Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of vertebral pedicle screw internal fixation for thora-columbar fractures without neurological damage,and to provide guidance and assistance for the treatment.Methods The thoracolumbar fracture patients during our inpatient treatment without neurological damage clinical data of 76 cases were selected,patients were randomly assigned into the observation group and the control group,each within 38 cases. The observation group were treated by vertebral pedicle screw fixation technique in the treatment and control group for cross -vertebral fixation treatment.Patients before surgery,one week after surgery,three months after surgery and 12 months after surgery were followed up,and the perioperative parameters,radiographic parameters,visual analog scale (VAS)and back disability index (ODI)were compared.Results Perioperative parameter comparison and difference of the accuracy of pedicle screw no significant showed no statistically significance.Preoperative VAS,ODI, Vobb angle and vertebral anterior height ratio in the two groups showed no significant difference.After 12 months of observation group ODI score was (10.3 ±2.8)points,which was significantly lower than that (13.5 ±2.5)points in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (t =3.287,P <0.05).In addition,the observer group in VAS,surgery after Cobb angle and vertebral degree of restoration of vertebral height compared with control group,the differences were statistically significant (all P <0.05).Conclusion By using vertebral pedicle screw fixation for the treatment of thoracolumbar fractures without neurological damage shows efficacy,good prominent vertebral body height restoration,fewer complications,safety and reliable,which is worthy of clinical application.

AIM To explore the effects of Kaixin Powder (Polygalae Radix,Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma,Poria and Acori tatarinowii Rhizoma) on hippocampal long-term potentiation (LTP) in vivo in APP/PS1 transgenic mice and expression of PSD-95 in hippocampus CA1 area and cerebral cortex.METHODS Thirty-two 3-monthold male APP/PS1 mice were randomly divided into model group,Donepezil [0.75 mg/(kg · d)] group,Kaixin Powder [1.5,3 g/(kg · d)] groups.C57/BL6 mice were used as the control group.Kaixin Powder and Donepezil were administered to the APP/PS1 mice for three months,respectively.Afterwards,the LTP in vivo was recorded in a perforant pathway-dentate gyrus in the hippocampus.Immunohistochemical method was used for measuring the expression of PSD-95 in hippocampus CA1 area and cerebral cortex.RESULTS The fEPSPs slopes were significantly decreased in the model group as compared with the control group.Kaixin Powder or Donepezil treatment significantly enhanced the fEPSPs slopes in the model group.The average optical density of PSD-95 positive cells in hippocampus CA1 area and cerebral cortex was obviously decreased in the model group.Donepezil increased the average optical density of PSD-95 positive cells in hippocampus CA1 area.Kaixin Powder [1.5 g/(kg · d)] increased the average optical density of PSD-95 positive cells in hippocampus CA1 area and cerebral cortex.Kaixin Powder [3 g/(kg · d)] increased the average optical density of PSD-95 positive cells in cerebral cortex.CONCLUSION Kaixin Powder can promote the LTP formation in APP/PS1 transgenic mice and enhance synaptic plasticity,which may be related to the regulation of protein expression of PSD-95.

Innate immunity is on the frontline of fight against pathogenic microorganism invasion .As a DNA sensor, absent in melanoma 2 (AIM2) is an important member of innate immune system.It can recognize dsDNA of pathogenic microbes to form AIM 2 inflammasomes , which facilitates defending and clearing the invasion of pathogens by activating caspase-1 dependent pyroptosis and the mature of IL-18 and IL-1β.AIM2 inflammasomes play an important part in responding to Listeria monocytogenes, Francisella tularensis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Aspergillus fumigatus, vaccinia virus , murine cytomegalovirus , and hepatitis B virus infections .This paper introduces the components of AIM 2 inflammasomes and summarizes its function in defending the invasion of pathogenic microorganisms .

Objective To modify gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) for determination of plasma sufentanil concentrations.Methods Fentanyl was used as the internal standard.The plasma samples were extracted with ethyl acetate and petroleum ether.An HP-5MS capillary column was used.The initial temperature of the column was set at 130 ℃,and the final temperature was 320 ℃.The injector port temperature was set at 290 ℃,and the interface temperature was 300 ℃.The carrier gas was high purity helium (purity 99.999％) with a constant flow rate of 1 ml/min.The injection volume was 1 μl with splitless injection.The MS conditions were as follows:EI source,ion source temperature 230 ℃,four-pole temperature 150 ℃,electron bombardment energy 70 eV,multiply voltage 2112 V,selective ion monitoring mode,solvent delay 7 min.The characteristic ions of sufentanil and fentanyl were obtained in 8.20-8.40 min and 7.60-7.80 min,respectively,according to the characteristic ion curve of sufentanil and fentanyl.Results The standard curve of sufentanil had good linear relationship in the range of 0.02-10.00 ng/ml and the equation was Y =0.1625X + 0.0316,R2 =0.9987.The extraction recovery was more than 80％,intra-day and inter-day determinations were less than 8％,and the limit of detection was 0.02 ng/ml.Conclusion When modified GC-MS is applied to determine the concentrations of sufentanil in plasma,not only the determination is sensitive and accurate,but also the procedures are simplified,and it is more suitable for the pharmacological research of sufentanil.

Objective To analyse the personality characteristics of medical undergraduate and graduate newcomers. Methods Cattell 16 Personality Factor Questionnaires (16PF) were employed to assess the personality of 675 undergraduate newcomers (306 males and 369 females) and 155 graduate newcomers (76 males and 79 females),and the results were compared with the established findings of the country. Objective To investigate the clinical superiority of Chaiqin tiaogan capsule in the treatment of hepatitis B virus.Methods 126 cases of patients admitted to hospital from January 2014 to June 2015 were randomly divided into two groups, the control group (interferon and lamivudine) and the experimental group (interferon, lamivudine and Chaiqin tiaogan capsule), each group of 63 cases.The HBsAg and HBV-DNA negative rate, the changes of liver function and the incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group were observed and compared.Results The HBsAg negative rate and the HBV-DNA negative rate after treatment three and six months in the control group were significantly higher than the experimental group ( P<0.05).The levels of ALT, AST and DBiL in the control group and the experimental group were significantly decreased, and the levels of ALT, AST and DBiL after treatment six months in the control group were significantly lower than the experimental group ( P <0.05 ) .There were no serious adverse reactions in the control group and experimental group, there was no significant difference between two groups.Conclusion Chaiqin tiaogan capsule can effectively inhibit HBV replication and improve liver function, it has good tolerability and safety applied to clinical.

Objective To analyze the factors which influence the present nursing management ability in the alliance and to provide theoretical evidences and methods to improve the management. Methods 120 nursing administrators from 7 hospitals in the alliance were selected in convenience sampling for the site survey with customized questionnaires on nursing management ability appraisal. Results The valid return rate of the questionnaires is 100%;the average score of all respondents is 82.84±10.10;the differences in nursing management between the leading hospital and its members are statistically significant (P <0.05)while the differences among the members are not.Conclusion The leading hospitals play a very important role in improving the nursing management ability and administration in the alliance,which should integrate and leverage leadership roles to develop high quality nursing management among the hospitals in the alliance.
