1.Diagnostic Pediatric Colonoscopy for Lymphoid Hyperplasia of Terminal Ileum.
Korean Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy 1985;5(1):37-40
Lymphoid hyperplasia of the intestinal tract is a non-specific reactive change. Most of these inatances, it is associated with a benign clinical course and requires no treatment. In my 14 casea anaiysis of colonoscopic obaervation, sex distribution was 9 males and 5 females. Most frequent age of incidence was 7 cases at the age of 8 to 14. Barium Eaema acurracy for the detection of lymphoid hyplasia was 57%. The colonoscopic findinge of lymphoid hyperplasia showed mucosal hyperemia, dome shaped, like a worm appearance of nodular lymphoid hypertrophy and segmental or focal aggregation of lymphoid nodules. I perfarmed only biopsy with hot biopsy foreeps and confirmed lymphoid hyperplasia, histologically. Occasionally treatment was nat necessary, but sometimes surgery may be required in the case of severe cornplications, intussusception, bleeding and obstruction.

3.Endoscopic Diagnosis of Colonic Tuberculosis.
Korean Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy 1984;4(1):35-39
Tuberculosia of the colon, beeause of its vague manifestations, continue to be a diagnostic chalenge. Numerous retrospective series even in this country have appeared describing the diffieulty with this diagnosis is made. Most often, patients have undergone Barium Enema studies for non-specfic abdominal pain and have been found constricting leeions or ulcerations which cluld not be further defined without surgical confirmation. I deseribe here in 21 eases of coionic tubereulosis or suspieious colonic tuberculosis by Barium Enema studies I performed colonascopic diagnosis. Clinical analysis of the 21 caees were made and presented the importanee of the calonoscopic diagnosis and its biopsy for the increase of the detection rate for colonic tuberculosis without surgery.

4.Pediatric Colonoscopy.
Korean Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy 1984;4(1):28-34
Diagnostic and therapeutic exploration with flexible colonofiberscope has heen developed since last 15 years. During that time some endoscopist has been developing pediatric colonoseopy aind getting good results with the advent of new pediatric colonoscope, PCF, aince 1981. I experienced 25 cases of pediatric colonoscopy at the department of surgery of the Ewha Womane University Hospital during last 10 montha(1984 1-1984 10). Clinical analysis of 25 cases of pediatric colonoscopy were made and with my experienee and review of literatures, technical succees and failure rate, time needed for peciatric colonoscopy and comparison of Colonoscopy and barium enema were presented.

10.Stercoraceous Ulcer of the Cecum: A case report.
Korean Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy 1983;3(1):108-113
Stercoraceous ulcerations of the colon are produced by hard fecaloma that collect in the coton. Bleeding and more seriously perforation are complications of these ulcerations. These are generally thought to be rare, but this may reflect the difficulty of establishing the diagnosis, both before and during operation. This disease is relatively neglected as well. This is reflected by the small number of case reported in the literature. Authors report a case of stercoraceous ulcer of cecum which confirmed under the colonofiberscopy and managed in the Department of General Surgery, College of Medicine, Ewha Womans University,
