Isolated fallopian tube torsion is an uncommon diagnosis. It
is particularly rare in the paediatric and post-menopausal
age groups. It lacks pathognomonic symptoms, signs and
imaging findings, yet each of these diagnostic steps plays a
crucial role in early diagnosis. We describe two cases of
isolated fallopian tube torsion in prepubertal females.

Isolated torsion of the fallopian tube is an uncommon event. It is a difficult condition to evaluate clinically before exploration. But once happened, promt surgical intervention may allow for preservation of the tube. Recently we experienced isolated tubal torsion with diagnosed hydrosalpinx, and report it with a brief review of literatures.

Primary carcinomas of the fallopian tube are very rare and account for approximately 0.1~1.1% of all gynecological malignancies. This case of primary fallopian tube adenocaricinoma was confirmed postoperatively on the basis of the pathologic examination of resected specimen. We have experienced this case and so report with the breif review of the literature.

6.Study on the causes and the diagnosis of infertility due to blocked Fallopian tubes
Journal of Practical Medicine 2005;515(7):65-68
Study on 215 cases of tubal-infertility that examined and diagnosed at 103 Hospital by hysterosalpingography (HSG) from 2000-2005, of that 90 cases by laparoscopy. The results showed that: the most common causes of tubal-infertility was artificial abortion (46.7%), pelvic inflammatory diseases (29.9%), intrauterine device (9.3%) and pelvic surgery (7.4%). The role of HSG and laparoscopy in the diagnosis of tubal-infertility was that: it is helpful in the investigation of the patency of Fallopian tubes, and also in the treatment of tubal occlusion with the rate of post-HSG pregnancy was 2.3%. Laparoscopy has many advantages in the diagnosis of infertility due to blocked Fallopian tubes, not only showing the accuracy in the investigation of the patency of Fallopian tubes, but also showing type of and degree of tubal damage.
