophylline was serum was extracted with chloroform-hexane(7∶3,v/v) after some ammonium sulfate was added.It was re-extracted with NaOH solution (0.1 mol*L-1)and detected with a UV spectrophotometer at 275 nm and 299.5 nm respeitively.RESULTS　The method was linear over the range of 5.0～40.0 mg*L-1(r=0.9997,n=7).The average recovery of methodology was 100.3%(RSD=1.2%),and the extraction recovery from serum was 87.7%(RSD=4.6%).CONCLUSION　This practical method for the determination of serum theophylline can eliminate the interference of ofloxacin and other antibiotics.
