1.The real situation of health of civil servants in Vietnamese electricity, 2004
Journal of Practical Medicine 2005;515(7):55-57
Study on 1600 servants of 26 various companies, production units belongs to General Corporation Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) during 4 weeks, in 2004. The most common diseases included acute diseases (hay fever 16.6%), otorhinolaryngologic diseases (25.5%), and dental diseases (15.7%), especially the rates of accidents, trauma increase twofold compared to the rates of whole country (2.6% vs. 1.2%). The number of ill stages was 1.76/person/year and the rate of sick servants who workless was 3.62%, higher than rate of whole country and other industries. The percentage of civil servants having 1 and 2 types of health was 77.4%, bad health of 4 and 5 types was 4.4%.

Nanogenerator (triboelectric nanogenerator and piezoelectric nanogenerator) has experienced a rapid development since it was proposed. This technique can covert various mechanical energies into electric energy, including human motion energy, wind energy, acoustic energy and ocean energy. The converted electricity can be used for health monitoring and physiological function regulation, such as pulse detection, bioelectrical stimulation and cardiac pacing. This review summarizes the structure, working mechanism, output performance of nanogenerator and its latest progress in circulatory system, nervous system, biological tissue, sleep and rescue system. Additionally, a further analysis was also made on the application challenge of nanogenerator in clinical treatment. In the future, nanogenerator is expected to be an auxiliary power source, or even to replace battery to power medical electronic device and realize the self-powered health monitoring and physiological function regulation of human body.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2023;40(4):718-724
Magneto-acoustic-electric tomography (MAET) boasts high resolution in ultrasound imaging and high contrast in electrical impedance imaging, making it of significant research value in the fields of early tumor diagnosis and bioelectrical monitoring. In this study, a method was proposed that combined high conductivity liquid metal and maximum length sequence (M sequence) coded excitation to improve the signal-to-noise ratio. It was shown that, under rotational scanning, the liquid metal significantly improved the signal-to-noise ratio of the inter-tissue magneto-acoustic-electric signal and enhanced the quality of the reconstructed image. The signal-to-noise ratio of the signal was increased by 5.6, 11.1, 21.7, and 45.7 times under the excitation of 7-, 15-, 31-, and 63-bit M sequence code, respectively. The total usage time of 31-bit M sequence coded excitation imaging was shortened by 75.6% compared with single-pulse excitation when the same signal-to-noise ratio was improved. In conclusion, the imaging method combining liquid metal and M-sequence coding excitation has positive significance for improving MAET image quality.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2021;45(6):684-688
Aiming at the ECG performance indicators in the YY 0885-2013 "Medical electrical equipment Part 2: Particular requirements for the safety including essential performance of ambulatory electrocardiographic systems", the traditional detection methods are time-consuming and the test results are greatly affected by human factors. In this paper, an automated detection method is proposed. A set of automatic detection software for ECG performance is designed and developed based on a single-channel ECG recorder, and an automated detection system is set up in combination with standard testing equipment. And then, the MSA tool is used to analyze the repeatability and stability of the detection system, and the results show that the detection system is acceptable, and it can improve detection efficiency.

10.Progress in nanomaterials modified anodes of microbial fuel cell.
Chinese Journal of Biotechnology 2016;32(3):271-283
Anode is an important part of microbial fuel cell, its performance significantly affects the electricity generation of microbial fuel cells (MFCs). Nanomaterials have excellent properties, such as good conductivity and large surface area. Therefore, nanomaterials modified anode can effectively reduce the electrode resistance, increase the amount of microbial adhesion and improve the electricity generation of MFCs. In this paper, we introduced various nanomaterials modified anodes and summarized their effects on the output performance of MFCs. Finally, the prospect of modifying nanomaterials and technologies were discussed.
