1.RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DIABETIC MICROANGIOPATHY AND RED CELL DEFORMABILITY
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(03):-
Red cell deformability in diabetics is much lower than that in normal controls. In patients with diabetic retinopathy, the decrease of red cell deformability is much more prominent than in patients without. Urinary albumin excretion rate in diabetic patients is inversely correlated with red cell deformability .The data above suggest that there is a close relationship between decreased red cell deformability and microangtopathy in diabetic patients
4.The morphological characteristics and complications treatment of dome-shaped macula in high myopia
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2016;32(3):323-326
Dome-shaped macula (DSM) of high myopia has been described as an inward convexity or bulge of the macular within the concavity of the posterior staphyloma in highly myopic eyes, with the bulge height over than 50 μm,which can be observed by optical coherence tomography. There are three patterns of DSM,including the typical round dome, the horizontally oriented oval-shaped dome and the vertically oriented oval-shaped dome. The pathogenesis of DSM development remains unclear, several hypotheses have been suggested, such as localized choroidal thickening in the macular area, relatively localized thickness variation of the sclera under the macula, resistance to deformation of sclera staphyloma, ocular hypotony and tangential vitreoretinal traction.Vision-threatening macular complications of DSM including serous retinal detachment, choroidal neovascularization, foveoschisis and retinal pigment epithelial atrophy.Clinically, asymptomatic patients with DSM mainly take regular follow-up observation.Appears serous retinal detachment and significant visual impairment, treatment with half-dose photodynamic therapy, supplementary of laser photocoagulation or oral spironolactone may have a beneficial effect. However, more large clinical studies are required to confirm the exact efficacy of these treatments.
5.MicroRNA-126 effects on free flap activity by regulating bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(36):5332-5337
BACKGROUND:MicroRNA has tissue and cel specificity, and high expression of endothelial cel-specific microRNA-126 (miR-126) plays an important role in angiogenesis.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of miR-126 on transplanted free flap survival and histological activity as wel as its mechanism in angiogenesis.
METHODS:Transient transfection technology was used to enhance the expression of miR-126 in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s. Expression levels of macrophage inflammatory protein-1α, tumor necrosis factor-αand vascular cel adhesion molecule-1 mRNA were detected by real-time PCR, and expression levels of ERK1/2, AKT, pERK1/2, pAKT protein were measured by western blot assay. Forty-eight Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups (n=16 per group), fol owed by preparation of abdominal free flap models. Rats in the three groups were given injection of miR-126 mimics-transfected cel s, miR-126 mimics control-transfected cel s and PBS 1 cm and 3 cm distal to the free flap, respectively.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Expression levels of macrophage inflammatory protein-1α, tumor necrosis factor-αand vascular cel adhesion molecule-1 mRNA in the cel s transfected with miR-126 mimics were decreased by 36, 3.5 and 14 times compared with those in the PBS group, respectively. Expressions levels of ERK1/2, AKT, pERK1/2, pAKT protein in the distal free flap increased significantly in the miR-126 mimics group than the other two groups, as did the ratios of pAKT/AKT and pERK1/2/ERK1/2. In addition, the expression levels of macrophage inflammatory protein-1α, tumor necrosis factor-αand vascular cel adhesion molecule-1 protein in the flap tissue fluid were significantly lower in the miR-126 mimics transfection group than the other two group. Al these findings suggest that miR-126 can promote free flap survival by creating favorable conditions for angiogenesis in the free flap tissue.
6.Relationship between Co-expression Levels of ICOS and CD28 on Peripheral Blood CD4+ and CD8+ T Cells and Behcet’s Disease
Acta Medicinae Universitatis Scientiae et Technologiae Huazhong 2015;(6):718-721
Objective To study the relationship between the co‐expression levels of inducible costimulatory molecule (ICOS)and CD28 on peripheral blood CD4+ and CD8+ T cells and Behcet’s disease(BD).Methods Flow cytometry was used to detect the expression levels of ICOS and CD28 on peripheral blood CD4+ and CD8+ T cells of BD patients(n=22) ,including those with active BD(ABD ,n= 14)and stable BD(SBD ,n= 8) ,and of normal subjects(n= 22).Results The proportion of CD28+ ICOS+ CD4+ T cells was significantly increased in ABD patients when compared with normal subjects [(34.72 ± 12.87)% vs.(25.36 ± 8.24)% ,P<0.05].No significant difference was found in the proportion of CD28+ ICOS+ CD8+ T cells [(9.32 ± 4.57)% vs.(7.24 ± 3.36)% ,P>0.05]between the two groups. The proportions of CD28-ICOS+ CD4+ T cells and CD28-ICOS+CD8+ T cells were both obviously increased in ABD patients when compared with those in normal subjects[(2.54 ± 1.63)% vs.(0.76 ± 0.25)% for CD28- ICOS+ CD4+ T cells ,P< 0.05;(8.79 ± 3.41)% vs.(3.04 ± 1.25)% for CD28-ICOS+CD8+ T cells ,P<0.05].Conclusion The increased expression level of ICOS on peripheral blood CD4+ and CD8+ T cells is not closely associated with the expression of CD28 to some extent in BD patients ,suggesting that cells expressing only ICOS play an important role in the development of BD.

8.EML4-ALK fusion oncogene and non-small cell lung cancer
China Oncology 2000;0(06):-
Non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) is one of the most life-threatening human malignancies due to its high morbidity and mortality rates.Molecular targeted therapy is promising in treating some patients with NSCLC.However,it is still challenging to select proper candidates. The EML4-ALK fusion oncogene represents a novel molecular target which appears mainly in lung adenocarcinoma, and appears to be a potential biomarker associated with resistance to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors. This review was intended to outline current status of preclinical and clinical research of this molecule.
9.Association between renin activity, angiotensin Ⅱ and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome
Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2000;0(11):-
Objective To investigate the association between renin-like activity (RA) and angiotensin Ⅱ (AⅡ) and the ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). Methods Blood samples were taken from 42 patients undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF). According to the ovarian stimulating response, the patients were divided into 4 groups: group Ⅰ, low responders, 7 cases; group Ⅱ, moderate responders, 8 cases; group Ⅲa high responders without using albumin, 7 cases, group Ⅲb, high responders with albumin, 10 cases; group Ⅳ, severe and moderate OHSS, 10 cases. 5 patients for intrauterin insemination with natural cycle as control. Follicular fluid (FF) was collected at oocyte retrieval from 28 IVF patients (including 7 OHSS patients). Fluid from ascites and hydrothorax was obtained from 3 OHSS patients, and peritoneal fluid obtained from 5 infertility patients by laparoscopy and ascitic fluid obtained from 6 ovarian carcinoma patients served as control. RA and AⅡ levels were measured by radioimmunoassay. Results plasma RA and AⅡ levels at mid-luteal phase from OHSS patients [(19.9?19.0)?g?L -1 ?h -1 and (397.0?378.2) ng/L] were significantly higher than those from the other patients ( P
