3.AGE ESTIMATION BY DETERMINATION OF THE DEGREE OF ASPARTIC ACID RACEMIZATION IN DENTIN
Chinese Journal of Forensic Medicine 1986;0(01):-
The ratio of concentrations of D-aspartic acid and L-aspartic acid in dentin of 27 premoars of different ages was determined with chiral capillary column gas. chromatography. Acidic isopropanol and trifluoroacetic acid anhydride were derivative agents. The linear regression between the degree of racemization and age was established, r= 0. 9568, SD= 4. 5 years. This seems to be a new method which is more accurate and objective than others in age estimation with teeth.

5.Advance in the pharmacology of buthionine salfoximine
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1998;0(S1):-
Buthionine salfoximine (BSO) is a chemotherapeutic sensitizor under clinical trial. BSO can reverse multidrug resistance in vitro and in vivo. The author reviewed the mechanism, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics and the progress in clinical research of BSO. BSO is a selective inhibitor of 7-glutamylcysteine synthetase, the rate-limiting enzyme in gluthionine synthesis. Depletion of intracellular gluthionine by BSO can reverse tumor resistance to chemotherapeutic a-gents such as platinating and alkylating agents. In tumor-bearing animals BSO enhanced the therapeutic index of chemotherapeutic agents. Animals treated with BSO had a longer life span. Pharmacokinetics of BSO was a two-compartment manner in mice, dogs and huamn beings. The efficacy of BSO in cancer patients is being investigated in clinical trial.
6.The diagnostic value of secretory phospholipase A_2 and lysophosphatic acid for ovarian cancer
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2000;0(06):-
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of secretory phospholipase A2 (sPLA2) and lysophosphatic acid (LPA) for ovarian cancer and evaluate the correlation of sPLA2 activity and LPA level to the prognosis in the patients with ovarian cancer. Methods ~3H oleic acid labeled E. coli membrane and spectrophotometry were used to detect the original and recurrent ovarian cancer. The motive observation between sPLA2 activity and LPA level was done.At the same time, The sensitivity and specificity for the diagnosis of ovarian cancer were analyzed. Results Comparing the original ovarian cancer group with the ovarian benign tumor group, the difference between sPLA2 activity (24.47 ?5.64 U/L,4.94 ?1.86 U/L) and LPA levelc(6.35 ?2.32 ?mol/L,1.92 ?0.75 ?mol/L) were significantly (P
7.Effects of gambogenic acid on proliferation and apoptosis of A 549 lung cancer cells
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2015;(15):2180-2182
Objective To investigate the effects of gambogenic acid(GNA) on the proliferation and apoptosis of A549 lung canc‐er cells and its possible mechanism of regulation .Methods A549 cells were treated with different concentrations of GNA ,which di‐vided into control group and GNA group(0 .5 ,1 .5 ,20 mg/L) .The cell proliferation and apoptosis of A549 was analyzed by MTT , Hoechst staining ;The expression of apoptosis‐related protein caspase3 ,caspase9 ,p53 and NF‐κB were studied by Western blot .Re‐sults GNA could inhibit growth of A549 cells ;Moreover GNA could also induce apoptosis with the concentration increased more obviously ;Western blot showed that GNA down‐regulate NF‐κB ,increased caspase3 ,caspase9 and p53 expression(P<0 .05) .Con‐clusion GNA can efficiently promote the cell proliferation inhibition and the apoptosis of A 549 cells .

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
AIM To study the effects of cyclophosphamide (CTX) on the pharmacokinetics of buthionine sulfoximine (BSO)in Walker 256 tumor bearing rats. METHODS Walker 256 tumor bearing rats were treated ip for 4 days with saline or CTX in saline (20 mg?kg -1 ), then received iv BSO 200 mg?kg -1 . BSO concentration in rat plasma was determined by a reverse phase HPLC with fluorescence detection after precolumn derivatization with o phthaldialdehyde. Compartment model and pharmacokinetic parameters were determined by 3P87 software processed on a computer. RESULTS A single intravenous dose of BSO 200 mg?kg -1 was eliminated from plasma in a two compartment manner in tumor bearing rats. The pharmacokinetic parameters of BSO were as follows: In tumor bearing control rats, T 1/2? =(11 1?2 4) min, T 1/2? =(65?14) min, CLs=(12 8?1 3) ml?min -1 ?kg -1 , AUC=(262?26) mg?L -1 ?h; in tumor bearing CTX treated rats, T 1/2? =(8 2?1 8) min, T 1/2? =(42?3) min, CLs=(13 4?1 9) ml?min -1 ?kg -1 ,AUC=(252?35) mg ?L -1 ?h. CONCLUSION There is no significant difference between the parameters of tumor bearing control and CTX treated rats except T 1/2? .

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(10):-
Objective To investigate different clinicopathologic changes in myocardial infarction with and without cardiac rupture in the gerontal patients. Methods 107 gerontal patients with myocardial infarction (rupture group 22, non-rupture group 85) confirmed by necropsy during Jan. 1980 to Oct. 2003 were analyzed to compare the clinicopathologic findings between patients with cardiac rupture and without rupture. Results The mean age of rupture group was higher than that of non-rupture (79.1?9.1 vs 71.8?10.9 years old, P=0.0059). The number of female patients (50.0% vs 24.6%, P=0.0209) and the the number of patients suffering from myocardial infarction for the first time (57.3% vs 52.3%, P=0.0312) were both greater in the rupture group. Previous angina pectoris was significantly less frequently found in the rupture group compared with non-rupture group (45.5% vs 87.1%, P=0.0000). The mean number of major coronary arteries with over 75% stenosis was significantly lower in the rupture group (1.64 vs 2.28 branches/person, P=0.0068). The percentage of single major coronary arteries with significant stenosis was more often seen in the rupture group (59.1% vs 33.8%, P=0.0325). The site of cardiac rupture was more frequenfly located in anterior wall near the apex. Conclusion The results suggested that cardiac rupture occurred more often in older and female patients, in first myocardial infarction episode, with infrequent previous angina pectoris, and frequently involving a severe single coronary artery disease compared with those patients without cardiac rupture. The common location of rupture was anterior wall near the apex.
