1.EFFECT OF ZINC DEFICIENCY ON MACROPHAGE AND MUCOSAL EPITHELIUM OF SMALL INTESTINE IN MICE
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(04):-
Zinc deficient model was made by feeding zinc deficient rations to mice. Their general appearance, body weight, organ body weight ratio, macroph-age (M?) and intestinal mucosal epithelium were observed. Rations intake of these Zn deficient mice decreased 2 weeks later. There was prominent difference in body weight between the Zn deficient (n = 24) and the control group (n =11), and the difference was more prominent 4 weeks later. The mortality of the mice in Zn dificient group was 29.17% while all of the control mice were alive. Weight of liver, spleen, kidney, adrenal glands thymus and the oryan body weight ratio of the thymus of Zn deficient mice decreased markedly. Under the scanning electron microscope, the following variance were shown. The superficial structure of M? in the Zn deficient group tended to be simplified, the pseudopodium tended to be decreased and short. The ratio of activated cells to total M?cells decreased to 56.4% while that of the control group was 81.9% (P
2.Expression and significance of peritoneal fluid EPO and ENA-78 in patients with endometriosis
Journal of Chinese Physician 2011;13(9):1197-1199
Objective To investigate the.expression and significance of peritoneal fluid (PF) erythropoietin (EPO) and neutrophils activation peptide-78 (ENA-78)in patients with endometriosis. Methods The levels of EPO and ENA-78 in peritoneal fluid (PF) were measured by means of enzymelinked immunosobent assay (ELISA) in 30 women with endometriosis (9 in Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ stage,21 in Ⅲ~ Ⅳ stage)and 30 without endometriosis. And the relationship between the PF levels of EPO and ENA-78 in patients with endometriosis was analyzed. Results The PF levels of EPO and ENA-78 in women with endometriosis [ (9.272 ± 2.284 ) IU/L,( 2.068 ± 0.794 ) ng/ml ] were significantly higher than those in control group [ (5.759 ±0.502) IU/L,(0.886 ±0.145 ) ng/ml,P <0.05].There were no significant differences in the PF levels of EPO between stage Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ [ (9.549 ± 1.996) IU/L] and Ⅲ ~ Ⅳ [ (9.181 ± 1.897) IU/L,P >0.05].The ENA-78 concentrations of PF in stage Ⅲ~ Ⅳ [ (2.517 ± 0.518 )ng/ml] were significantly higher than those in stage Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ[ ( 1.137 ±0.169)ng/ml,P <0.05].There were no obvious correlations in PF EPO and ENA-78 in patients with endometriosis. Conclusions The excessive expression of EPO and ENA-78 in the PF of women with endometriosis suggests that EPO and ENA-78 may be an important role in the pathogenesis of endometriosis.

Journal of Regional Anatomy and Operative Surgery 2013;(6):633-634
Objective To study the clinical anesthetic effect of butorphanol combined with propofol in painless gastroscopy. Methods 90 patientswith stomachache check were randomly divided into observation group and control group,45 cases each. The observation group was received butorphanol combined with propofol and the control group were treated with fentanyl combined with propofol. The heart rate of pa-tients before anesthesia, during checking and conscious, the change of blood pressure and oxygen saturation, respiratory depression and anes-thetic effect were analyzed. Results The heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation of two groups after treatment were decreased, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0. 05). The total volume of propofol and respiratory depression between the two groups were compared, the differences were statistically significant(P<0. 05). Conclusion Butorphanol combind with propofol in painless gastroscopy with long anesthesia time and low respiratory depression, which was worthy of promotion.

The purpose of applying modernized tongue diagnosis into clinical research is for providing objective basis for diagnosis, TCM syndrome differentiation, evaluation of illness condition and efficacy evaluation. This article analyzed the application of modernized tongue diagnosis in clinical research in recent years, summarized the application status and existing problems of applying tongue color, texture, shape, indentation, sublingual veins, microcirculation, and spectrum analytical techniques into the clinical research, with a purpose to provide references for further research on modernized tongue diagnosis.
5.Effects of pulmonary rehabilitation program on the depression and exercise capacity and pulmonary function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
The Journal of Practical Medicine 2015;(19):3159-3161
Objective To investigate the effects of pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) on the depression and exercises capacity and pulmonary function in elderly patients with stable moderate-to-severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods 38 participants [(68.01 ± 5.27) years old; moderate 28, severe 10] were en-rolled in a 6-month PR program with exercise training. Subjects measurements were made of the Epidemiologic Studies Depression scale (CES-D), 6-minute walk test (6MWT) and pulmonary function. Result The CES-D Scores before and after PR were 23.94 ± 4.86 vs. 14.66 ± 2.47, P = 0.000; 6 MWT and the percent of the predicted FEV1 before and after PR were (353.6 ± 27.90)m vs. (276.8 ± 30.95)m, P = 0.000, 58.09 ± 8.77 vs. 58.34 ± 7.94, P > 0.05. CES-D scores and exercise capacity improved after PR. But PR contributes nothing to the improvement of pulmonary function. Conclusion Although the PR improves the depression and exercise capacity in elderly patients with stable moderate-to-severe COPD , no statistically significant correlation was ob-served between depression scores and 6MWD and the percent of the predicted FEV1.
