1.Surgical treatment of the acquired lagophthalmos
Journal of Medical Research 1999;9(1):19-21
Lagophthalmos is a common observed complication of some lesions in the upper eyelid. The technique "allongement of elevator muscle" performed in 12 patients with lagophthalmos. This is simple technique that allows a effective reconstruction of the retraction of the upper eyelid and seems particularly useful in context of medium retraction. Very satisfactory esthetic and functional results obtained in almost patients.

2.Evaluating efficiency of Berke's R.N method of resecting levator muscles in surgical treatment of congenital ptosis
Journal of Medical Research 2005;34(2):68-74
Our research has been done on 64 eyes from 62 patients whose elevator muscles had average and good function. The results are encourage: 64.58% of the eyes operated using Berke's method have results with average and good quality. The complication of amblyopia in ptosis has reduced meanwhile the patiens' postoperative vision has subtantially increased. Ptosis correcting surgery with resection of the elevator muscles using Berke's R.N. method has proved to be an efficient surgical procedure in treatment of congenital ptosis, we recommend that this procedure be further studied for better application.

3.Study on malposition of IOL treatment methods
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2004;297(4):28-31
30 patients with malposition of IOL were operated (30 eyes, 12 males, 18 females), in which 5 eyes with the IOL dropped in the vitreous cavity, 13 eyes with the decentration of IOL, 12 eyes with the IOL displaced into the pupil. Especially, 16 eyes with early severe malposition of IOL after operation 2 weeks. After operation, 29 eyes with the reposition of IOL were centrated. However, after 12 months 9 eyes with recurrent of malposition of IOL. Especially, 16 eyes were operated in early postoperation stage by I and III methods showed good results. These eyes with recurrent of malposition of IOL were operated in late postoperation stage

4.Remarks on the modified trabeculectomy of sclerotica
Journal of Practical Medicine 2003;450(4):24-26
30 eyes of 28 patients (18 female, 10 male, aged 45-75) of primary glaucoma (25 eyes with closed angle glaucoma and 5 eyes with opened angle glaucoma) at the National Institute of Ophtalmology were operated. No complications occurred. In postoperative period, there were 4 eyes with low interocular pressure and very shallow vestibule. In discharge, 46.6% eyes got a visual acuity of 4/10 to >6/10, and 13.3% <1/10, interocular pressure was regulated with X=18.20.8 mmHg. All operated eyes had scars. After 1 year, acuity visual had been re-examined on 28 eyes, no change of visual acuity, vision field and scars. Interoculary pressure was normal level of X=19.61.2 mmHg
