2.Autologous stem cell transplantation for multiple myeloma in the era of new drugs
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2015;(1):8-12
Autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) is the standard frontline therapy for newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (MM) in patients younger than 65 years in the era of conventional chemotherapy. The use of novel drug-based chemotherapy in the in-duction, consolidation, and maintenance phases of chemotherapy has significantly improved the response rates of patients. Thus, wheth-er or not ASCT is still necessary in the era of new drugs has become controversial. Currently available data supported that ASCT should be the frontline therapy for qualified newly diagnosed MM patients and that new drugs may be applied before and after ASCT to further improve the response rate and prolong the progression-free survival of patients. Further prospective clinical trials should be conducted to clarify the role of ASCT in MM and optimize the treatment strategies involving ASCT in the era of new drugsto cure myeiona.
3.Therapeutic options for newly diagnosed multiple myeloma
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2008;17(5):389-391
According to the latest classification of International Myeloma Working Group(IMWG),multiple myeloma(MM)is roughly classified into two groups, asymptomatic myeloma(smoldering myeloma)and symptomatic myeloma. The former is equal to the stage Ⅰ of Durie-Salmon(DS),and patients of this type only wait and see,and do not need any therapy. The later is equal to stage Ⅱ and Ⅲ of DS,and patients of this type need therapy immediately.Autologous stem cell transplantation(ASCT)is recommended by National Comprehensive Cancer Network(NCCN)for patients with stage Ⅱ or Ⅲ myeloma with good performance status in 2007.Different therapeutic regiwen should he selected for newly diagnosed MM patients according to whether ASCT is suitable or not.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2016;32(11):803-805
Introduced in the paper is the development and building of motor medical equipment in China, namely vehicle-mounted field hospitals, cabin hospitals, hospital ships, and rescue helicopters among others. It is pointed out that such development falls far from complete in the country,as evidenced in the poor development for airborne, and an integrated medical rescue system covering land, sea and air needs to be further enhanced in the future.

Objective To investigate the electromyographic changes in the anterior temporal and masseter muscles of patients with long-term unilateral mandibular first molar loss. Methods Eighteen patients with one-year or more than one-year loss of unilateral mandibular first molar were selected as experimental group, and eighteen volunteers from similar places, had similar dietary habits in the same age and gender with normal occlusion were recruited as control group. Surface electromyography was used for the evaluation of the electrical activities of bilateral anterior temporal and masseter muscles in mandibular postural position ( MPP ) , maximal clenching in intercuspal position ( ICP) and masticating situations. The data were analyzed using SPSS 17. 0 software package to compare the differ-ences among groups. Results The average electrical activities of anterior temporal and masseter muscles in MPP of experimental group were significantly higher than the contral group, and the missing side was higher than the non-missing side ( P <0. 05 ) . The average electrical activities of anterior temporal and masseter muscles in maximal clenching and masticating were significantly lower than the control group, especially in the masticating situation( P<0. 05 ) . The asymmetry index of anterior temporal muscles and masseter muscles in MPP and maximal clenching were significantly different(P<0. 05). Conclusion Long-term loss of unilateral mandibular first molar can affect the electrical activities of the anterior temporal muscles and masseter muscles in the experimental group, especially for the missing side and in the masticating situation. These results also suggest that it might be one of the potential factors on mastication system disorders.

Objective To investigate the protective effect of short-term moderate exercise on ischemic/reperfused myocardium and its correlation to the activation of protein kinase C(PKC).Methods Fourty Wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups(n=10 respectively): control group(CON group),exercise group(EXE group),exercise + PKC inhibitor group(E+C group) and PKC inhibitor group(CHE group). The occurrence of arrhythmia, the recovery of cardiac function, and infarct size were observed by using the Langendorff-ischemia/reperfusion model in isolated rat heart in vitro. Results Recovery rate of LVDP(on the 30th and 60th minute of reperfusion) and RPP(on the 20th,30th and 60 minute of reperfusion) of EXE group were higher than those of CON and E+C groups(P

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2004;0(08):-
Objective To research the mobile medical units' portable equipment for Olympic safeguard service. Methods Relevant scientific literatures and combined the actual medical supporting tasks during the Olympic safeguard service were reviewed, and studied the portable equipments, instruments and medicines of the mobile medical units. Results Combined with the mobile medical units' actual characteristics, the principle was small size and efficient, multifunctional, simple and practical. The portable equipment was not only first-line treatment, but also taken into account advanced treatment, they can adapt to different environment and better coordination of the tasks to be performed. Conclusion Perfect portable equipment is very important way to enhance the whole capacity of mobile medical units for medical supporting in Olympic safeguard service.

Objective To analyze emergency medical treatment measures and the problems encountered during disaster relief in Chinese intemational rescue team (CIRT) , and to provide reference to improve the level of medical assistance. Method The data were based on the materials of the emergency medical rescue work in Haiti earthquake disaster by CIRT. The data were retrospectively analyzed. Results From January 13 , 2010 to January 27, 2010, CIRT provided medical service for more than 2500 wounded and sick persons, including 700 traumatic debridement, 150 operations, 12 the critical wounded. CIRT duged out 15 bodies. Conclusion Fast and prepara-tive job is the foundation to complete rescue mission with high-quality . The unique workflow ensure to complete the emergency medical rescue missions. Profession and multi-function is the basic quality for intemational rescue team members. Medical equipment regularization is needed.
