1.Study the model of daytime consulting department and in-patient bed
Journal of Practical Medicine 1998;344(1):24-29
Aims: Evaluating more fully the forms of daytime consulting department and give some recommends to improve this model. Settings: 6 hospitals at central, provincial and district level. Method: Prospective description and assessment. Subjects: Hospital and department leaders and patients. Results: Daytime treatment department should be expanded and strengthen base on close relationship with in-patient departments, patient selection to reduce the patient load at in-patient department and apply to every level and professional departments. For daytime in-patient bed: in-patient departments should be arranged into special area with simple and flexible organization and management. It should require minimal material facilities and budget and appropriate to patients who live near from the hospital, reduce the nighttime in-patient load and apply to every level and speciality

Journal of Korean Society of Medical Informatics 2000;6(3):65-71
A computerized hospital equipment utilization review system has been developed and implemented in a tertiary care utilization hospital in order to provide real-time equipment utilization with income information to be used in budgeting and strategic planning. Among various hospital fixed and clinical equipment, 283 (purchase price over US$15,000 per unit) were selected initially for utilization review. The application was written in Power Builder which was then loaded on Pentium client or on-line service. The data base management and statistical transactions were done by Oracle v 7.3.4 on NUMA Q2000 server. The utilization and associated income information of operating tables and other clinical equipment were automatically collected from physician order information in the hospital information system. Those information on other equipment which (lid not have direct utility information linked to physician order entry in the hospital information system were manually entered by users .Various utilization reports can be generated by users through computer menus; reports include name of equipment, using department, purchase price and year, frequency of use for inpatients and outpatients separately, income generated by such usage, and etc. The out put can also be generated by department, by instrument. by any interval as selected. The automated hospital equipment utilization review system has been developed and used since March, 2000 and is proven to he an essential tool for the hospital budget planners and managers. The outcome has been increasingly satisfactory.

3.Liquidation of the hospital bursar according to the health service cost - A potential risk
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2001;(10):5-8
The Vietnam Health Insurance was deploying the pilot method of liquidation and separating the hospital bursar for patients with the health insurance from the regulation of partial liquidation of hospital bursar, i.e from the liquidation according to the health service cost. It means that there must be the adjustment and correction of the regulations of government about the partial collection of the hospital bursar and liquidation mechanism of the health insurance budget

With the continuous improvement of the difficulty of surgery, we need to investigate and analyze the current situation, to understand the structure and related attributes of medical consumables. Rely on the information construction of medical consumables; Improve the supervision method and further improve the refined management effect; Establish multi-modal procurement management; Improve management methods; Maximize the benefits of transformation structure and study the trace management of medical consumables in the key areas of the hospital's full life process at the same time. Provide data decision-making services for hospitals through the early warning management of medical consumables based on clinical quality management, and use tools such as HB-HTA to further construct a reasonable evaluation system for medical consumables.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2010;34(2):117-122
With the rapid development of the computer technology and the constant updating of the radiotherapy equipment, a huge improvement has been manifested by the new generation of the Gamma Knife radiotherapy system. Not only its functions are being improved, but also the treatment indications are expanding. These advances have been widely recognized by the clinical medical experts, breaking off the forbbiden zone of surgical operations, saving a lot of tumor patients with both malignant and benign lesions, who are not suitable for surgical operations due to local anatomical limitations. However, there are still a lot of clinicians being not clear about the funcitons and generations of Gamma Knife radiotherapy system. Moreover, variant guidances by different manufacturerers have given rise to confusions, especially on the equipment purchasing. Therefore, in this report we summarize the features of Gamma radiotherapy systems produced by different manufacturers in recent years, to supply reference data for the organization and expert buyers.

10.Medical Equipment Maintenance Methods.
Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2015;39(5):383-387
Due to the high technology and the complexity of medical equipment, as well as to the safety and effectiveness, it determines the high requirements of the medical equipment maintenance work. This paper introduces some basic methods of medical instrument maintenance, including fault tree analysis, node method and exclusive method which are the three important methods in the medical equipment maintenance, through using these three methods for the instruments that have circuit drawings, hardware breakdown maintenance can be done easily. And this paper introduces the processing methods of some special fault conditions, in order to reduce little detours in meeting the same problems. Learning is very important for stuff just engaged in this area.
