1.Discussion on relevant concepts of mechanism based medicine.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2013;33(2):274-275
Mechanism based medicine (MBM) is the new medical mode proposed by the author. Relevant concepts of MBM were described in this paper, such as essential mechanism, analysis of MBM, experiments of MBM,clinics of MBM, and diagram of MBM, thus helping readers to understand this new mode.

The clinical application of Chinese patent medicines has suffered sever problems and required guidelines for clinical practices. Currently, the expert consensus method is more suitable for formulating clinical practice guidelines of Chinese patent medicines than the evidence-based method. However, there remain problems in the application of the expert consensus method. This study proposed a derivative expert consensus method--a method for formulating clinical practice guidelines of common Chinese patent medicines based on clinical practices, and introduced the method in terms of research thought, methodology and implementation procedure.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(9):949-952
Evidence-based medicine (EBM) has been widely applied in clinical study of acupuncture and moxibustion, and the real-world study (RWS) has gradually become an important way of clinical research in the world in recent years. It is worthy of our in-depth study and discussion that how to evaluate the advantages and limitations of EBM and RWS as well as their reasonable application in clinical study of acupuncture and moxibustion. The characteristics and difference between RWS and EBM, and the situation of acupuncture clinical research methods are discussed in this paper. It is proposed that we should understand the advantages of RWS in acupuncture clinical research, fully realize the limitations of EBM and RWS, recognize the complexity and particularity of RWS, and apply EBM and RWS into acupuncture clinical research. Meanwhile acupuncture clinical manipulation standardization should be further promoted, which is benefit to develop clinical study, improve clinical efficacy and promote the popularization of acupuncture and moxibustion.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(12):1231-1234
Existing reporting guidelines for systematic reviews/Meta-analysis (SRs/MAs) cannot meet the requirements of clinical practice and scientific research, so based on evidence, methods and thoughts on establishing reporting guidelines for TCM-featured acupuncture systematic reviews/Meta-analysis were proposed. Through literature analysis, according to evidence-based principle, preliminary ideas on methodology of establishing reporting guidelines for TCM-featured acupuncture systematic reviews /Meta-analysis were proposed. With consensus as one main research method, it was proposed that in the consensus that was selected and established by experts, the pro- portion of Chinese scholars should be increased to fully declare the opinions of Chinese acupuncturists, and by verification of practice and application, the reporting guidelines for TCM-featured acupuncture systematic reviews/Meta-analysis can be finally made.

5.The composition of evidence body of traditional medicine and recommendations for its evidence grading.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2007;27(12):1061-1065
The concept of evidence in evidence based medicine (EBM) and the current main grading systems of evidence in the world were introduced systematically in this paper. And the methodological issues and challenges related to the efficacy evaluation of traditional medicine were analyzed. Targeting the characteristics and current status of clinical research in TCM, a proposal for evidence grading was suggested and recommended to provide the referential basis developing the clinical practical guidance of TCM.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(1):83-86
Randomized controlled trials (RCT) is the source of the raw data of evidence-based medicine. Blind method is adopted in most of the high-quality RCT. Sham acupuncture is the main form of blinded in acupuncture clinical trial. In order to improve the quality of acupuncture clinical trail, based on the necessity of sham acupuncture in clinical research, the current situation as well as the existing problems of sham acupuncture, suggestions were put forward from the aspects of new way and new designation method which can be adopted as reference, and factors which have to be considered during the process of implementing. Various subjective and objective factors involving in the process of trial should be considered, and used of the current international standards, try to be quantification, and carry out strict quality monitoring.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2019;44(12):2652-2656
The expert consensus on clinical practice of Chinese patent medicines shall be regarded as the same with clinical practice guidelines, which shall be concise, readable and applicable. Therefore,a formal expert consensus is unable to contain the whole compilation process and the content of its important process documents. It is necessary to write instructions for continuation, expansion and publicity. In 2018 Standardization Department of China Association of Chinese Medicine invited methodologists with the background of evidence-based medicine drafted a series of standards for expert consensus on clinical practice of Chinese patent medicines, including the guidance for compilation the instructions. It will be useful for readers of expert consensus to understand the work behind the compilation,so as to make the compilation process more transparent and standardized. We proposed nine requirements for compilation the instructions, namely content and requirements, work overview, main technical content, compilation process, process and basis for handling major disagreements, expert consensus implementation requirements and measure suggestions, other issues need to be explained, appendix and format for instructions.

In 2018,Standardization Department of China Association of Chinese Medicine invited methodologists with the background of evidence-based medicine to discuss and draft a series of standards for expert consensus on clinical practice of Chinese patent medicines. These standards have been made by reference to the published standards for developing expert consensus and clinical practice guidelines. These standards were made based on full consideration of the current evidence status and the history of clinical practice of Chinese patent medicines. These standards were composed of four parts, namely information summary items, normative general items, normative technical items and information supplementary items, including cover, content, preface, introduction, title, scope, basic Information of Chinese patent medicine, suggestions for clinical application, safety, conflict of interest, appendix, and references,so as to provides reference for improving the quality of expert consensus-based compilation and enhancing the applicability of expert consensus.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2008;22(16):764-768
OBJECTIVE:
The aim of the study is to explore the establishment of paired-standardized patients (PSPs), which can cover the deficiency of standardized patients.
METHOD:
The outpatients and standardized patients consist of PSPs. The standard case of PSPs is established by the combination of PSPs and the laboratory and imaging information of the true patients. Then we apply the PBL model and PSPs to the clinic teaching in otorhinolaryngology.
RESULT:
The study of the ten standard cases of PSPs, which we have established, has enhanced the confidence and interest of medical students in clinical practice.
CONCLUSION
PSPs can cover the deficiency of standardized patients, which includes lacking of change and lively. At the other hand, PSPs can practice the medical students' clinical skills and the way of evidence-based medicine and can stimulate them to form the good habit of self-regulated learning.
