Objective To determine loganin in productions of Liuweidihuang. Methods The chromatographic column was shim-packvp ODS-C18 (4.6 mm?150 mm,5 ?m),the mobile phase was THF-acetonitrile-methanol-0.05%H4PO3 (1∶8∶4∶87),the detection wavelength was 236 nm,the temperature of column was 40 ℃ and the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. Results A good linearity of loganin was in the range of 4.42?10-2～22.1?10-2 ?g,r =0.999 7,and the average recovery rate was 98.96% (n =6,RSD=1.42%). Conclusion The method provided a reference for evaluating and controlling quality of series productions of Liuweidihuang.

Objective To establish the determination of luteolin and 1,7-dihydroxy-3,8-dimethoxyxanthone in Herbal Gentianopsis paludosa. Method The RP-HPLC with ZORBAX SB-C18 (250 mm?4.6 mm, 5 ?m) comlum was used. Mobile phase was methanol (A)-0.4% H3PO4 (B) Gradient elution was used, 0～15 min, A∶B=50∶50, 15～60 min, A∶B=55∶45. Detection wavelengh was 260 nm. Flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. Temperature of column was 30 ℃. Result The linear relationship of 1,7-dihydroxy-3,8-dimethoxyxanthone and luteolin were showed at the range of 0.084～0.84 ?g and 0.184～1.84 ?g (r=0.999 4 and r =0.999 7). Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of sorafenib in the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma.Methods The clinical date of 33 patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma from September 2007 to April 2012 was reviewed retrospectively.26 were males and 7 were females,with an average age of 69 years.Pathological diagnosis showed 30 clear cell RCCs,2 papillary RCCs,and 1 unclassified RCC.These patients were treated by sorafenib 400 mg twice a day until intolerable toxicity or disease progression.The primary end points were objective response rate,clinical benefit rate,median survival time,median progression-free survival and the incidence of adverse reaction.Results All patients were evaluable for response and toxicity,with 8 patients (24％) of partial remission,19 cases (58％) of stable disease,and 6 cases (18％) of disease progression.The disease control rate was 82％,the median progression-free survival was 10.2 months,while the median survival time was 16.5 months.The common adverse reactions included hand-foot skin reaction (61％),diarrhea (46％),hypertension (21％).Most adverse reactions occurred around the second week after drug therapy,with the duration unequal.The majority of adverse reactions could be released by symptomatic treatment,which did not affect the medication.Conclusion Sorafenib has good short term efficacy for patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma,and most adverse reactions were tolerable.

Objective To explore the effects of high glucose on oxidative stress of human peritoneal mesothelial cells(HPMCs).Methods HPMCs were cultured in vitro and identified by immunohistochemistry, and cells of second generation were selected. After HPMCs were treated by glucose with different concentrations for some time, MTT method was employed to detect the cell viability. 2’,7’-dichlorofluorescein diacetate (DCFH-DA) was used as a reactive oxygen species (ROS) capture. The cell viability of HPMCs and ROS level were analysed after being intervened by glucose with different concentrations and for different time. OBJECTIVE:To establish the quality standards for Shenshuaikang granule. METHODS:TLC was used for the quali-tative identification of Astragali Radix and Rhei Radix et Rhizoma in the preparation. HPLC was used for the contents determina-tion of emodin and chrysophanol ,the column was Agilent HC-C18 with mobile phase of methanol-0.1% phosphoric acid (85:15 , V/V)at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,the detection wavelength was 254 nm,the column temperature was 30 ℃ and the injection vol-ume was 10 μl. RESULTS:TLC showed clear spots and good separation. The linear range was 1.9-60.8 μg/ml for emodin(r=0.999 9, n=6) and 1.6-51.2 μg/ml for chrysophanol (r=0.999 9),RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 3%,recoveries were 95.76%-103.66%(RSD=2.83%,n=9)and 97.24%-104.34%(RSD=2.65%,n=9),respectively. CONCLU-SIONS:The standard can be used for the quality control of Shenshuaikang granule.

