The mutual influence of lead and cadmium ions on “in-situ” bismuth film coated glassy carbon electrode was demonstrated using different concentration target ions by changing ratio between Pb2+ and Cd2+. It is found that the presence of coexisting ions can have an influence on the detection of target ions. Especially for the detection of Cd2+, the existence of Pb2+ can be beneficial for the deposition of Cd due to the more positive deposition potentials. And the analytical performances of Cd2+and Pb2+ were obtained. The detection limit is 0. 5 μg/L towards Pb2+ with a linear range from 1-80 μg/L using 60 s deposition time. The resulting calibration plots of Cd2+ are linear over the range from 1-25 and 30-200 μg/L with the detection limit of 1 μg/L using 120 s deposition time. The bismuth film was finally employed to determine the Pb2+and Cd2+in real sample with good satisfied results.

Early-onset facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy is a rare clinical syndrome characterized by severe muscle weakness started in early childhood,with extramuscular manifestations such as retinal vascular tortuosity,sensorineural hearing loss and epilepsy.Herein we report a case with early-onset facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy and Coats syndrome.Early diagnosis of Coats syndrome is critical for the prognosis.

As the diversity center of Epimedium, China possesses about 50 species. Epimedium plants have been used as herb-medicine for more than 2000 years in China. In recent years, the price of herba epimedii has kept high with the increase in the kinds and quantity of medicine and health products made from herba epimedii. The herba epimedii mainly depends on wild resources, which has led to a sharp decrease in the wild resources due to excessive collection in the field. At present, the supply of the wild resources of Epimedium is far from meeting the demand of production. In this paper, the Global Medicinal Plant Information Geography System (GMPGIS) was used to predict the suitable regions for planting herba epimedii based on climate and soil data in the distribution region of the wild Epimedium. The wild germplasm resources of Chinese Epimedium and the existing three excellent cultivators (Zhongke Jianye 1, Zhongke Qianbei 1 and Zhongke Wushan 1) were also been reviewed and introduced. The pollution-free and precision cultivation system of the herba epimdii, including the selection of planting base, soil complex improvement, seedlings breeding, rational application of fertilizer, comprehensive control of disease and precise field management, were discussed, which would shed light in guiding the pollution- free planting of herba epimedii, and is of great implication for industrial development of herba epimedii.

Objective:To explore the application effect of 3D printing technology in comprehensive reconstruction of thumb and finger.Methods:From January, 2018 to January, 2020, 67 patients with 84 thumbs and fingers defects were selected, which were 37 thumbs and 47 fingers, and 45 of I-III degree and 39 of IV-VI degree. The method of operation was comprehensive reconstruction of thumbs and fingers assisted by 3D printing technology. The patient's hands and feet were scanned with CT and 3D modeling, and the 1∶1 model was derived. The skin model and bone model of thumb and finger defect were printed. Put the skin model on the great toes, and design the shape of the nail flap to be cut. Then the flap was spread in the groin area to design the perforating branch flap of the superficial circumflex iliac artery. The interphalangeal joint or metatarsophalangeal joint of the second toe was cut off according to the skeleton model (when the length of the bone joint was not enough, the iliac bone strip was taken to be connected in series). The effect of operation was observed in outpatient.Results:All of the 84 thumbs and fingers survived and were followed-up for 3 to 24 months. The appearance of the reconstructed thumbs and fingers was similar to that of the normal ones, with good texture and elasticity. The nail was smooth and glossy. The sensory recovery was S 3+, and the TPD was 4-6 mm. According to the Evaluation Standard of Finger Replantation and Reconstruction of Hand Surgery Society of Chinese Medical Association, 70 thumbs and fingers were excellent and 14 thumbs and fingers were good. In 64 thumbs and fingers, all toes were preserved in the donor area, and the color and texture of the flap were satisfactory, which did not affect walking, running and jumping, and had no walking pain. Conclusion:With the help of 3D printing technology, the tissues can be cut more accurately during the thumb and finger comprehensive reconstruction, which not only improves the beauty of reconstructed thumbs and fingers, but also avoids unnecessary trauma and improves the satisfaction of patients.

OBJECTIVE: To track analysis of viral nucleic acid test results in patients with re-positive SARS-CoV-2 infection, and provide clinical reference for nucleic acid test of re-positive cases. METHODS: A retrospective study was conducted. The multiple nucleic acid results of 96 cases with SARS-CoV-2 infection tested by medical laboratory of Shenzhen Luohu Hospital Group from January to September in 2022 were analyzed. The test dates and cycle threshold (Ct) values of detectable positive virus nucleic acid in the 96 cases were summarized and analyzed. RESULTS: A total of 96 patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection were retested re-sampled for nucleic acid testing at least 12 days after the initial positive screening. Among them, 54 cases (56.25%) had Ct value of < 35 for nucleocapsid protein gene (N) and/or open reading frame 1ab gene (ORF 1ab), 42 cases (43.75%) had Ct value ≥ 35. In the re-sampling of infected patients, N gene titers were 25.08 to 39.98 Ct cycles, and ORF 1ab gene titers were 23.16 to 39.56 Ct cycles. Compared with the positive results of the initial screening, the Ct values of N gene and/or ORF 1ab gene positive were increased in 90 cases (93.75%). Among them, the patients with the longest duration of nucleic acid positive could still be positive for double targets (the Ct value of N gene was 38.60, and the Ct value of ORF 1ab gene was 38.11) at an interval of 178 days after the initial positive screening. CONCLUSIONS Patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 can be sustained or repeatedly tested positive for nucleic acid for a long period of time, and most of them had Ct values < 35. But whether it is infectious needs to be comprehensively evaluated by combining epidemiology, variant type, samples with the alive virus, and clinical symptoms and signs.

Objective:To investigate the value of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in predicting the prognosis of patients with severe heat stroke.Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on patients with severe heat stroke hospitalized in the ICU of Changzhou No. 2 People's Hospital from June 2013 to September 2019. The patients were divided into the survival group and death group according to their 30-day survival. The basic data of the patients were recorded. Blood routine, liver and kidney function parameters, troponin, brain natriuretic peptide, myocardial enzyme spectrum, blood coagulation routine, and acute physiology and chronic health evaluation (APACHE)Ⅱ were analyzed within 24 h after admission. Multivariate COX regression analysis was used to screen the risk factors of 30-day death. Spearman correlation test was used to analyze the correlation between NLR and APACHEII score. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were drawn to assess the predictive value of NLR for the 30-day death in patients with severe heat stroke. Kaplan-Meier survival curve was used to analyze 30-day cumulative survival of high-risk patients.Results:A total of 115 patients with severe heat stroke were included in this study, and they were divided into the survival group ( n=92) and the death group ( n=23) according to the prognosis. NLR in the death group was significantly higher than that in the survival group ( P<0.05). Multivariate COX regression analysis showed that NLR was an independent risk factor for death after adjusting confounders ( HR=1.091, 95% CI: 1.049-1.136, P<0.001). Spearman correlation test showed a correlation between NLR and APACHEII score ( r=0.655, P<0.001). ROC curve analysis showed that NLR had the greatest predictive value for 30-day death, with an area under ROC curve (AUC) of 0.787, a sensitivity of 82.6%, a specificity of 67.4%, and the cut-off value of 7.35. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis curve shows that patients in the below NLR cut-off value group had a significantly higher 30-day survival rate than those in the above NLR cut-off value group ( P<0.001). Conclusions:The increased NLR is a high risk factor for death in patients with severe heat stroke, and helps predict the prognosis of patients with severe heat stroke.
