1.Clinical observation of the treatment of ischemic heart failure with combination therapy esmolol and labetalol

Objective To study the effect of intravenous injection of esmolol,labetalol and their combination in the treatment of ischemic heart failure (ICD).Methods 80 patients with ICD were randomly divided into treat-ment group 1 (20 cases),treatment group 2(20 cases),treatment group 3 (20 cases)and control group(20 cases). The treatment group 1 was intravenously given esmolol on the basis of routine treatment.the treatment group 2 was intravenously given labetalol on the basis of the conventional treatment.the treatment group 3 was intravenously given esmolol and labetalol on the basis of routine treatment.The control group only received routine treatment.The thera-peutic effects of the four groups were observed and compared,and the changes of blood pressure,heart rate,walking distance and ultrasonic electrocardiogram before and after treatment were recorded.Results In the treatment group 1,3 cases with marked effect,effective in 14 cases,the total effective rate was 85%.In the treatment group 2,2 cases with marked effect,effective in 14 cases,the total effective rate was 80% cases.In the treatment group 3,4 cases with marked effect,effective in 15 cases,the total effective rate was 95%.In the control group,1 case with marked effect, effective in 10 cases,the total effective rate was 55%.The treatment effect of the treatment group 1,2,3 was better than the control group (P <0.05).The treatment effect of the treatment group 1,2 was significantly lower than the treatment group 3 (P <0.05).The treatment effect between the treatment group 1 and group 2 had no significant difference (P >0.05 ).After treatment,6 min walking distance and LVEF,FS,SV and other indicators of cardiac function were significantly improved in the four groups (P <0.05 ).The four groups had no significant adverse reactions such as nausea,vomiting,liver and renal function after treatment.Conclusion Intravenous injection of esmolol,labetalol or both drugs for treatment of ICD can improve cardiac function,with no adverse reaction,and it is safe and reliable,worthy of clinical application.
2.Bone-length measurement at low back and its application.

By reviewing some acupuncture literature regarding the settings of bone-length measurement at low back, it was found out that ancient and modern descriptions were not consistent. In China current acupuncture textbook, it was mostly described as "the horizontal distance between inner borders of two scapulas was 6 cun". However, after analysis, it was believed that this setting was not reasonable in the clinical application of acupuncture, and it was agreed with the opinion that "midpoint of inner borders of two scapulas when scapulas are in abduction position" should be taken as bone-length measurement of low back. Besides, a self-made bone-length scale was applied to locate acupoint at low back, which could provide references for its standardized application manipulation.

3.Progress of pathogenesis of aplastic anemia

Aplastic anemia is an acquired bone marrow failure syndrome,characterized by an empty bone marrow,pancytopenia,as well as anemia,bleeding,infection syndrome.The pathogenesis of aplastic anemia has not yet been completely clear.Some of the proposed causes include hematopoietic stem/ progenitor cell deficiency,immune disorders,and abnormalities in the hematopoietic microenvironment.In recent years,further clinical and experimental studies have accumulated to recognize the pathogenesis of aplastic anemia.
4.Lumbar disc herniation and andrological diseases.

Lumbar disc herniation is a common male disease. In the past, More academic attention was directed to its relationship with lumbago and leg pain than to its association with andrological diseases. Studies show that central lumber intervertebral disc herniation may cause cauda equina injury and result in premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain syndrome, priapism, and emission. This article presents an overview on the correlation between central lumbar intervertebral disc herniation and andrological diseases, focusing on the aspects of etiology, pathology, and clinical progress, hoping to invite more attention from andrological and osteological clinicians.

5.Construction of siBcl2-Ercc1 recombinant adenovirus and its effects on apoptosis of lung cancer cells

Objective Toexplore the effect of Bcl2 and Ercc1 gene on apoptosis by RNA interference of Bcl2 and Ercc1 gene expression in non-small cell lung cancer cell line. Methods shRNA targeting Bcl2 and Ercc1 gene were cloned into vector to construct recombinant adenovirus plasmids which were transfected into HEK293 cells. High titer adenovirus was obtained after package and amplification. H460 cells were infected with the adenovirus and apoptosis rate was detected by flow cytometry. Results The results of restriction endonuclease digestion showed that recombinantadenovirus vector adsiBcl2-Ercc1 was successfully constructed. The positive 1 200 bp amplification bands could be seen in PCR analysis , and the titer of the adenovirus was 5 × 1011/mL. The apoptosis rate of AdsiBcl2-Ercc1 was higher than that of the two single silenced gene groups. Conclusions The recombinant plasmids and recombinant adenovirus were successfully constructed. Silencing of Bcl2 and Ercc1 through shRNA promotes the apoptosisin lung cancer cells.
6.Research progress of NLRP3 inflammasome in atherosclerosis-related cells