Objective: To investigate the prevalence and influencing factors of repeated HIV antibody tests among men who have sex with men (MSM) in Wuhan City, so as to provide insights into the development of interventions against AIDS among MSM. Methods: MSM with self-reported homosexual behaviors in a community studio in Wuhan City were recruited using a convenient sampling method from January to April 2019, and participants' demographic features, sexual behaviors, HIV antibody tests and recognition of HIV antibody tests were collected using questionnaires. Factors affecting repeated HIV antibody tests were identified using a multivariable logistic regression model. Results: Totally 300 valid questionnaires were recovered, with a mean age of (31.06±10.24) years. Among all the participants, 196 participants had the first homosexual behaviors over 18 years of age (65.33%), 107 participants were insertive partners (35.67%), and 125 participants received sex-transmitted diseases (STDs) tests in the past six months (41.67%). The mean score for recognizing the risk of HIV infection was 12.41±3.09, for HIV antibody test self-efficiency was 17.07±2.12, and for perceived social supports was 17.42±2.41. A total of 287 respondents received HIV antibody tests (95.67%), including 192 participants receiving repeated HIV antibody tests (64.00%). Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that age of >18 years for the first homosexual sex behavior (OR=0.404, 95%CI: 0.223-0.734), receiving STDs tests in the past six months (OR=3.896, 95%CI: 2.145-7.076), sex role as receptive partners or both receptive and insertive partners (OR=0.502, 95%CI: 0.275-0.917), satisfying with HIV antibody test services (OR=2.955, 95%CI: 1.311-6.660), and high score for HIV antibody test self-efficiency (OR=1.149, 95%CI: 1.005-1.314) were factors affecting repeated HIV antibody tests among MSM. Conclusions The detection of repeated HIV antibody tests was 64.00% among MSM in Wuhan City in 2019, and age for the first homosexual behavior, STDs tests, sex role, evaluation of HIV antibody test services and self-efficiency of HIV antibody tests may be factors affecting repeated HIV antibody tests among MSM.

Telemedicine is one of the five key components of the "Internet Plus Healthcare".Due to its high speed,real-timeness,low cost,and wide spread,telemedicine is highly feasible in the prevention and control of major infectious diseases.This article introduces the practiceof telemedicine in Peking Union Medical College Hospital during the cornavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)epidemic,during which the network resources were applied to break geographical restrictions and resolve communication barriers between hospitals and departments.This article summarizes the telemedicine application before,during and after COVID-19 control and elucidates how to build a telemedicine prevention and control system for infectious diseases,with an attempt to further improve telemedicine and is application in the public health emergency system in China.

Background Sirius system,a new Scheimpflug camera combined with Placido topography,improved the capability of imaging the anterior eye segment significantly.However,the study of assessing the repeatability and agreement between Sirius and Pentacam is still lack up to now.Objective This study was to evaluate the repeatability and agreement of the anterior ocular segment measuring parameters by Sirius and Pentacam in myopia received laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK).Methods Thirty-five myopic eyes of 35 patients received LASIK were included in School of Optometry and Ophthalmology Eye Hospital from 2010 May through 2010 July.Corneal power flat keratometry (Kf),step keratometry (Ks),mean keratometry (Km),thinnest corneal thickness(TCT),the location of TCT,anterior chamber depth (ACD) and anterior chamber volume (ACV) were measured by Sirius and Pentacam in all the eyes,respectively.The repeatability of the measuring results were evaluated using intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) and Cronbach's coefficient alpha (CoA),and the agreement of measuring parameters between Sirius and Pentacam was analyzed using Bland-Altman plot.Results Both Sirius and Pentacam demonstrated high intraobserver repeatability,with all ICC and CoA more than 0.90.No significant differences were found in Kf values and Ks values between the two methods (t =-1.533,-1.750,P＞0.05).Km value was (39.14 ± 1.95) D by Sirius measurement,which was sígnificantly higher than (39.05 ± 1.91) D by Pentacam measurement (t =3.572,P =0.001).The TCT was (457.6 ± 40.9) μm by Sirius method,showing a significant reduce in comparison with (465.4±37.5) μm of Pentacam method (t =-6.689,P＜0.001).A positive correlation was seen in the TCT between the two methods (r=0.988,P＜0.001).The Bland-Alrman plots showed the 95％ CI-21 μm to 6 pm in the TCT value between the two devices.Pairwise comparison of the location of TCT measurements showed significant differences between the two devices (t =-4.132,-5.696,P＜0.001),with a good correlation (r=0.751,0.775) and the 95％ CI (-0.36-0.17 mm,-0.35-0.12 mm).A very good agreement was seen in ACD between the two devices (-0.02-0.12 mm),but the agreement result was not very well in the ACV between the two devices with the 95％ CI (-27.70-6.20 mm3).Conclusions Sirius and Pentacam measurements for anterior ocular segment parameters have a very good repeatability in post-LASIK eyes.In addition,good agreement results are exhibited in corneal power,TCT and ACD between Sirius and Pentacam with an acceptable maximal different value between them.Sirius and Pentacam can be used interchangeably in clinical examination.However,the two devices can not interchangeably for ACV measurement and TCT location.

Glaucoma is a group of diseases which can threaten and damage the optic nerve and its visual pathway, leading to visual impairment as a result. Glaucomatous optic neuropathy is a chronic disease accompanied by apoptosis of retinal ganglion cells ( RGCs ) , visual field defect and cupping of optic nerve head. The gold standard in functional glaucoma evaluation is standard automated perimetry ( SAP) , but it is often limited to the subjective feelings of the patients. Still, visual electrophysiological techniques cannot replace the conventional inspection, but with its rapid development, it has provided a new strategy for the early diagnosis of glaucoma as a supplement because it can show changes in amplitude and latency before visual field defect. Here we review three special electroretinograms and multifocal focal visually evoked potentials in the early diagnosis of glaucoma.
