1.RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DIABETIC MICROANGIOPATHY AND RED CELL DEFORMABILITY
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(03):-
Red cell deformability in diabetics is much lower than that in normal controls. In patients with diabetic retinopathy, the decrease of red cell deformability is much more prominent than in patients without. Urinary albumin excretion rate in diabetic patients is inversely correlated with red cell deformability .The data above suggest that there is a close relationship between decreased red cell deformability and microangtopathy in diabetic patients

7.Relationship between Co-expression Levels of ICOS and CD28 on Peripheral Blood CD4+ and CD8+ T Cells and Behcet’s Disease
Acta Medicinae Universitatis Scientiae et Technologiae Huazhong 2015;(6):718-721
Objective To study the relationship between the co‐expression levels of inducible costimulatory molecule (ICOS)and CD28 on peripheral blood CD4+ and CD8+ T cells and Behcet’s disease(BD).Methods Flow cytometry was used to detect the expression levels of ICOS and CD28 on peripheral blood CD4+ and CD8+ T cells of BD patients(n=22) ,including those with active BD(ABD ,n= 14)and stable BD(SBD ,n= 8) ,and of normal subjects(n= 22).Results The proportion of CD28+ ICOS+ CD4+ T cells was significantly increased in ABD patients when compared with normal subjects [(34.72 ± 12.87)% vs.(25.36 ± 8.24)% ,P<0.05].No significant difference was found in the proportion of CD28+ ICOS+ CD8+ T cells [(9.32 ± 4.57)% vs.(7.24 ± 3.36)% ,P>0.05]between the two groups. The proportions of CD28-ICOS+ CD4+ T cells and CD28-ICOS+CD8+ T cells were both obviously increased in ABD patients when compared with those in normal subjects[(2.54 ± 1.63)% vs.(0.76 ± 0.25)% for CD28- ICOS+ CD4+ T cells ,P< 0.05;(8.79 ± 3.41)% vs.(3.04 ± 1.25)% for CD28-ICOS+CD8+ T cells ,P<0.05].Conclusion The increased expression level of ICOS on peripheral blood CD4+ and CD8+ T cells is not closely associated with the expression of CD28 to some extent in BD patients ,suggesting that cells expressing only ICOS play an important role in the development of BD.
8.MicroRNAs in the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2014;(3):52-54
Objective To analyze the clinical value of microRNAs applied in the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Methods The expression of mir-155,mir-196a,mir-181a,mir-181b in three pancreatic cancer cell lines PANC-1,PaCa-2,AsPC-1 pancreatic cancer, normal pancreatic cells and plasmas of 100 patients with pancreatic cancer ,100 normal volunteers were detected by Real-time PCR,and the results were analyzed. The expression of mir-155,mir-196a,mir-181a,mir-181b in 100 pancreatic cancer tissues and 100 normal pancreatic tissues were detected by immunohistochemical, and the results were analyzed. Results Real-timePCR test results showed that compared with normal pancreatic cells,mir-155,mir-196a expression in three pancreatic cancer cells PANC-1,PaCa-2,AsPC-1 were significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with healthy volunteers,mir-155,mir-196a,mir-181a,mir-181b expression of plasma in pancreatic cancer patients were significantly higher(P<0.05).Immunohistochemistry results showed that mir-155,mir-196a mir-181a and mir-181b expression in pancreatic tissue were significantly higher than that in normal pancreatic tissue (P <0.05 ).Conclusion The expression of mir-155,mir-196a,mir-181a and mir-181b are high in pancreatic cancer tissues and pancreatic cancer cell lines, which are closely related to the development of pancreatic cancer. Those microRNAs are expected to be cancer markers for early diagnosis of,pancreatic cancer, have highly diagnostic value and broad clinical application.

The Journal of Practical Medicine 2017;33(13):2157-2160
Objective To observe the effects of Er-YAG and surgical resection in the treatment of oral cav-ity mucous cyst. Methods A total of 63 patients with oral cavity mucous cyst ,selected in our hospital from March 2013 to May 2014,were divided into control group(n=31)and experimental group(n=32)based on dif-ferent therapies. The oral cavity mucous cysts in the experimental group and the control group were treated with Er-YAG and surgical resection ,respectively. The two groups were compared in terms of therapeutic effect. Results The cure rate in the two groups had no significant difference (P>0.05). The operation time in the experiment group was significantly shorter than the control group(P<0.05). In the experiment group, the incidence of intra-operative blood loss, postoperative edema and postoperative scarring were significantly lower than those of the con-trol group(P<0.05),but the two-year recurrence rate in the two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05). The SAS scores had no significant difference between the two groups at 1 week after operation (P > 0.05),but they were significantly higher in the experiment group than in the control group before operation and 3 days after op-eration(P < 0.05). In HAD emotional determination, the numbers of patients who had the manifestation of anxi-ety and depression in the experiment group were smaller than control group before operation and 3 days after opera-tion(P<0.05),but there was no significantly difference between the two groups at 1 week after operation(P >0.05). Conclusions The curative effect of Er-YAG in the treatment of oral mucous cysts is close to that by the conventional surgery, but the former is advantageous for easier operation, less postoperative complications and alle-viation of patientspsychology pressure, worthy of clinical spreading.
