Korean Journal of Dermatology 1985;23(3):396-398
A 25-year-old female was seen because of rnultiple, asymptornatic papular eruptions on the vulvar area since 1 year ago. She had been suffered from palmar hyperhidrosis for 3 years. A skin biopsy specimen from the vulval lesion revealed characteristic findings of syringoma.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1985;23(3):392-395
A 72 years old man had an 1 x 1cm sized, solitary glomus tumor on the right knee joint and had suffered from sharp, episodic pain and tenderness, radiating to the right thigh and the buttock for about 20 years. Simple surgical excision was performed for removal of the tumor mass and the subjective symtoms. There is no recurrence until now.

4.Robot-assisted surgery in urology
Journal of the Korean Medical Association 2024;67(3):204-210
In the field of urological surgery, robotic surgery continues to develop and increase. This paper is an overview of the present and future of robotic urological surgery.Current Concepts: Robot-assisted surgery has revolutionized minimally invasive surgery and advanced the technical limitations of laparoscopy. Urologists have always been eager to adopt new technological advances to benefit their patients, and they have also been pioneers in the field of robotic surgery.Discussion and Conclusion: Following the first approval by the Food and Drug Administration in 2000, the da Vinci System (Intuitive Surgical, USA) remained the leading robotic surgical system for over 20 years. In 2000, the first robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy was performed in urology. Subsequently, applications of the da Vinci System in urology have grown exponentially, including the kidney, urinary bladder, and reconstructive and functional urological surgeries. To date, urology is driving robotic innovation. The first specialist-engineered system for single-site surgery, the da Vinci SP, was initially approved for use in urological surgery. Due to the advantages of robotic surgery, such as excellent visibility and operability, the demand for robotic surgery in the urology department is continuously increasing. Recently, in addition to the da Vinci System, other robot platforms are being developed and commercialized in many countries. In South Korea, robots such as Revo-I (Meere Company Inc., Korea) and Zamenix (Roen Surgical, Korea) are being released and commercialized. Urologists continue to lead the development of domestic robots and robotic surgery.

Korean Circulation Journal 1991;21(3):606-613
A case of unilateral pulmonary vein atresia with absent right superior vena cava in 9 years-old boy is described with a discussion. Clinical findings were similar to other reports and consisted of hemoptysis, dyspnea and anemia. A chest X-rary revealed irregular vascular marking on left lung fiedld and increased interstitial marking on right upper lung field. The diagnosis could be confirmed with radionuclide perfusion study, MRI scan of heart and great vessels and angiography which demonstrated a small right pulmonary artery, pruned its peipheral branches, stasis of contrast material and nonvisualization of draining righ pulmonary veins. Pneumonectomy, patch angioplasty of diaphargm excision will be necessary.

The Journal of the Korean Orthopaedic Association 1987;22(6):1277-1280
Sleeve type fracture of the patella in children is an extremely rare injury. Its avulsed fragment is so small that the diagnosis may be missed by radiogram and patella slta is complicated. A 14 year-old boy having the sleeve type fracture of the patella with patella alta was treated by open reduction with s screw fixation at St. Vincent Hospital in December 1985 and was followed up over two years. The final clinical result was good.

Yong Hee KIM ; Jae Kwang LEE ; Doo Byung PARK
Journal of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association 1997;36(3):457-465
The authors compared 30 depressive patients with 32 normal controls to see the change of immunity in major depressive disorder and study the relationship between altered immunity and variables such as sex, age, and symptom severity. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Percent of suppressor T cell in depressive patients was significantly lower than that of normal controls and IgA concentration of depressive patients was significantly higher than that of normal controls. 2) In the depressive patient poop, male patients showed significantly lower number in total lymphocyte, number and percentage of B cell, and IgA concentration than in the female patients. 3) In depressive patient group, a positive correlation was found between percentage in lymphocyte and age and in control group, positive correlations were found among percent of T lymphocyte, number and percentage of helper T cell and age. Negative correlation between IgM and the symptom severity assessed by HDRS was observed in depressive patient group.
