2.Looking at acupuncture from the point of view of bioelectricity
Journal Reasearch of Vietnam Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;15():37-40
Acupuncture, which is a preventive and treating method without drugs of traditional medicine, has had a long-standing history. Classical acupuncture is still the main, irreplaceable treatment method (electricity acupuncture in nature is classical acupuncture which is added by electricity into acupunctured spots). When giving the needle in patients, they will react against and have pain feeling, level of pain depends on different areas of the body, whenever receptors in skin and muscle will identify and make nervous pulses that will go to central nervous system through nerves. The second electric potential appears when acupuncturing needle into the body, that is injury electric potential. The third electric potential appears when the acupuncture needle is made of metal

3.The effect of Neiguan (PC6) electro-acupuncture (EA) on some blood parameters
Journal of Medical Research 2002;18(2):38-45
30 healthy male students from 19-24 years of age were selected randomly for studying some blood parameters under the effect of Neiguan EA: before, after 30 minutes and after 8 continuous EAs. 16 out of these subjects also received EA at points other than PC6. The blood parameters, including RBC, HBG, MCV, MCH, MCHC, reticulocytes, WBC, PLT, NEUT/L, LYMPH/L, MXD/L, RDW-SD, PDW, MPV, P-LCR were measured by automated Hematology analyzer K-4500 (made in Japan). Is was found that RBC, HBG, reticulocytes and hematocrit level increased remarkably after eight EAs (p<0.001 and p<0.05, respectively). The number of PLT decreased significantly 30 minutes after PC6 EA, in comparison with baseline (p<0.05). These changes were not observed after EA at points other than PC6

4.Study effect of hegu electroacupuncture on some circulation parameters
Journal of Medical Research 2002;18(2):19-24
40 health male students from 19-26 of age were studied on the change of ciriculation parameters between before and after the exact Hegu electroacupuncture outside the Hegu. The investigated parameters included systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and heart rate, ECG (electrocardiogram). The results are following: + After the Hegu electroacupuncture one and eight times, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and heart rate reduced rather markly (P< 0.01), QT and PT interval are longer (P<0.01). + There were no differences of the others (the time and amplitudes of P wave, PR interval, QRS complex, T wave) between before and after the Hegu electroacupuncture on and eight times (p<0.05).

5.The effect of Hegu electroacupuncture on electroencephalogram (ECG)
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1999;232(1):5-10
40 healthy male students from 19-26 years of age were studied on the changes of ECG before and after the exact Hegu electroacupuncture once and 8 times. 20 among 40 these students were done electroacupuncture outside the Hegu. The investigated parameters included: frequency, amplitude, rate of alpha, beta, theta-delta waves in the occipital and temporal regions. The results are following: + After the Hegu electroacupuncture once and 8 times, amplitude and rate of alpha waves increased remarkably in the occipital and temporal regions. After the Hegu electroacupuncture 8 times, amplitude of beta and thetadenta waves reduced in the occipital region. + After the Hegu electroacupuncture once and 8 times, rates of beta and theta-delta waves reduced significationtly in the occipital and temporal regions.

6.Research on the effect of electro boa acupuncture and electro acupuncture to rehabilitate motor function for hemiplegic patient caused by cerebral infarction
Journal of Medical Research 2005;39(6):51-55
Electro boa acupuncture (EBA) and electro acupuncture (EA) to rehabilitate the motor function for hemiplegic patients caused by cerebral infarction. Objective: (1) Describe the clinical characteristic of hemiplegic patients caused by cerebral infarction. (2) Evaluate the rehabilitation of motor function in Hemiplegic patients acording to clinical characteristics. Method: 100 hemiplegic patients was selected accidentaly. 50 hemiplegic patients caused by cerebral infarction was applied EBA , and 50 hemiplegic patients was applied EA. The result of treatment was compared after 30 days Resuls: Majority of patien was over 60 years old. In EBA group very good result (recovery) was 30%, good effect 56%; in EA group very good result (recovery) was 18%, good effect 58%. According to Orgogozo and Barthel scale, after treatment, group of patients with EBA, the indexes are all higher than group with EA. Conclusion: EBA to rehabilitate the motor function for hemiplegic patients caused by cerebral infarction has better results than EA.

7.Effect of Neiguan (PC6) electro acupuncture (EA) on pain threshold and Hoffmann reflex in normal subjects
Journal of Medical Research 2005;34(2):20-27
Experiments were undertaken on normal subjects at the age of 19-44 years. Pain threshold were measured by Analgesymeter (Made in Ugobasile-Italy) in 60 subjects before and after 30 minutes of PC6 EA. Amplitude and latency of Hoffman wave of 30 males was investigated before and after 30 minutes of PC6 EA. EA parameters were set in 2Hz, 4-5 volts. The following results were shown: (1) PC6 EA could elevate pain threshold in most subjects (p< 0.01); After acupuncture, pain threshold is more increase in women comparing to men (p<0.05). Electric acupunture at Neiguan inhibit H reflex by reduce its amplitude and last the latency of this wave (p<0.05). thse results suggested that pain reduce mechanism of electric accupunture could ralate to the role of nervous system.

8.The effects of electro acupuncture in treating drug addicts
Journal of Practical Medicine 2004;483(7):6-9
Study on 216 patients of drug addicts were treated by electro accupuncture shown that: the majority of drug addicts were 21 to 40 years old. It was rare for man become addicts at the age of under 20 and over 40. Incidence of addicts in cities was higher than those in countries side. Jobless person was easy to become drug addicts. Heavy addicts and moderate one were taking drug with sniffing and injection. The drug addicts were treated by electro acupuncture, and results as follow: A level (very good) taken up 92.6%, B level (good) taken up 7.4%. Symptoms of withdrawal syndrom after 4 days and 8 days in duration of treatment remarkably reduced (p<0.01). After treatment, content of beta - endorphinemia statistically increased (p<0.01) in compare with before treatment.

9.Study on the change of electroencephalogram under electro acupuncture GB 20
Journal of Practical Medicine 2004;484(8):37-39
Electro acupuncture one time and eight times in and out of GB 20 on 55 healthy persons with ages from 20 to 27 showed that: There is no changing of frequency, amplitude and wave of EEG index when electro acupuncture out of GB 20. Electro acupuncture GB 20 make changing of frequency, amplitude and wave of EEG index. After electro acupuncture, Alpha wave index average increased 14%, amplitude increased 4μV. Beta wave index decreased 2%, amplitude decreased 3μV. Theta and delta wave index decreased 4% amplitude decreased 3μV.

10.Effects of phong tri point electro - acupuncture in electroencephalogram
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2004;301(8):21-25
By1 time and 8 times , electroacupuncture (EA) was performed in and out of Phongtri site (GB20) of 55 healthy persons aged 20-27 years. Out of GB20, EA did not make frequency, amplitude and EEG indices changed in comparing with those before acupuncture, while in GB20 site, EA created the changes in frequency, amplitude and EEG indices in occipital and temporal areas. Upon EA , alpha wave index increased in average 14%, amplitude increased by 4 microV; beta wave index reduced by 2% in average, amplitude reduced by 3 microV. After electro- acupuncture theta and delta waves reduced 4% in average and amplitude reduced 3 microV in average
