A study on 91 patients with hepatic tumors by ultrasound and operation has shown that the ultrasound was a method that can be widely used in the diagnosis of hepatic tumor, generally, and primary malignant hepatic tumor. The sound increase or equal as well as the sound homogenous or inhomogeneous were not a specificity of diagnosis of disease. The study concluded that the ultrasound had a high value in the determined diagnosis of the primary malignant hepatic tumor as well as evaluation of lesion of cirrhosis that usually accompanying with the primary malignant hepatic tumor.
