1.Treatment of Acupuncture Syncope and the Understanding of Its Therapeutic Effect

Some new viewpoints are put forward by comparing the treatment of acupuncture syncope and the statement of its therapeutic effect in ancient and modern literature and in current textbooks and combining the authors’ understanding in clinical practice. Acupuncture syncope is not an acupuncture contraindication. If the body position is notaffected, the needles may not be withdrawn to avoid the consumption of qi. Clinical doctors should, on the one hand, pay attention to the therapeutic effect of acupuncture syncope in clinical practice and, on the other hand, not perform manipulations withstrong stimulation to blindly seek the therapeutic effect because acupuncture syncope has a more marked psychological effect on acupunctured persons.
2.Progress of SOX4 in leukemia

Leukemia is a polygenic malignant proliferative disease in the hematopoietic system.Its possible causative genes and gene therapy are one hotspot of the current researches.Sex-determining region Y-related high-mobility-group box transcription factor 4(SOX4) is a member of the group C subfamily of the SOX transcription factors,playing a critical role in the occurrence and development of many tumors such as lung cancer,breast cancer,hepatic carcinoma,gastric cancer and medulloblastoma.Recently,researches have found that SOX4 is significant in the occurrence,treatment and prognosis evaluation of leukemia.This paper reviews the structure and functions of SOX4,its expression and mechanism in leukemia,and its influence on leukemia treatment and prognosis.
3.The significance of serum homocysteine and neutrophil gelatinase associated lipocalin detection in patients with hypertensive nephropathy

Objective To analyse the clinical significance of serum homocysteine(Hcy) and neutrophil gelatinase‐associated li‐pocalin(NGAL) in patients with hypertensive nephropathy ,and explore the relationship between serum homocysteine ,NGAL con‐centration and Urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER) .Methods 103 patients with hypertension treated in renal and cardiovascular department of Huangshi Central Hospital from January 2012 to June 2014 were enrolled in the study and were divided into 3 groups :macroalbuminuria group (36 cases) ,microalbuminuria group (35 cases) and negative albuminuria group (32 cases) .In addi‐tion to that ,33 healthy people were recruited as control group .Serum homocysteine ,NGAL concentration and UAER were meas‐ured for the peple enrolled in the study .Results Serum homocysteine and NGAL concentration of macroalbuminuria group and mi‐croalbuminuria group were much higher than negative albuminuria group and control group(P<0 .05) .Serum homocysteine and NGAL concentrations compared between macroalbuminuria group and microalbuminuria group were significantly different (P<0 .05) .Serum homocysteine and NGAL concentrations of negative albuminuria group and control group were not significantly dif‐ferent(P>0 .05) .UAER was positively correlated with serum homocysteine and NGAL concentration(r=0 .792 ,0 .658 ,P<0 .05) . Conclusion The detection of serum homocysteine and NGAL are helpful in understanding the changes of disease in patients with hypertensive nephropathy .
4.Clinical significance of combined detection of serum pre-S1,pre-S2 antigen and HBeAg for diagnosis of HBV infection

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of combned detection of serum pre-S1 ,pre-S2 antigen and hepatitis B virus(HBV) e antigen(HBeAg) for diagnosis of HBV infection .Methods Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was employed to detect the serum pre-S1 ,pre-S2 antigen and HBeAg of 450 patients with chronic hepatitis B and real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (FQ-PCR) was used to detect their HBV DNA .Results In patients with different HBV DNA levels ,serum pre-S1 ,pre-S2 antigen and HBeAg showed different expression ,the higher the load ,the higher the expression (P<0 .05) .Pre-S1 ,pre-S2 antigen and HBeAg were all correlated with HBV DNA (P<0 .05) and the descending order of rele-vance were HBeAg ,pre-S1 and pre-S2 antigen .Combied detection of the three indicators showed the highest correlation with HBV DNA .The positive proportion of HBV DNA of patients with the three indicators positive was markedly higher than those in pa-tients with single or two indicators positive (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Combind detection of serum pre-S1 ,pre-S2 antigen and HBeAg may reflect well on HBV replication .
5.Comparison of the clinical efficacy and patients compliance of two kinds of insulin therapy for gestational dia-betes mellitus

Objective To compare the efficacy of isophane protamine biosynthetic human insulin premixed 30R( Novolin 30R) and biosynthetic human insulin ( Novolin R) combined with protamine biosynthetic human insulin (Novolin N) in the treatment of gestational diabetes mellitus and the patients compliance .Methods According to the digital table ,40 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus were randomly divided into A group ( 20 cases ) and B group(20 cases).A group was treated with Novolin 30R,while B group was given Novolin R combined with Novolin N.The blood glucose levels,the incidence of hypoglycemia during hospitalization ,clinical efficacy,security,conven-ience of insulin injection and compliance were compared and evaluated in the two groups .Results In A group after treatment,the compliance rate was 70.00%(14/20),that in B group was 75.00%(15/20),there was no significant difference(χ2 =0.125,P>0.05).In A group,the incidence rate of hypoglycemia was 10.00%(2/20),that in B group was 5.00%(1/20),there was no significant difference (χ2 =0.360,P>0.05).After treatment,the fasting blood glucose,postprandial 2 hours blood glucose levels in the two group were decreased significantly ( t =5.883, 5.248,6.856,7.549,all P<0.05),but the differences were not statistically significant between the two groups after treatment [(4.9 ±1.0)mmol/L vs.(4.8 ±1.2)mmol/L,(6.6 ±1.6)mmol/L vs.(6.3 ±1.8)mmol/L,t=0.085, 0.553,all P>0.05].In A group,the incidence rate of irregularly injected insulin was 1.23%(4/324),which was significantly lower than 3.58%(23/642) in B group(χ2 =4.37,P<0.05).Conclusion Novolin 30R program and Novolin R combined with Novolin N program can effectively control the glucose of gestational diabetes ,the clinical re-sults are satisfactory and relatively safe ,but the former is more acceptive by the patients .
6.Effect of periodontal initial therapy on the serum level of lipid in the patients with both periodontitis and hyperlipidemia

Objective:To observe the effect of periodontal initial therapy on the serum level of lipid in the patients with both periodontitis and hyperlipidemia.Methods:Twenty patients with both hyperlipidemia and moderate to severe chronic periodontitis were enrolled in this study.Periodontal parameters [plaque index(PLI),bleeding on probing(BOP),bleeding index(BI),probing depth(PD) and attachment level(AL)] were evaluated prior to and 3 months after periodontal initial therapy.Simultaneously,the patients' serum levels of total cholesterol,triglyceride,high-lipoprotein cholesterol,low-lipoprotein cholesterol were also measured.Results:(1) Three months after periodontal therapy,the periodontal infection and inflammation in patients reduced comparing with baseline.The PD,PLI,BI,and BOP decreased significantly(the PD,PLI,BI,and BOP reduced from 3.98?0.12 to 2.39?0.13,1.23?0.10 to 0.84?0.08,2.63?0.14 to 1.48?0.08 and 94.26?1.84 to 33.57?2.06,respectively;P

Objective In order to investigate the ability of flow cytometer (FCM) to diagnose malignant tumor and evaluate prognosis of tumors in salivary glands, the DNA ploidy and cell cycle had been analysed and the association of these parameters with histologic grades, lymph node metastasis were studied.
