Based on the translational research measurement and backtracking model put forward in this paper,it takes the new drug approved to enter into the market by American FDA from 2006-2015 as the fundamental data to measure the knowledge relations among new drug products-core patent-scientific paper-fund assistance,and puts forward the policies and suggestions for promoting innovation of pharmaceutical products in China.

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of neo-adjuvant chemotherapy in the treatment of cervical cancer. Methods A total of 32 patients,of which 12 cases of Ⅰ b2,8 cases of Ⅱ a,5 case of Ⅱ b and 7 cases of Ⅲ, were all treated with 2 - 3 cycles of PF chemotherapy before treatment with cisplatin 100 mg/m2, d 1;5-fluorouracil 1000 mg/m2 ,d1-5. The chemotherapy was performed for 3 weeks followed by three weeks rest as one cycle. Results Short-term effect was 81.3% (26/32), with 3 cases of Ⅰ b2 and 1 cases of Ⅱ a had been completely relieved after 2 - 3 cycles of chemotherapies. Simultaneously, chemotherapy improved the removal rate of surgery. Among these 32 patients, there were 4 cases achieved complete response (CR) ,22 cases achieved partial response (PR) ,5 case of stable disease ( SD), 1 cases of progressive disease(PD). The overall response rate( CR +PR) was 81.3% (26/32) ,and the control rate ( CR + PR + SD) was 96. 9% (31/32). The main adverse events included myelosuppression and gastrointestinal response, which were all tolerable. Conclusions The neo-adjuvant chemotherapy reduced the size of cancer,which can improve removal rate of surgery and the quality of life.

Sulfur dioxide (SO_2) is an ordinary air pollutant globally and harm to human health. L-cysteine is the major sulfur-containing amino acid and its normal metabolism can produce hydrogen sulfur (H_2S) and SO_2. It is realized that H_2S has various bioactivities and is the third gasotransmitter after nitric oxide (NO) and carbon monoxide (CO). Recently, attention has been paid to the physiologic effects of endogenous SO_2 and its derivatives (bisulfite and sulfite) in vivo, and recognized that SO_2 and its derivatives can lower blood pressure, change heart rates, participate in inflammatory reactions, and so on, suggesting that endogenous SO_2 may modulate the physiologic functions in vivo as a bioactive molecule.

Aim To investigate the effect of sulfur dioxide (SO2) on blood pressure and aortic structure of the spontaneous hypertensive rat(SHR).Methods Sixteen male SHRs at the age of 4 weeks were randomly divided into SHR control group and SHR+Na2SO3/NaHSO3 group,respectively.Another eight male WKY rats served as WKY control group.Five weeks later, the blood pressure was determined.The rat aortas were dyed with Hart's Method. The morphometric parameters including outer radius, lumen radius and the wall thickness were calculated by Leica workstation. Objective To compare the efficacies of laparoscopic colorectal resection and conventional open surgery by collecting and investigating related studies with Meta-analysis.Methods Randomized controlled trials(RCT) on the outcomes of laparoscopic colorectal resection and conventional open surgery that published between January 1989 and March 2008 in English were collected and analyzed.The quality of the original investigations was evaluated,and the low-level reports were excluded.Then the odds ratio(OR) for the incidence of early postoperative small bowel obstruction between the two methods were calculated.ResultsTotally 12 studies including 3032 cases were analyzed.Among which,1522 patients received laparoscopy,33 of them developed early postoperative small bowel obstruction.1510 cases underwent open surgery,and 71 of these patients showed small bower obstruction before being discharged form hospital.The pooled OR was 0.46 with a 95% confidence interval of(0.30-0.69).Conclusion Compared with open surgery,laparoscopic colorectal resection is superior in the incidence of early postoperative small bowel obstruction.

Objective To promote the development of precision medicine and gene sequencing technologies in China by analyzing the innovation situation in gene sequencing technologies.Methods An innovation situation research analysis frame was established with scientific literature and patent information as its basic data.The innovation situation in gene sequencing technologies was analyzed in aspects of scientific research and technical R & D.Results The research on gene sequencing technologies and technical R & D were focused on tumor diagnosis and treatment,plant gene sequencing,identification of HIV and gastrointestinal flora.Single cell genome amplification technology has greatly promoted the development of gene sequencing technologies.Conclusion The level of gene sequencing technologies and technical R & D in China is approaching to that in the world.

BACKGROUND: If it is feasible to realize the controllable urination by establishing artificial abdomen-bladder reflex arc basing on remained somatic-reflection below the paralyzed level.OBJECTIVE:To establish an artificial abdomen-bladder reflex arc in canines abdomen to resume the bladder dysfunction due to spinal cord injury.DESIGN:Bilateral comparative observing study with experimental animal as subjects.SETTING:At the Research Institute of Surgery,Third Military Medical University of Chinese PLA.MATERIALS:This study was carried out at the Research Institute of Surgery of Daping Hospital,Third Military Medical University of Chinese PLA from April 2002 to December 2004.Six adult male canines were adopted with body mass of 10-12 Kg.INTERVENTIONS:This is achieved by intradural microanastomosis of the proximal end of right T12 ventral root and the distal end of right S2 ventral root,as well as the distal end of right S2 dorsal root and Ti2 dosal root by end-to-side microanastomosis. After axonal regeneration,the abdomenspinal cord center-bladder new artificial bladder reflex pathway was established,hereby inducing urinating by right abdominal stimulation. The bladder func-tion was assessed with electrophysiological examination and detrusor elec-tromyograms at postoperative 9 months,which was compared with the left controls.MIAN OUTCOME MEASURES: l①Electrophysiological examination.②Bladder contracting function.RESULTS:Data from six canines were analyzed statistically without loss.①Evoked potentials from the anastomosized distal site could be detected by the stimulation (115 mV,1.0 ms)at the right T12 dorsal root in all six canines before and after the spinal cord transaction at the T12 segment level,which was similar to the left side in shape and amplitude.② After paraplegia for 48 hours ,bladder contraction was very quickly initiated by a series of stimuli(1 000 mV, 10 Hz, 2 s) at the right T12 dorsal root with the new reflex arc and the evoked bladder pressure increased to 61% of control side,and to 51% of control side by stimulation at the right abdomen.CONCLUSION:The new bladder artificial autonomic reflex arc is established basing on the somatic reflex at the level higher than the injured con-secutive spinal cord and provides afferent passages for the transduction of bladder sensory,showing satisfactory function of conducting motor excitation. Reconstruction of the bladder autonomic reflex arc by intradural microanastomosis results in bladder contraction,and contributes to controllable urination of canines.