Inflammasome, which is a large multiprotein complex in the cytosol regulating IL-1β production, plays an important role in atherosclerosis ( AS ) . To date, NLRP3 ( nucleotide-binding domain and leucine-rich repeat protein 3) inflammasome is the most widely studied type of inflammasome. This article aims to review the effects of NLRP3 inflammasome on AS-related cells ( endothelial cells, macrophages and vascular smooth mus-cle cells) to further explore the role of NLRP3 inflammasome in the progression of AS.
7.Consideration on the Improvement of the Current Drug Computer Control Systems in Our Hospital

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for the perfecting of hospital information system (HIS) on drug control. METHODS: The problems encountered in using two drug control systems in our hospital were analyzed, and the constructive suggestions on its improvemen was put forward. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: The new HIS should be designed to overcome the weaknesses of the current HIS in code design, assignment of authority limit, drug application and dispensing, drug stocktaking so as to make full use of the merit of the computer management.

9.Biodistribution and radioirnmunoimaging of monoclonal antibody to human melanoma in tumor-bearing nude mice

Biodistribution and radioimmunoimaging of monoclonal antibody HB8759 agaist human melanoma in tumor-bearing nudemice were investigated.The results showed that mean tumor: nontumor(5 main organs)ratios were 6.6 and 9.6 at 48 and 72hr after injection of the ~(131)Ⅰ—McAb,respectively,and tumor was clearly visualized under ECF at the same time.It is suggested that McAb HB8759 is a potential biologic product for diagnosis of metastic melanoma and intraocularmelanoma and clinical treatment of melanoma.
10. Oral levothyroxine plus intrathyroidal injection of dexamethasone in conversion of overt hypothyroidism caused by Hashimoto's thyroiditis

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of oral levothyroxine plus intrathyroidal injection of dexamethasone in conversion of overt hypothyroidism (OH) caused by Hashimoto' thyroiditis. Methods: Totally 356 patients with overt hypothyroidism caused by Hashimoto' thyroiditis were evenly randomized into 2 groups. Patients in levothyroxine group were treated with oral levothyroxine for 12 months to maintain the normal serum levels of free T4, free T3, and sensitive thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH); patients in dexamethasone group were treated with oral levothyroxine plus intrathyroidal injection of dexamethasone (5 mg each time, once a week for 8 times, followed by once in 2 weeks for 4 times, finally once in 4 weeks for another 4 times). Serum FT4, FT3, sensitive TSH, thyroglobulin antibody, thyroid peroxidase antibody, cortisol, and adrenocorticotropic hormone were determined before and 12 months after treatment. FT4 and sensitive TSH levels were regularly examined in patients. The recurrence of OH was deemed as the endpoint of the study and LT4 treatment was restored; if OH did not recur the patients were reevaluated till the end of the 16th weeks. Results: Sixteen weeks after the treatment, 12 (7%) patients in levothyroxine group had normal thyroid function, 21 (12%) had subclinical hypothyroidism, 141 (81%) had OH, and 4 patients withdrew from the study; in dexamethasone group the numbers were 35 (20%), 32 (18%), 108 (62%), and 3, respectively. Compared with levothyroxine group, patients in dexamethasone group had an absolute benefit increase (ABI) of 6% from overt to subclinical hypothyroidism with a number need to treat (NNT) of 17, and had an ABI of 13% and an NNT of 8 from OH to normal thyroid function. Levothyroxine plus dexamethasone therapy was more effective in reducing goiter and lowering the levels of thyroid autoantibodies in serum. There were not serious side effects in both groups. Conclusion: Oral levothyroxine plus intrathyroidal injection of dexamethasone therapy is superior to oral levothyroxine thyerapy in conversing OH to subclinical hypothyroidism or normal thyroid function.
